Except the use of Express Entry for Serial number, NetSuite seems easy to use. I would prefer more edgy designing but it is good, what it has right now. Pros The best thing which I like about NetSuite is you can literally find any to everything just by writing it on search bar. Not just any particular item you are looking for but also the option or path you are searching. Sometimes I just forget how to reach to the option I am looking for. I just type it in search bar and it gives me the path I can follow to get there or just click the path and it takes you there. Cons The most annoying thing which I came to know from my employer is that you have to pay again for the customization if there is an update. We used to have a customized item to insert multiple serial numbers in one go but now I have to do it one by one because the customization went away and we do not want to keep paying for it. Not sure if that is true but it becomes really annoying when I have to put 800 serial numbers and even if I miss one, it doesn't let me save it. It does not even let us save a few numbers. Pros One of the finest products I have ever come across. It offers a wide range of features like e-commerce, inventory and supply chain management, CRM and financial management. Customer support is prompt and effective. It also has a user-friendly interface, and provides wide range of analytical tools. Pros I prefer other systems but when I used netsuite it was easy to use and I had very minimal issues with it. Cons I prefer the big names like ADP and quickbooks because of being able to do multiple things with each, netsuite I only use for employee hours and most employees are unfamiliar with it. The platform offers the required benefits and we certainly found it helpful working through the Netsuite Professional Services team for implementation. Pros Netsuite offers us a far more streamlined Finance ERP, allowing us to reduce on lengthy, admin driven tasks so our finance team can focus more on analysis rather than data entry! Cons Whilst the system itself is very flexible, it does require a high level of proficiency to manage. We have signed up with Netsuite's Advanced Customer Support to negate this but this does add to our overall cost of ownership. I recommend if switching to have training docs and steps prior to go live. Pros I liked how everything linked together and all information for a sales order could easily be tracked. Cons There were times that a simple cash sale would take too many steps for something so small. There are also some accounts that were not easy to reconcile like accrued liabilities. It would be nice if Netsuite had standard financial reports that you can drill down on.
