It also helps in finding target areas for marketing based on location. Netsuite has helped our organization in making some very important decisions which turned out to be very beneficial in the longer run. Pros Real-time reporting and dashboard KPI’s are helpful in decision-making. Easy to generate reports. Cons Difficult to implement in smaller organizations as it is expensive. It allows us to efficiently move information through our organization and deliver a high level of customer support while maximizing productivity across the organization. NetSuite's role based dashboards allow our employees to see the information that is important to them. Pros Better than the Oracle's interface. Programming is easier than other software packages. User profiles are robust. Cons Sometimes logs off when opening multiple tabs. Third Party softwares need to be purchased which is an extra cost. Budgeting needs to be improved. It helps in maintaining liaison between the requirement and procurement of goods. It is helpful for small, mid-size as well as large businesses provided it is configured as per their requirements. Pros 1\. Web-based tool so unlimited accessibility. 2. Configurable as per requirement so it is good for businesses of all sizes. Cons 1\. It sometimes gets a little slow when the quantum of stored data becomes large. 2. Search functionality is not intuitive enough but it can be improved in the coming versions of the software. During my 4 month internship, I was placed in an couple of different divisions (Finance, Customer Service and Account Management) and I got to use Netsuite quite a bit. The interface is easy to use, provides great visuals and is flexible enough to accommodate fringe cases for invoice and order management. It is also easy to make corrections in the system, just don't click the "close" icon. Cons I am pleased with Netsuite. The monthly cost for a small/mid size business is a little higher than we'd like to pay however, this does not mean it's not a good product. Cons: Application becomes challenging to use for large volume transactions. Cons Complex system that is very configurable to meet your needs, but this creates a lot of noise as there are many things you may not need or use, making the software somewhat confusing and cumbersome to use at times.
