Cons

There is one feature I have been requesting based on how I track my hours specifically with my business, they have been so helpful with taking this to higher up team to see if there are any options.

I'm a business consultant who has used, recommended and implemented numerous applications in my career. When I began to look at billing applications for my own company, I probably looked at and compared a half dozen applications. Avaza stood out from the beginning and I have no regrets about selecting Avaza for my company.

Pros

Quick Set-up Easy time tracking for consultants Easy customer email invoicing Great Reports Project planning and set-up Great customization that allows our company to brand all customer transactions

Cons

The only improvement I would suggest is the ability to add balance forward invoicing so clients can see past due balances. Currently this is done by attaching a report, but that defeats the benefit of the easy email oriented customer invoicing.

### "Great for staying on task"

Pros

I love that I can track my time in 5 minute increments. This helps me stay on task and better keep track of my time. I also love how easy it is to track what projects are being worked on and how easy mistakes can be fixed. If I forget to change tasks, I can always go back. Love it!

Cons

The only complaint of mine is importing the data can be cumbersome.

Cons

User Interface is old and laggy. They need to upgrade there app for iOS devices. It hangs up a lot.

I like being able to have the option to view my tasks in list view or in board form, it has allowed me to tailor my workflow to my preferences.

Pros

I like that I can drag and drop attachments directly into tasks which makes it easy to collaborate and share information with my team.

Cons

Well at first it may take a little time and effort to get used to and find all the features and options available.

Pros

Product is easy to learn and use. Functionality sufficient for project-driven business that tracks hours and budget at the project level.

Cons

Would prefer to set "favorites" that appear week to week rather than only the option to copy previous weeks. It can get a little tedious with multiple projects (and tasks within projects) as well as internal activities that are intermittent.

Pros

As a freelancer, I typically have to log my own hours which entails me typing out crude hourly logs of the jobs that I'm on. Also typically ends up with me rounding off the hours worked. Avaza makes it insanely easy for me to just click a start and stop for my hours and it logs it properly to the minute.

Cons

In my experience, the software operates out of a web browser which wasn't entirely ideal for me but hardly a huge issue. There may well be a desktop app for it but I don't know about one.

We use this for contact management, contractor management, project management, and are looking at it for time and expense tracking as well. We may leverage the invoicing capabilities in the future.

Pros

Easy to install on tablets and phones; web version is full functioned. The Gantt charts by resource are so helpful for scheduling resources! It is a great all around app that is very easy to use.

Cons

Project dependencies between tasks is not as robust as other solutions. Mobile app on the Apple App store has not been updated in a couple of years (that said, it works and supports the common functionality). Gantt view for resource management not available on mobile apps.

I was searching for a project management software and combed through several of them to see which one best fit my needs and landed on Avaza. It had everything I needed. The ability to create projects for my clients, send them invoices, upload documents, communicate with my clients on specific tasks and much more.

Pros

The best feature is that it is very user friendly, great user interface. I needed something that would be easy for my clients to use more than anything and it gave me that.

Cons

There are no any cons that I can think of at this time. The only thing missing is the ability to actually create a proposal document that my clients could review, sign electronically and pay. Avaza has a quote or estimate feature which is really awesome but if I could also get those features I wouldn't have to use any other products such as Adobe Sign. Overall, the best online project management tool out there - hands down!!

Better ways to share a project between developer and clients. A greater overview of where we are in the project. And its easy to add new task on the fly i.e. at a meeting since you can just push return and a the task gets saved, new task is ready to filled

Pros

Its simple and fast, and helps a lot in the daily workflow. Each task has a lot of posibillities and even commenst can have attachments. So while working on an assignment, others can comment.

Cons

Since comments on tasks works great, and its part of the flow, its unfortunate, that it doesn't auto update the page, so new comments will pop in. You have to refresh the entire page to see IF a new comments has arrived

Extremely easy to use. I logged in and started using the application. And in about 5 minutes, I had submitted my first time sheet which had all the relevant details.

Cons

Ability to submit previous week's timesheet for approval. Not sure if that is a problem or I am not doing something right.

