### "Unprofessional and untrustworthy – avoid JobAdder"

We had agreed in writing with \[sensitive content hidden\] from JobAdder's sales team to start with a trial month at a fixed rate. When we began testing the platform, we were required to enter a credit card. There was no option anywhere in the system to apply the agreed amount. After reaching out to \[sensitive content hidden\], he asked us to go ahead and select the account option anyway, assuring us they would manually adjust the invoice. Instead, our company was charged for six full accounts. I contacted both \[sensitive content hidden\] multiple times in writing, asking for a refund. Each time I was told that they were "working on it" and that the money would be refunded soon. This was in April 2025 — and to this day, we have not received any credit. To make things worse, they even tried to charge us for another month, claiming there was a one-month cancellation period. However, our trial was clearly agreed as a fixed one-month test, and I had explicitly asked \[sensitive content hidden\] in writing to confirm this and to include a cancellation clause if needed. His response: "That won’t be necessary" — he confirmed it was a trial month only. Once the trial ended and the problems began, JobAdder ignored our agreements. \[sensitive content hidden\] stopped responding entirely, despite several follow-up attempts. In my experience, JobAdder has proven to be highly unprofessional and unreliable. I strongly advise any company to stay away from this provider. The way they handle client agreements and credit card data raises serious concerns.

Pros

The sales representative (\[sensitive content hidden\]) was very engaged and responded promptly to all inquiries before the purchase. Communication was fast and proactive during the pre-sales phase.

Cons

The same sales representative who was very responsive before the purchase stopped replying once billing issues arose. He also failed to respond when JobAdder refused to honor the clearly written agreement regarding the fixed one-month trial period.

Great - their implementation process is really good and thorough so you don't miss any settings and make sure it's all customized for you. Using the system has been great and their support team are also good.

Pros

Integration with Seek is great. I loke the look and feel of the site - easy to navigate around. Has great communication features with saving email/interview templates.

Cons

When screening though candidates you can't filter by their answers to the screening questions. You have to check their answers one by one.

### "Very Poor Customer Experience "

I would strongly advise against using JobAdder. A business claiming to be a market leader should not treat its customers this way.

Pros

The product itself is acceptable. General usability is ok. Feedback from my recruiters is that its easy to use.

Cons

The customer service is appalling. I’ve raised numerous issues up to director level and received only empty promises with little to no resolution. Emails are frequently ignored, in some cases I’ve sent five follow-ups with no reply. Having worked in recruitment for nearly 30 years, I can honestly say JobAdder’s customer service is the worst I’ve experienced. Recent system outages and failures only add to the concern. I’ve heard service standards have declined over the last 18 months, and my experience confirms this.

### "Easy to use ATS"

I used the software in an in-house recruitment team and it was great. E.g. allows you to take notes while you're on a phone call, set up the screening questions you want so there's less double handling.

Pros

Easy to use and always introducing new functions - intuitive and made it easy to multitask and swing back and forth between roles and candidates. Subscription was based on the number of users - no lock in contract. Email signatures and a lot of features were customisable.

Cons

The AI matching when it was first introduced wasn't up to scratch at times but understand that there's kinks with anything new.

### "Good from afar, but far from good!"

Pros

Look and feel is quite good. The UI is intuative.

Cons

Lack of flexibility to use fields to populate contracts. Implementation partner went out of business with our money.

### "JobAdder just works well!!"

JobAdder overall has been great to use and allowed me to take full advantage of the platform while recruiting at a great price. There are cheaper options available on the market but you lose some integration capabilities.

Pros

A great platform with lots of integrations available to make recruiting a slick process and utilising some AI features too!

Cons

The mobile app version didn't seem to be fully operational with minimal features compared to the full version.

The cost implications of starting with SaleForce as a start up were prohibitive and when you compare products JobAdder is recruitment specific which shows in the product.

