I have had over 10 years of experience with Netsuite including a turnkey implementation. There is nothing else on the market that can compete with Netsuite. Pros The functionality and limitless business intelligence through dashboards, saved searches, customized financial statement layouts. Cons There is a significant learning curve to utilize the higher level functions of Netsuite. I am still learning new tips/tricks after 10 years with the software. Review Source PP Philip P. Pros All my work data can be stored in on one application. Very user friendly & keeps an accurate & up-to-date track of all my gains/losses. Cons I've yet to find anything within this software that has not been beneficial to my daily work needs. Salesforce was used at my former workplace -- My new workplace now requires NetSuite to be used as our CRM. A switch I had no issues with whatsoever. Very helpful tool for my day-to-day tasks. The program features have allowed us to track our inventory in ways we couldn't do with QuickBooks and except for the reporting issues the program has been quite intuitive. Pros Ability to expand the capabilities of the program to meet the needs of our company that is growing in product diversification and locations. The ability to manage multiple subsidiaries and perform consolidated reporting. Employ demand and supply planning to assist with our Procure to Pay cycle. Cons The ACS has been very disappointing and will not renew the subscription. Their knowledge base was fine but the language barrier made it difficult to communicate. The reporting is overly complex. Attempting to add something as basic as Location to a report brings up multiple "Location" options and usually none of them work. Very exasperating. Also the comparative financial statement reports are very poorly designed. Attempting to create a YTD report for either Income Stmt or Bal. Sheet brings up the entire previous year. Alternatives considered [Fishbowl](https://www.capterra.com/p/123794/Fishbowl/) Reason for choosing NetSuite Ability to integrate with SPS. Other features that were lacking in the other products. Also needed to separate billing and receiving dates. Needed to be able to manage multiple subsidiaries without opening separate company files. Needed to begin implementing demand planning. The impact on efficiency has been clear from the start. Pros I really appreciate how intuitive NetSuite is. It's easy to access and understand what is happening within the system, which simplifies day-to-day operations. The ability to generate insightful reports and BI directly from the system's own data is a major advantage for decision-making. Cons Certain standard configurations that are common in other ERPs are, for some reason, restricted in NetSuite. Allowing these configurations would lead to significant time savings and improved accuracy.. Netsuite can integrate with alot of different tools like for AP, close management, travel & expense. This is a scalable ERP for our mid size company. Cons The most basic customer support for Netsuite is expensive and not always the most reliable as most of them operate offshore. The free support can take days to get an answer. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to move their business forward since it’s complet. Pros Netsuite is easy to use and offers good flexibility for setting up workflows for each company in their respective field. It connects easily with all the tools we use daily, its learning curve is not long which allowed our staff to be able to master it quite quickly. Since then, we have had great success in tracking our Customer relationships in NetSuite (CRM) and tying everything into Accounting. Pros I love that NetSuite is a one-stop shop for everything and we can easily integrate our other apps into NetSuite. Cons At first, the system was a bit difficult to get used to because of how many different things there are to navigate to. However, this is all customizable and got much easier to use with time.
