I want to recommend this especially to Accountants like me Pros Net suite is a very friendly user, it is very easy to use and easy to learn. During tax season, I always use Net suite for bookkeeping and tax job. I dont have a formal training using this Netsuite but I learned too fast. Cons It's a little bit pricey. Moreover Netsuite does a great job in consolidation, handling intercompany transactions and multi currencies. Cons Creating saved searches is not very intuitive at times, it can be very difficult to find fields as there are several similar named fields. I am in the process of exploring the premium package and see how we can use Netsuite in full. Pros Netsuite is a good ERP system to small to medium sized business. It is flexible and easy to understand. Saved searches can be easily developed to assist with any business queries. Cons Where should I start, just comparing to SAP that I am used to: 1, lack of control framework in terms of access. There seems to be no check of internal control for access and roles 2, the interface is hard to maneuver. There are many drop done menus but I still can’t find what I need 3, the reporting is basic and there are limited dashboard and business analytic tools that we know how to use 4, add on apps, I dislike the fact that Netsuite has outsourced the development of some modules to external partners and has no unified solution within Netsuite native apps. Very few bugs or issues with the system. Cons All the additional add on charges. Something looks good but wait there’s a fee for it. We would utilise it more if it wasn’t so costly to add to the program.
