The VICIDIAL is a wonderful outbound predictive dialer and is Great at Features. Good for small to medium organisations with little budget.

Cons

We and our customers always found it Little Hard to use Interface. It's way complicated and needs a lot of improvement especially on UI.

Cons

Usability could be improved. And probably UI completely refactored with modern style. Translation in french was not perfect at all.

Pros

This is the cheapest dialer in the Philippines but very convenient to use. We can save money for small online businesses in the market

Cons

It is hard to use the transfer in this type of dialer. I had my agents complaining about it plus there are lots of buttons to click.

The program has practically no analogues. The fact is that among the free call centers VICIdial simply does not have competitors in terms of the level of opportunities. About some of the functions you do not even guess, naturally asking the question: and so you can?

Cons

The system has practically no adequate and well-developed community. In case of any problems or issues, the decision may be delayed for a long time.

We needed to set up a semi-automated buddy call service for agent seniors, using a volunteer force of calling agents called Silver buddies. I was able to use VICIdial to,deliver the full service and modify the user interfaces to match our service requirements.

Pros

There are so many things like about this software! The primary one for me is that all the common functions for a marketing, lead generation and reporting can be renamed and remapped to health care terminology.

Cons

Steep learning curve and online help forums not very helpful. Being told to ‘read the manual’ when asking questions is not very useful!

Trying to find fully featured call center that doesn't break the bank is no small feat. New call centers that are growing rapidly need a cost effective but reliable and easy to scale platform. Vicidial has created a platform that can handle even the most complex call center needs. I absolutely love this product!! Those guys rock.

Pros

Easy to cluster and grow. Very simple setup but has all the features needed.

Cons

Can you guys PLEASE PLEASE update the GUI to something in this century.

Since 2010 (or before) Vicidial has been the best open source solution for contact center. We´ve used vicidial for a contact center with 20 agents and worked flawlessly. It was very easy to configure and the agents worked very well with little or not dead times between calls.

Pros

Easy to install, easy to configure.

Cons

In the old versions, the security may be a concern (defaults passwords, defaults extensions). I hope this has been improved in the latest versions.

Pros

Easy to install and supervise afterwards .Can be integrated into your company's CRM for optimum efficiency. You also can't beat it at pricing ,when there isn't any !

Cons

It takes a lot of time to configure your preferences ,dialer data and call times at the beginning . Smooth sailing after that in my experience .

My clients love Vicidial. They used to have a proprietary dialer system, and this is a much better product.

Pros

It is easy to install and easy to use - all around great. Way easier than installing Asterisk from scratch. And it is super reliable. Very satisfied.

Cons

The only difficulty I've had is that it is a little hard to understand how to configure campaigns. But once you figure it out, it's no big deal.
