Its been very helpful. We are able to easily collaborate without clients and all information sits in a centralized space.

### "All the Right Features But Put Together the Wrong Way"

Pros

Avaza is great because it centralizes almost all the functions you need on one platform. I used it working as a freelancer for a client and it was useful because I was able to share files, track my hours, and collaborate/message (not instant message though) with the other freelancers.

Cons

While it has all the features you need, they didn't do a great job of putting it all together. It has a big learning curve and a lot of the feature interfaces/processes are extremely unintuitive. Also, the lack of instant messaging is a bit of con as well.

good for office manager to get the over look of the project and control the timing with stuff are much easier.

Pros

very easy to use and have most of the function we need for design company. we just start using this one as free software for try out, but we believe will upgrade the account for more function.

Cons

customer support can be bit better. scheduled a meeting on line and no show from Avaza. we have to rescheduled again... see how it is going this time.

Hi Tong, Clarification regarding your demo that was scheduled on September 19, 2017. :) The team member scheduled to take that call waited online for 15 minutes before logging off. If you signed on after that time, it would have seemed like no one was online. The reason we cap the waiting time at 15 minutes is because it is halfway through the scheduled 30 minute call time. An email is sent to each user that doesn't show up for the call, and was sent to you the following morning, asking you to reschedule. The tool provides great flexibility and really adapts to the team's needs. The timesheet and expense management features are really beneficial in Avaza and the ease of accessing all the data is really great.

Cons

A chat feature could be added to enhance the product.

Time and cost savings.

Pros

We were using Workflowmax for time tracking and invoicing, and Freedcamp for project management as Workflowmax simply didn't work well (or at least not how we wanted to work) for project management and communication. We've successfully replaced the two systems with Avaza, saving us money and streamlining the business. No more flicking between two systems.

I am enjoying the reporting section, creating and saving new reports along with the email integration is pretty handy!

Pros

I really enjoyed how simple it was to import our project and timesheet data into Avaza.

Cons

I don't like how there is not an easy way to edit multiple projects once they're imported into Avaza. Everything has to be done manually.

We have several staff using Avaza to work on projects for multiple clients. All of our clients require in-house approval of timesheets before they will approve invoices. Avaza makes this process easy.

Pros

Avaza was the only SaaS timesheeting software we found which made client approval of timesheets and obvious and easy to use feature. From initial sign-up to a working config using client approval took minutes.

Cons

No obvious built-in system to print or email PDFs of timesheets. Using the browser's built-in print function results in a messy PDF.

Pros

The invoicing system. I used many, and this one has by far the best templates and tracking abilities. Very easy to use. Also like the ability to create Gantt charts for project timelines; which is very useful when submitting invoices.

Cons

Would like if you could save as you are drafting the invoice without having to go back into edit mode each time. Also the ability to add bullets in the description section .

Pros

I really like the project timer. It makes it easy to track time without having to first select a client. When you stop the timer you are able to assign it to a client and task.

Cons

It would be nice if you could add tasks straight from the timer, but the inability to do so is not a dealbreaker.

I am the General Manager of a developing business in Lima, Peru and we have now been using the AVAZA time and expenses recording system for the last 9 months. Both myself and my team have found that this system is extremely user friendly and easy to use. From a managerial perspective, this system has improved the efficiency of our time and expenses recording, as well as the generation of key reports and monthly invoices issued to clients. The system and the reports available have the opportunity to be developed further and the AVAZA team have been excellent in taking on board our feedback and personalising the system in accordance with our needs. Overall, I would highly recommend this system and support team to any small to medium sized business!

Pros

Ease of use, the availability of management reports and the efficiency of invoice generating & tracking.

Cons

Some reports can be improved or developed, but the AVAZA are supportive of assisting with the same!

Pros

The customer support team spent 1 hour per day for a week to assure me that I have all the necessary information I need before I paid for a subscription.

Cons

Lack of real-time chat feature. My team still needs Slack or other communication tools. However, the dev team has promised to discuss the possibility of adding this feature.

