Pros CSG Forte customer service is one of the best I have experience over 35 years of running a small business. The representatives are knowledgeable, courteous and easy to reach by phone. Response time via email is prompt as well. One representative (\[sensitive content hidden\]) went so far as to set up a three-way call with the accounting software I use to clearly and succinctly explain a programming modification that would change what was displayed when a customer clicked the payment link in an emailed invoice so that the end user truly would have control over which payment options to present to customers. The programming change was recently implemented by the accounting program, all thanks to CSG Forte's customer service representative. Cons Multiple ACH payments made the same day combine into one bank deposit, and then there's a bit of detective work required to confirm which invoices combined to make that total. Individual payments are visible in Forte, of course, and those individual payments are seen in the accounting software, but the intermediate step - the bank deposit total - presents a lump sum. Switched from [QuickBooks Online](https://www.capterra.com/p/190778/QuickBooks-Online/) QB is WAY too expensive and keeps increasing their prices. We only have 2 employees and were paying more than$500 annually for payroll software in addition to $16/month to write 2 paychecks. Dex portal is easy to navigate. Overall it was greate. Pros Customer support and open to suggestions. Very friendly and readily available. Faster resolution of issues/support. Cons Website can be more user friendly, it is fine but always scope for improvement. Sometimes it flickers . Also, some mistakes in documentation(w.r.t. rest api integration). Most companies need to work on customer services response times, but we've never had an issue. Pros Customer Service is top notch. Equipment provided is easy to manage. Payment processing is simple, transaction fees are minimal, easy to operate, and reporting is easy to follow. Cons I don't feel I have any cons about Forte. If it wasn't our only software option for our needs I would have ditched the process 4 months ago. Pros It is the only tool that processes CAD ACH and integrates with Maxio Cons The sales process was VERY lengthy, the underwriting approval process was confusing and slow, the onboarding support was non-existent. I reached out to Forte on May 17. At this point on Oct 30 I still am not sure whether we have been set up on the system. We got an automated email from the processing dashboard but it has no functionality and no-one from the team has reached to let us know if our application was successful, or responded to my emails. Pros I process hundreds or ACH transactions each month; I appreciate how easy it is to schedule recurring transactions. The very few times I've had issues the team is there to help me solve my problems quickly and painlessly Cons My only real complaint is the amount of time it takes to clear an ACH transaction; in these days of instant money transfers it would be nice to have quicker ACH clearing without a big price premium.