### "You'll struggle to find a better ATS!!"

I've implemented multiple applicant tracking systems. Our process for selecting JobAdder was thorough, b/c we had made some mistakes in previously deploying other products that looked great during the product demo, but after going live realizing the product made you hate your job and the support team made you want to strangle someone. My experience with JobAdder is a 9.0 on 1-10 scale. The truth is, no system is perfect...they all have their flaws. So we are extremely happy with our selection and looking forward to building our company and our processes around the current and future capabilities of their system.

Pros

it starts with the team and the culture/attitude of service and continuous improvement. Their culture cascades into every aspect of the business, from development, to product, to support, etc. The product is intuitive and easy to use. The support team is highly responsive and they are experts on their system, so little time is wasted by their support rep seeking answers to questions they should already have the answers to. It is very easy to configure. The product team is continually releasing helpful updates/feature enhancements to improve user experience. The integrations they've built bring significant functionality through their marketplace that not only offers enhanced features/capabilities, but saves time...a lot of it!

Cons

They are working on most of my issues. They have an effective process for processing the user community's feature enhancement requests and adding meaningful requests into the product roadmap. The two things that I'd like to see is: 1) Multi column sorting, and 2) group update of any/every field in a record. There are other things, but the workarounds are acceptable.

Absolutely Outstanding!The team at Head Office was incredibly pro-active and helped me at every step, responded to all queries very quickly.Excellent Sales and Support staff.I have used a number of competitors, JobAdder is the only software program to use for Business Development, Client Management, Labour Hire and Recruitment.

Pros

Where do you start - Everything including, Candidate Management, Business Development, Finance and Costing, right through to Advertising.

Cons

The Price - Its going to hurt when I have to buy more licences.

### "Shiny when sold, nightmare when used"

At sales stage Jobadder seemed to tick all the boxes. Seemed one step ahead in terms of integrations and to be providing an overall array of features that fit our needs. Once we got to use it, it has been a terrible, painful experience. We deeply regret choosing Jobadder and despite investing additional $ in the top setup package, we will now be looking to move to a different ATS after only 6 months. We stronbgly suggest you to look carefully into how each feature you care about works, because it will likely work differently than you expect. In detail, this why we think this has been a terrible choice for us: 1) There is literally no automation. Yes, there are email templates, yes, there are contracts embedded through hello sign etc, but everything must be triggered by a human. Moving candidates, send email etc. Nothing can be automated to a level we would have expected in 2022. Auto rejection email? Nope, move candidates in rejection stage, select all candidates, select action, select email, repeat every day of your life. 2) Jobadder is not the same product in all markets. Some features may or may not be available in the country you choose to put you data on. It's bizarre. 3) We got sold a product that should integrate with Aircall. We must record voice interactions as part of candidate note and this did all we needed. Aircall integration is left right and centre everywhere. Could not get it to integrate correclty. Took 5 months of tickets for support to come back with t

### "Great ATS, lots of functionality and value for money"

Great service pre and post sale. Great training and if we needed support, raising a ticket is simple and easy to do and advice is very quick to resolve the issue.

Pros

I love this piece of software, its easy to use and simple to follow. The process flows are perfect for keeping track of candidates, applications, jobs available to work on and to keep the documentation in one location. Perfect for WFH teams.

Cons

I would be great if JA could automate some of the Skills input from a resume as this is still a time-consuming task when we could be doing other things.

Regarding your feedback around automating data entry for Skills, at this stage we don't automatically skill code a Candidate for the Recruiter. However, to view Candidates with a certain skill, we'd recommend using our Resume Keyword Search. This feature searches based on skills mentioned on a Candidate's resume and works similarly to a skill code search.

### "JobAdder is a fabulous product..."

Good. The response to any problem is very swift and the staff are friendly.

Pros

The system is easy to navigate, with each of the pages linked to others, saving a lot of time.