I am a new user on AVAZA but have had experienced using other similar tools. I feel the simple and easy to understand design of its UI makes it a key selling point. I like the real-time timer feature that makes time time recording very close to actual.

Cons

It is hard to pin point a specific area on what I don't like about the app. But to nit-pick, I would like to have some feature to personalised the UI.

Pros

The value for money. Easy to set up and get running quickly. Customer support has been quick to answer and respond.

Cons

Wish it had better calendar like time tracking. We spend most of our time tracking in a day view which is less than efficient. Difficulty in managing projects from the time view: adding tasks, updating project details, etc.

This allows you to view all projects/categories and tasks you have tracked time for in a certain week, and add more time or make changes. - Most of the difficulty you are facing in managing projects from Timesheets module is by design, because these changes can only be made by Project Managers and Admin users. - We are hoping to add an option to add a task from within the Timesheet popup itself, and also a calendar view for your projects. Our team use to manage client tasks via email. Just to know where any project was at use to be nightmare. With Avaza we create separate projects for each client engagement and tasks can be accessed centrally. With Avaza as not the case with other CRM/Project management tools is the all-inclusive functionality. Avaza has project reporting and the ability to use the timer to record work done on tasks and projects. This rolls up into the timesheet which is a very useful function and many of the other CRM's do not have the timer-Timesheet functionality. Great feature!

I manage multiple year-long grant funded projects and I needed a method for managing the various tasks and deadlines throughout the grant year. I was also looking for something to help me keep track of long-term goals for our organization and make sure we are meeting benchmarks along the way. I looked at dozens of software options, but Avaza was the only one I found with a free version that would allow me to view my tasks in a simple list format as well as in a long term gantt chart. There are many other features that I am not fully implementing (quotes, expenses, invoicing, inventory, etc) but I do use the timesheet function to log the amount of time I spend on tasks. I am currently the only user with my organization so the 5 project limit (with the free version) is enough to meet my needs. I have only been using the software for a couple weeks, but so far I am really enjoying it! I especially love that I can see a visual representation of my projects in the gantt chart. I can't wait to print off a PDF for my boss!

Very quick to get up and running. We have been able to consolidate the use of three individual tools into one, which has saved us time and enabled us to be more efficient.

Pros

Unlike the vast majority of other tools we've tried, (at least 10 or more!), Avaza ticks all the boxes for us between project & resource management, and at a competitive price point. Literally all project management tools totally miss the trick of including resource management, which is such a critical part.

Cons

My advice would be to tidy-up the pricing model a bit. It's a little confusing having to add-on users for different license grades. One price per user/month or one block price for a subscription including a block of users for all grades would be simpler.

### "All in one approach of Avaza rocks"

The platform is great as it combines PM with finance, but it has only two payment options: Paypal and Stripe. It explains this from the beginning. Generally this isn't an issue, but in this day and age, the risk of using this platform lies with only having PayPal and Stripe as payment processors and here's why. Paypal will freeze even business accounts if the sums are larger than what's federally permitted: $2,500 per day; $25K per month; or $9,999 per year; at any time. A sustainable company will beat that any day which is why PayPal is the worst payment processor service in history. In some cases PayPal will freeze accounts just for verification and there's no regard as to the recovery if someone simply doesn't agree with the paperwork --- understand. Don't confuse convenience with risk.

More third party integrations would be great.

Less overwhelm when trying to manage multiple projects and tasks.

Pros

The design of the task lists, and tagging has helped me to manage my tasks a lot easier than other project management software which can be overwhelming and chaotic. The invoicing has great customisation. Also the ability to view tasks in a list, Kanban or Gantt Chart layout is a great feature.

Cons

It is more project based rather than task based, so all tasks must have a project. Within those projects you have sections which are great but there's no where to archive or delete the sections once you've completed tasks within them. The intentions of projects of course are meant to be over a finite period of time, however I like to use programs like this for internal tasks and client work that is one-off tasks as well as projects. So for my requirements I do have to work around the restrictions of the projects a little.
