### "Amazing product, highly recommended to entrepreneurs building an MVP"

November 18, 2024

10/10 Webflow transformed my view of what can be built with a web development platform. I never thought I could build a SaaS enabled marketplace on this platform but I was able to. Highly recommend to anyone!

Pros

Amazing speed, performance, SEO capabilities, features to build complicated websites, animations and ease of use

Cons

Pricing, as someone living in india the $30 a month is a bit high, but im happy to pay this amount

### "The only web hosting platform I use for my clients."

October 23, 2025

5.0

I host my website and all my client's websites on Webflow. (Independent medical practices) I think it's going to become the new industry standard, especially because it integrates so well with Figma and Relume. With the AI features they are building out, it will become easier to edit overall, too.

Pros

The customization is unmatched. I'm not locked into templates. I don't have to tell my clients no. And you can tell the visual quality between Webflow and early every other web platform.

Cons

It is definitely a developers platform. It's easy to break if you don't know what you're doing. I don't think it's a platform for ecommerce.

### "Absolutely Atrocious"

October 5, 2025

1.0

There is nothing flow about Webflow. It is a complete nightmare. Clearly there is something fundamentally wrong.

Pros

I do not like anything about Webflow. It has been insanely hard to use from day one. I am looking at alternatives.

Cons

Terrible font interface. Terrible pricing system. Tedious design environment that preserves convoluted web paradigms instead of simplifying them. Terrible localization. Terrible developer program. Terrible publishing system. Terrible Design previews. Terrible CMS item editing experience. Terrible favicon system for years. Terrible DNS system. Terrible backup-and-restore system. Terrible servers. Terrible approach to CMS population. Not enough templates. Terrible template management. No worthwhile AI available yet. I could go on for hours. I cannot stand Webflow.

### "A fantastic software for designers to build professional websites"

March 2, 2026

5.0

It's an easy software to recommend to other design professionals. Websites I've built using this software perform well and load quickly.

Pros

The design possibilities with Webflow feel endless compared to other website visual builders. I like how much flexibility there is with the animations and effects you can add.

Cons

The pricing is higher compared to other website visual builders. Not saying it's priced too high, but it is an important factor to consider.

### "Affordable and flexible content management system for a variety of website types"

January 14, 2025

4.0

I wanted to combine a whole series of services to develop a streaming fitness site with no/low-code. I was able to use a template, customise it, and add scripts from these various services to do this VERY quickly and at super low cost. This speaks to how flexible Webflow is, particularly it's custom CMS/database functionality. It was easy to use services like memberspace to put content behind a paywall so members could access differing amounts of content based on their membership level and since then Webflow have developed their own built in membership functionality. The site was designed tested and live within 6-weeks and I'm not a designer or developer - just have generalist digital skills.

Pros

Offers a way to design, test, stage and publish a site without having to install anything and with scalable costs. Everything is backed up and easily rolled-back to earlier versions. Elements can be managed globally and custom code (allowing integration of third-party services) is easily added.

Cons

Some niche features and issues are discussed on the support forum but don't have sufficient traction to result in fixes or improvements.

### "Design Flexibility and user-friendly"

May 29, 2025

As a service-based business, we’re very happy with what Webflow offers. The design flexibility allowed us to elevate our brand identity and create a user-friendly, design-led website.

Pros

Gives control over layouts and design features, wasy to manage and create the design we want to implement. Performs well on Google and it's SEO friendly. Its built-in CMS allows us to manage blogs case-studies and update them regularly.

Cons

Webflow’s e-commerce features are relatively basic compared to platforms like Shopify, especially in areas such as inventory management and product bundles, variations etc.

I wanted to build a custon websiite. I haven't been in the industry for 10 years. I went trough one (short) course on Udemy and built EXACTLY what i need

Pros

Low learning curve. Good site performance. Brilliant "cheap" interactions. Tons of integrations. Professionally looking UI

Cons

### "My Webflow Honest Review"

October 26, 2024

5.0

As a Webflow Designer, I can say my experience with Webflow is nothing short of amazing, being able to build custom website without writing complex code is a game changer. Webflow has given me the opportunity to earn in another currency, and connect with new people.

Pros

What I love about Webflow the most is its CMS functionality. I can style one of page and the rest of the other pages takes the same layout, It speeds up my work.

Cons

My least liked feature about Webflow is the pricing, It can get really expensive as you scale. I wish they could look more into the monthly hosting fee. Don't get me wrong, they are a solid company and they deserve it, but we as designers in a third world country need a regional pricing plan. Well just my opinion.

Switched from

Wordpress is a solid development platform, but it was too buggy and even the most simplest feature will need you to buy a plugin, sometime you don't even remember to update the plugin, the layout was just everywhere, not clean it was too messy.

### "Webflow is the Future of Website Design"

April 27, 2022

4.0

Webflow has been an incredible experience for me. I've built half a dozen websites in Webflow with plans for more. I can't recommend this platform enough!