Pros

I really like the fact that you can find everything you need in one place. It's help me a lot to organize my time and save time as well. I would definitely recommend Avaza. I tried 5 different platforms in the past few weeks and thats the one that fulfill my needs.

Cons

The only thing that I would like to have an upgrade on is the task management. It would be nice if you can save your time on a task and the task would become "complete" by itself. Sometimes, I look at all my tasks and I'm not always sure if it's done or not. I'm sure Avaza will do something for that.

LiquidPlanner is a very good platform for project management, but it's very expensive for a freelancer lime me. I think the user experience is better on Avaza.

Avaza hits the mark as a one stop shop for my IT consulting business when it comes to task management, invoicing and timesheets. The software is simple to use yet effective, providing everything we need in task management, timesheets, expenses and invoicing. It's easy to set up a new project, create contacts and invite new users to collaborate on project tasks without the complexity or training requirements of other task management apps. The simplicity of the timesheet interface does not compromise on functionality - it is easy to keep track of time by client, by project and is accessible on the mobile app too. I highly recommend this app for consulting firms!

Pros

I like the sociability features in it - you can assign tasks, but also start communication with the team, assign follower to tasks and so n. also, i realy loved the unity in pages. one you learned how things are and where to search for the button you need- it will be the same in the next module or item in the menu third- love the report section - easy to navigate, easy to select the one report you need - again - all filters are the same position in every report - easy to find your way around last - great customer report within the software- within 5 minutes you can chat with someone for help or support. no need to wrap your head around google. great.

Cons

some features are still missing- in exporting and working on projects offline. Avaza support export and import of projects and tasks, but with limitation - you can't edit existing tasks via csv, so if you looking for bulk editing- no way.

It really helps connecting with the team using the chat feature as well as being able to modify and edit the Tasks themselves from any end.

Cons

It is sometimes not very intuitive in how to use it and you need to move around a lot in order to take advantage of the features, such as attaching files AFTER you already created a task.

More structure to our organisation.

Pros

Avaza's greatest strength is its web interface which is simple and elegant, and easy to navigate. It has most of the features you could want from this kind of software, without being bogged down with too many options and a long setup or learning curve. It would be most suitable for a small organisation. Furthermore, it is continually developing and we will likely see more functionality and upgrades as time goes on.

Cons

It can be a little inflexible in what it allows you to do, or to get away with. For example when setting up projects or allocating time entries to them, there are too many boxes that must be filled in - in particular the time entry section could be more efficient and intuitive. But these are minor niggles.

I took the free version out for a spin during a project with a small team and we found it incredibly easy and useful. But it may not make the cut for bigger projects where you need more advanced features to keep everything organized.

Pros

Avaza is a simple and sweet version of bigger project management tools. It has a clean layout and all the right features for time tracking, invoicing, and staying on top of tasks. It's 100% mobile friendly and is flexible in terms of adding time entries manually or recording your hours in real-time. Plus, you can enter time estimates get reports based off what you estimated and what you actually spent. Invoicing integrates with your tracked time, which is both useful and time-saving. I also like the ability to bring clients on board so they can add tasks, approve estimates, and keep an eye on how things are progressing.

Cons

More customization is always welcome particularly to make time reports and invoices look in line with our branding.

Overall, Avaza is the best project management software I've used and at a fair/reasonable price.

Pros

For the web design side of my business, this software is absolutely amazing! It's easy to use and literally I am able to manage projects from start to finish within the app, including invoicing my clients. I also like the fact that I am able to track my time. The notifications are also on point.

Cons

Honestly, I only wish they had a contracts feature within the software so I can truly keep everything for my clients in one place. But it's not really a deal breaker - because it has everything else I need.

Avaza is an overall good project software depending on the kind of projects you are dealing with.

Pros

Avaza is a great software for coordinating different activities with a team, you can provide deadlines and specific information for each task

Cons

If you are the project manager and share the software with other project managers there is no filter to see only your projects (only your tasks), also you can't stack deadlines that are dependable on other tasks to be finished. Also, the projects lack a "description" feature for all to see Those are some of the features I find missing on the version I have.

Easy to jump right in and use without spending a lot of time learning to app.

Cons

It can be a little cumbersome to get quick data like time spent on a task/project at a glance – although that information is available with their highly customizable reports.
