### "When it is for free and few limitations, it is a must for new outbound calls company"

Pros

It is free, it is good for small companies up to 25 outbound calls. Works with Linux and open source. When it is about money and quality of the call it is a choice to make.

Cons

It is a not "good looking" interface, not pretty I mean, but as I said is for free and does it's job properly, the outfit doesn't count.

It makes going through a large number of calls a lot more affordable and organized .

Pros

The biggest that stands out is that you can use ViCIdial for free. On top of that it ensures a constant stable connection and through the open source development ,there are always improvements .

Cons

While the reports are very informative ,they are hard to understand .I would also be very happy with a design update .

My experience was terrible. I would not recommend this software to anyone. Unless they have fixed the issues. I doubt they have. We tried to get them fixed and they did not do anything. Our company changed to another software.

Pros

The only pros that I can say about this software is that when it worked I was able to work. I was somewhat easy to use.

Cons

The cons are that is glitched out too much. Leaving us to just sit around and not do our jobs. I had gotten a call while I was on a call. I had gotten a call from one of my coworkers working outbound.

If a VICIdial system is set up and managed properly, it can be extremely reliable. Unfortunately, many companies who set up VICIdial on their own, do not set it up or manage it properly, so their agents have the experience you have mentioned.

It worked great for me who was starting up and didn't want to invest too much money on a autodialer solution. It has all the features I needed to offer my customers a rich autodialer experience.

Pros

Open source softwares are the best ones to help you save money, especially if you're starting up a business.

Cons

It's a bit complicated to learn in the beginning, but after a few weeks you get used to it and it becomes easier.

Pros

its flexible and well maintained. Very dependable and scalable . The manual is a great tool as well to help you build from start to finish. Vicibox install is a simple install if it is for just one server or a cluster with many nodes.

Cons

The SVN upgrade is a bit confusing but once you do it once it is easily done there after. Also lack instructions on how to do so

Pros

Open software. Easy to setup with the new vicibox. Bulletproof code never fails. Our business would not be able to grow so easily and quickly without it. Support is great and available. I definitely recommend taking the training courses if you are an administrator. MySQL backend allows you to use SQL queries in case you need to change anything manually. A lot of functions can be changed in the cron jobs to enhance performance easily.

Cons

There were a couple of items but emailed support and they were fixed or explained how I blundered it and needed to fix.

We use Vicidial in our call center for over 8 years. Once you master it, it is a very powerful solution. It needs proper equipment and the right config skills, but once implemented correctly it brings only satisfaction. We cover 4 locations (all being remote to Vicidial servers) and ~200 agents. We are able to provide our customers almost all features available in the commercial suites and keep a competitive price. I totally recommend Vicidial for small and medium call centers for the flexibility, innovation, features and for being an open source solution. Thank you guys!

I am using this dialer from last one year approx. and it's very easy to use and easy to understand. Any new recruitment in our organisation get trained on it within 2-3 days.

Cons

Sometimes i face a lot of glitches while using it. But it gets the job done for me most of the time.

We had switched to VICIDIAL on 2012 and had scaled up one of our team. It is extremely flexible to automate and enhance. The functionality is almost everything you could think about. The UI used to be the most disliked part of our but the new changes on the UI looks quite neat. Overall a very satisfied consumer of the VICIDIAL application. Regards, Mehran

We use VICIdial for clocking our agents. It serves as a great backup for a CRM tool since it works with the time you log in and out.

Pros

I love that it's easy to use and it becomes a part of your routine. Either you're using it to dial or you're just punching in.

Cons

The visual side, it could really use a UI redesign. It needs more color and more elegant graphics.

Pros

As part of my work , I have to contact customers and verify payment information with them .Vicidial makes organizing those calls and going through them ( securely ) as quickly as that can be managed .It truly does make my work a lot easier .

Cons

The design is really outdated and makes navigating harder than it could be .

Extremely stable and has all the functionality that you need to run a call center.

Cons

I'm sure most people would agree that the Windows 1995 look with the antique gray colors are a bit outdated. If they would stop being so stubborn and update the look they will be able to better compete in the commercial space.

The thing that makes Vicidial so amazing is that it is open source so you can make changes or have access to the database. And the constant adding of new features is amazing. Scalable to more people is easy. Will never switch to any other platform.

Pros

This software is easy to understand and follow it logic and settings. It also allow to write supporting scripts outside the program itself.

Cons

Some detail in the manual are not always clear so you need to test to get it wright.

The call center suite that never failed to meet our requirements.

Pros

Clustering is very easy to implement, thanks to its cluster setup wizard. You can scale up your vicidial cluster as your call center grow. Support from the creators and community it great. Most questions that you might ask have already been answered on the support forum.

Cons

GUI is a bit 'old school'. A fresher GUI, like with GoAutodial will add to the user experience, although functionality should always be on the top priority.

We use ViciDial since 2007 and it fulfilled all the needings for many callcenter we manage. It is actually the best Opensource software for this purposes.

Pros

Full featured. Every needing for daily managment of a in/outbound callcenter is included. Supervisoning of the whole workflow is easy for teamleders Statistics and reports are greats Asterisk integration quite easy Support from developers and from comunity is very good

Cons

First installation a little bit tricky. But only the first time you approach this software.

Pros

It's an ideal software for small to medium call centres containing such user friendly interface. Some of its key features are email integration, inbound and outbound calls, call recording and online chat.

Cons

There should be at least one team member who is well versed with the software. It becomes hard to tackle when any sudden technical issue come up.

Pros

I was able to use it for multiple functions within our operations from as simple as time clock to an automatic dialer.

Cons

The interface to set up the dialer was a little bit more technical than I would want for end user. Just having a stronger GI would have been helpful.

Pros

It was relatively easy to install the first time, for someone with knowledge of open source.

Cons

Features ( extra features ) are hard to install for someone who does not know programming. And one can never be sure they work.

We are VoIP specialist and software developer with more than 10 years of experience, and when we found this product 5 years ago, it was the best solution we found that fited our spectatives and it is still the best. Now we are developing parts of software to integrate costumer's existing CRM/ERP and other solutions they already are using in their business proccess with Vicidial.

Pros

The open source model and all functionalities it has.

Cons

Definitely the user interface for the agent and reports that are presented in txt mode and cannot be exported to excel or pdf.

Biggest pro is being free .On top of that ,ViCidial is probably the most efficient way I am aware of ,for organizing and going through calls.

Cons

If you have a lot of campaigns loaded up and aren't careful with properly naming them beforehand , they can be a hassle to manage.

Vicidial has been a dream come true. Our previous dialer software was costly and had limitations. Since we've switched to vicidial, we've made 10x more outbound calls than we were making with the previous software. Vicidial is easy to use, easy to set up, and flexible enough to meet all of our needs. The vicidial group has been great to work with when I needed help as well as the online community that has built up around vicidial. I would highly recommend vicidial to anyone looking for a powerful yet easy to use call center software.
