I wish the training module would've offered documentation on how to support the more complex tasks. Pros The CSV import functionality has saved me a lot of time from inputting data manually. Also, SuiteFlow has been a great help with automating data entry. Cons I feel like is constantly hanging a carrot in front of my face. Here are a few things that I like least: \* The administrators training module only teaches you the basics, so I had to rely on SuiteAnswers to figure out how to do the more complex tasks. \* The add-on features that would help us run more efficiently are part of these big packages that cost significantly more, which are not cost-effective for us. \* So many little things, like why can't the item name be longer than 60 characters (this has inconvenienced us a lot), why can't workflow use the plus symbol to add multiple custom fields into another custom field, why aren't there multiple email address fields for the customers/vendors that are actually functional, why isn't there an function to process split payments, why do we have to be specific with keywords when searching through SuiteAnswers? Cons Workbook Visualizations are lacking in complexity and formatting. I can't map percentages against totals without secondary axes. I can't select the colors used for my various charts. Even if every series charted is formatted as a percentage, if multiple series are charted, then the y-axis will display as a decimal. It helps you to make the "work from everywhere" real. It is easy to get going with its interface and you can drag and drop forms and reports. There are occasional performance issues and bugs, but the support provision deals with these fairly quickly. In short it is powerful, and customisable, and recommended. Pros A cloud-based ERP system, suites companies looking for security and reliability, combined with a solid feature set and frequent upgrades. The UI includes a powerful search tool, and it is easy find what you need and move around in the system. Cons It is a relatively expensive solution, which also requires a lot of your own development time to customise forms and functions for your business. We continuously asked for live demonstrations and they would send us a "high level" You Tube video. More detailed videos would be available once you sign on for the product. But they promise the ease of use and simple implementation process. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Pros The possibilities of this product could be endless, but it is OVERSOLD for what you actually need for a small business. Cons The implementation process is ridiculous. must have all documents in their format and they can't use pricing documents that you already have in place. The timing to convert is INSANE! From sales order entry to receipt of payments it does it all. Regards to warehouse and inventory control, the software is very easy to use. Cons We tried to use the CRM features but that feature was too bulky to get anything done. Reason for choosing NetSuite We didn't choose NS CRM+. It is for the serious business that wants a serious solution. We were fortunate enough to use a trained consultant to do the implementation and now we have a fantastic solution even through getting there was not smooth sailing. Once you allow Netsuite to do what it does well like integrating with other products you will never regret choosing it. Cons It is a great product but it is not a simple one. Review Source BG Bart G. They used to have Outlook integration which although buggy was an excellent method of ensuring all customer comms via email were accurately recorded in CRM Cons We were very early adopters of and as such we're forced in the beginning to custom develop much of the capability we needed simply because NS hadn't yet created it. Over the years we've become reliant on this custom development which is stable but very slow, complicated and virtually impossible to support. It is very easy to use by anyone. It has quicker search for clients. It is very robust through which one can make reports easily as it comprises of great tools. Cons I can hardly find any con pertaining to this software. One of the con is that mostly used pages got hidden in menus causing troubles for the users. We use this software for keeping good communication with our sales department. Honestly, you have so many options for inputting data that there is no reason not to use it. Cons This software is not intuitive and should only be used if you can have someone train you for exactly how to use it. We had the same person train us as who trained the Sales department. Made the process for us that much easier. Project resources clock their time, expenses, and travel orders directly in NetSuite, Project Managers produce the invoice and review profitability, and Accountants and Controllers see the according invoices, supplier bills, expense reports, and journals for accruals and exchange rate adjustments trickle in on the GL.
