### "I spent money on predictive dialers; I should have installed Vicidial for free!"

Where should I start? I never knew a software program could do the same job as expensive predictive dialers. I got the best predictive dialer on the planet now, and it cost me nothing. nada, null. it's unbelievable!

Pros

The web based software we used was called Vicidial. In February 2017 I stopped using the fronters, and started researching this "Vicidial" program. I assumed the guys in the PI had spent hundreds of thousands, like I did, on predictive dialers. When I learned that you could install Vicibox just like installed linux on a computer, and that it would do the job of a predictive dialer and that the program was free, I was astounded. Quality wise and feature wise Vicidial is 100 times better than the predictive dialers I paid thousands for, and Vicidial is free! I've had vicibox in production for a few months. First one server, then evolving into a cluster of a database, web, asterisk server. What would you like a dialer to do? Vicidial does it! Vicidial does everything you ever wanted in a predictive dialer. A true Godsend!

Pros

I work for a car repair service in Russia, Moscow. Our \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has set the goal of phoning 1,000 clients during the coronavirus pandemic. I started looking for software for calling. At first, I downloaded GoAutodial and spent almost 4 days on setting up and I was not able to start it. I wrote in support, in a chat, but no one answered. Then I found your site. I downloaded the Vicidial iso image and in 1 day we set everything up. I just want to say thank you so much for what you are doing. I understand how difficult it is to create such software.

Cons

Everything works as expected. The only remark is that the server works only under OpenSUSE. And this operating system is not very popular in our country.

Reason for choosing VICIdial

It is free, opensource, well documented and I can do everything I want

I am able to create campaigns very quickly for my clients.

Pros

I like that I am able to program this very easily and take the settings from a campaign I already made and move it to another new campaign. It saves a lot of time for me.

Cons

I do not like that I have to run multiple reports to get all of the information my clients want to see on a return file.

We use VICIdial in our small call center and it does everything we need it to, and more! We use it for inbound and manual dial calling, and we just started testing the new built-in website customer chat functions.

Pros

Free, stable, open-source, no required contracts, works with any telco carrier

Cons

There are almost too many features. You can get lost in all of the configuration settings.

Very simple and easy to use. Great user and administrator experience. The predictive dialing feature is very efficient and ensures good call flow and productivity.

Cons

Missing a few standard features. Customisations can be complex and expensive to deploy. The pro's far outweigh the negatives. I highly recommend the Vicidial software.

Pros

Very easy interface for agents to dial and disposition calls. Creating lists for campaigns is relatively easy as well.

Cons

Dialing software pushes through a lot of answering machines and drops high rate of calls when trying to turn dialer to a higher speed. Some times customer support is unable to identify proper tech support needs.

We've been using Vicidial for the last 4 years now, both on Goautodial and Vicibox, and it never failed to meet our requirements, whether it's for inbound or outbound campaigns. The documentation/manual is superb. All that you need to know about Vicidial can be found there. Support forum is also great. You can always find quick answers to the queries that you might have.

Great for predictive dialer. The easiest is used thus far.

Pros

I used the front and back end of this system and it was a great experience. Its simplistic design allows me to navigate through reporting functionalities without having to be s super tech wiz.

Cons

No sure if it was because of our network speed or if the program struggled to manage to many requests at once, but when toggling between different reporting functions delayed.
