Project tracking is brilliant, easy to log expenses, it's super cheap, great interface. We also had talks with customer service in development and they were very helpful. Cons The one minor thing is you can't change the word 'billable' to chargeable, it's just a UK preference within our company. It reduces the need for multiple platforms, especially in regards to invoicing, tracking and paying staff and project management. Pros I run cross channel marketing campaigns for my clients, the gantt chart functionality is superior to other tools I have tried. Particularly the ability to set task dependencies and auto schedule groups of tasks when something runs over. Cons I'm still learning about the reporting options, however I haven't yet worked out how to set up a dashboard that provides a snapshot of all of my projects/business activity on one screen. Though I believe I have more to explore here. So many products are geared towards specific industry and I am able to customize this. It's great for invoicing. Cons The phone app is not intuitive as the app on the computer. It allows our company a streamline approach instead of the cumbersome way that we used to utilize Quickbooks. It costs more, is too cumbersome, the user interface isn't appealing, and getting the data you need to be exported into easily readable reports takes too long. Avaza is solving all of these issues for our team. Pros The user interface is appealing to work with and it is pretty easy to navigate. The support team was very helpful in answering questions and helping me learn how to make the most of the software. All in one place My clients have access to their projects and documentation all the time, no need to ask for anything Response to features requests is super fast Tons of great reports, and you can pre-configure them for your eficiency reasonable price for what all I get out of it. Cons Does not update realtime, no themes, and boring ui. Maybe a more robust accounting functionality, but hey, the financial to run the business is awesome. Pros Avaza is flexible both in terms of features, as well as the two different user license seat types (love that). Also, the support is \*excellent\* and they are open about their feature roadmap, which is important to us. As a growing team, we see this as the single best option we have come across. Cons Like any feature-rich tool, I feel like it's going to take a while to understand how to use Avaza "properly", i.e., to its full potential. A set of videos showing how to use \*all\* of the features would be a great help here (I know this is on their roadmap). But they are great with other support, well above the norm. Web based solution, no need for additional software. Time can be entered both in minutes and as decimal parts of an hour. Avaza helped me organize my various to-do lists for the different projects. Additionally, the export feature allows me to output these lists to excel. From excel, I stick them into powerpoint/keynote and it's taken care of writing my "Methods" slides, as well!
