Cons: With power and control comes complexity at times: controls are achieved by approximately 4,000 "permissions". These can be a challenge for new users to configure properly. Unfortunately, the interface is something to be desired. Because of this and its usability, our Sales team didn't take to it very well, and we ended up moving to SFDC. Whatever you need to customize or automate, it can be done and there are plenty of partners to help. NetSuite can enable any one business, and all of it's employees. It has served as an easy way to manage and collect data by allowing limitless secure dashboard possibilities. Pros Good transparency across verticals and between the same level. It works great for maintaining inventory counts. Cons It's not at all user-friendly. It doesn't flow, nor is it intuitive with multi-step processes. We used the Case Management and Project Management modules were used most. Configuration was fast and easy. Customizing reports, searches and alerts made the workflow processes smooth. Pros NetSuite is very user friendly and easy for new employees to quickly get up to speed. Reports are easy to run and export to Excel cleanly and easily. Comparatively speaking, Netsuite is very flexible and easy to customize. Our instance is highly customized and we're still able to easily support and upgrade twice a year with minimal issues. We upgraded our system to NetSuite. It was certainly a huge upgrade, but it came with a lot of pros and cons. It has a lot of features and functionalities and you really have to invest in time and resources to best leverage them. Its definitely not a tool which someone can just figure out. It has connectors with Salesforce which is a good thing as that is what 99% of the companies need. It is also the only CRM software we reviewed that has an eCommerce application that connects your CRM to your website to track client activity and organize that information into reports and forecasts that you can use to grow your business. Pros 1\. Data is secure and provides fraud protection. 2. Flexible Depreciation Management 3. Does the job of taking a prospect to a customer and then housing all data that comes from that relationship. 4. Organization of files is confusing, items saved at couple of places with url renamed. Cons 1\. Beneficial for average sized companies more than smaller ones. 2. Can be slow if too much of data is stored. We outgrew QuickBooks and chose Netsuite as our next software. The implementation took some time, but now that it's up and running the features are great. When selecting an ERP for my current company, NetSuite topped the list and was eventually our final choice. I love the ease of use and the fact that it is all web based. Being MAC based here the ERP options were somewhat limited. Also the Suitetalk functions and connectivity to other parts of the business. No major cons. Would recommend this software.