Cons

The JobAdder development is constantly making improvements, and new service providers / Add-ons are regularly added, and yet some of the basics don't seem to get finished...like updating the Contact screen so that is is the same as the updated Candidate screen. I've made numerous practical improvement suggestions and yet to see any of them implemented.

I had used JobAdder for several years at my previous company and wanted to be able to hit the ground running. (My previous employer had done the groundwork comparing other products and as I enjoyed working with the product saw no point in recreating the wheel.

Peace of mind that I have all information captured for current and future reference and relative to security and privacy requirements. My IT provider hosts the data in their data center also.

Pros

The total end-to-end capture of processes and data relative to candidate and client management and associated relationship development and retention.

Cons

I manually transfer a range of comprehensive documents from Office 365 to JobAdder at the end of a project /process. This may not be a real issue though. I may be able to access a tutorial or technology to automate this.

Reason for choosing JobAdder

I used it with my last employer and found it to be overall excellent as compared to what were using, e.g Sales Force and FastTrack.

I have customised it so I can recruit really efficiently.

Pros

features easy to use, easy to see candidates in a list OR individual files, can open links always in a new tab, its very very smooth to use and very nice to look at, Makes me motivated to work!

Cons

some small areas don't talk to other areas, I really need some changes made so the system can be more well rounded. I also have a glitch in my system so you cant amend activity sheets without calling on JA support.In placements, you cant email / SMS both candidate and clients from the placement tabs, this can be annoying as it is not synced up with similar functions.

It was fairly easy to use, however, there were many additional "basic" requirements that weren't available on the basic platform.

Pros

JobAdder's workflows assisted us in defining and refining our hiring processes. It was simple to use.

Cons

I was unable to collaborate with my hiring teams directly on the system. I could not give the hiring managers access to the platform.

### "A Powerful Tool for Applicant Management"

Pros

As a scaling business, JobAdder plugged seamlessly into our existing infrastructure. Easy embed options enabled us to brand our posting on our existing site, while managing the data in their platform using powerful tools like a Natural Language Processor to be able to search through resumes and other applicant data.

Cons

There was a bit of a learning curve for our users / administrators of the system to navigate through the various pages/listing/options. However, once folks were sufficiently trained and got the hang of it, they were able to use it more comfortably.

### "Great applicant tracker but workflow could do with improvement"

Pros

Jobadder makes the applicant tracking process easy to manage if you use job boards such as Seek (who are a part-owner of Jobadder). Being able to access candidates from anywhere via this cloud based tool is great. The resume search tool is also good and the system is relatively fast given it's cloud based.

Cons

Whilst this is a slick tool, Jobadder still has a way to go in terms of being a total workflow management tool and it is quite clear that it started life as an applicant tracking tool rather than a recruitment database. If you value a database where all email correspondence is linked to clients / candidates then this one is not for you. There is no seamless link between your email client and jobadder meaning you have to manually upload emails to the database (sent and received) from google or outlook 365. Furthermore this is something they (jobadder developers) do not see as valuable. For some people this is a non-issue but for me, I like to keep an audit trail of all client correspondence and easily be able to access it and ensure if needed it has a time and date stamp and can easily forward this email to a client (usual issues such as re-sending terms of business and the usual issues a recruitment firm faces around the timing of candidate submissions etc. Furthermore there is no ability to undertake a text search on notes / emails that you do manually upload into the system. The float functionality is very geared towards low-value recruitment, utilising a tool whereby the client clicks a hyperlink which goes to a jump page which you have no control over the look and feel of. From a workflow perspective, being able to update candidate skills, employment details, add notes etc is a little hit and miss. I have voiced these concerns but get the feeling their priority is to continually add smaller job boards to the platform than continue to improve workflow and functionality. It's a real pity as they are ALMOST there in terms of having a really awesome tool! For now we will stick with them but here's hoping I can change my 6 to a 10!

Pros

Everything you need is all in one place with clever integrations that keep on being developed, with new ones being added regularly. Good customer service with limited drop outs.
