The reporting aspects that we have setup are pretty good and are currently keeping us in for the time being. Pros The reporting is phenomenal! Really a start to end system that has all the bells and whistles. Cons It is highly complicated to do the simplest of tasks and since NetSuite does about everything, it does everything mediocre. In previous jobs, I have had experience with AS400, Quickbooks, Peachtree and other software programs. NetSuite has been the easiest to use and definitely will grow with your business. The part that works well for us (thanks to our Salesforce Hero) is that it can update Salesforce back and push data from Salesforce too. The tool is not very intuitive and does take lots of steps to get things done. Our team overall doesnt feel very comfortable using this tool and hope they can make some good improvements. It is also helpful as anyone with formal training can use the software without the need of an accountant in a set-up. Cons It is expensive so the value for money factor depends on its use in an organization and the cost which can be allocated to it. The shift between screens takes time sometimes. Cons Customizing reports can be challenging with all transaction and account field included in the standard report, you need to know the exact field name and where it is located. Cons We came to the understanding that our company would not be a good fit for the solutions. It is great to work with a vendor that gives you straight answers and does not try and over sell. Pros NetSuite CRM is a fully functional web-based CRM with a good many features and functions. The customisation possibilities are incredible and it sports every API you can dream of.