Pros

Webflow is a solid website design platform. Every site I've built on Webflow has been incredibly fast. I attest this to the fact that when you drag and drop the widgets (text blocks, headings, sections, images, etc.) into the design that the right panel is helping you configure all of the CSS in a way that actually helps you \[secretly\] understand CSS better while making it SUPER easy to do. Generally, you won't have to worry about third-party plugins or anything like that with a Webflow site like you would with WordPress. That's because you can't "install" a plugin on Webflow the way that you would with WordPress. You can add custom code to the site and integrate third-party tools that way, but depending on your level of comfort with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, you may not ever need a third-party tool with Webflow.

Cons

The widgets that you can add are very basic. I understand the point of this; they're giving you basic building blocks of a website in a sense. It's up to your creativity and skill to be able to design a site that looks great. This does make it harder for people coming from WordPress page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder, Oxygen, etc., when you open Webflow's Designer for the first time and feel like all of the options you had in the past are missing. Knowing that you \*can\* build something as complex using these basic building blocks can be overwhelming when you aren't used to doing it this way, but looking through the templates and even purchasing a premium Webflow template can often get you all of the building blocks you were looking for.

Reason for choosing Webflow

As a WordPress web designer, I always had a negative opinion of Wix and SquareSpace. I don't really have a good reason for it other than the fact that all WordPress designers diss these other tools. I recently tried Wix out and it's... fine I guess. Wix Editor X definitely has a long way to go before it can hold a candle to Webflow. Trying out SquareSpace just isn't high on my to-do list.

### "Incredible Creativity Flexibility And Potential"

April 22, 2021

5.0

My overall experience with Webflow has been nothing short of spectacular. The seamless integration of a no-code interface and the way Webflow writes code in the background is honestly a game changer for me. As a result of my limited coding ability, I was over-reliant on WordPress themes in the past but I would always need additional plugins to bring my ideas to life. As such my website would become increasingly bloated. Not having to worry about any of these issues is truly liberating and I honestly couldn't be happier with my decision to transition to Webflow.

Pros

Webflow provides an incredible no-code user experience that has completely elevated my workflow! Everything is incredible well designed and implemented - from the WYSIWYG editor, to the fantastic Webflow University and the seamless deployment of code as you bring your website to life. Creating, maintaining and evolving my website/blog has never been more enjoyable and I finally feel as though I have total creative freedom! I recommend Webflow unreservedly.

Cons

Having used Webflow for the better part of the year, I can honestly say that I don't have any major concerns with Webflow. There are many website developers who undoubtedly require deeper functionality but I've not run into any issues that have prevented me from realising the goals for my website. Webflow is a fantastic tool and I'm honestly excited to see how they continue to grow and evolve the platform.

### "The best website designer out there"

August 31, 2022

5.0

Webflow is a professional tool that I am very comfortable working with. I use it practically every day with pleasure.

Pros

Webflow is the best solution for designers who want to build high-level web experiences without the support of a development team. The design tool is the most advanced in the industry, and although it has a somewhat steep learning curve at first, it offers great freedom in design choices. The excellent design tool is accompanied by an integrated hosting solution with excellent performance and a robust CMS.

Cons

Although the potential and flexibility of the platform are very high, there are some situations in which one finds oneself having to rely on third-party solutions to turn around the shortcomings of the tool. Developing and deploying new features isn't particularly fast. In some usage scenarios, the costs are too high. Especially eCommerce solutions are excessively expensive for what they offer. Although there is an intention, I have not yet had the chance to offer my customers a Webflow eCommerce solution because it is too expensive.

### "Not Soc-2 Compliant out of the box / Does not conform to industry standards for secure websites"

February 10, 2024

1.0

False advertising. They sold us a secure website hosting platform and we learned only after doing all the work to build our website on their platform (WEEKS OF WORK) that we had to pay 49x the original price quoted in order to be permitted to add standard security headers required to make our site secure and sco-2 compliant.

Pros

Once we got our site set up, updating text was incredibly quick and painless.

Cons

We have our site on webflow and are undergoing a soc-2 audit accreditation process for our company. We have hit a snag because soc-2 requirements state we need certain headers on our website but webflow is actually blocking us from being able to add the required headers. Their rationale is that we have to upgrade to "enterprise lite" for $15k annually in order to add the standard headers. For context, we added these headers to our product websites within minutes and achieved A+ ratings. Webflow is actually blocking us from being soc-2 compliant unless we shell out $15k additional every year for the ability to add "custom" headers -- what they call "custom" are industry standard headers that any soc-2 compliant website needs to have in place. Our website is a 9 page static website with just text. I would not say Webflow is secure or soc-2 compliant given this experience, I would call them "soc-2 optional" - and only an option if you pay 49x the regular price for a basic website.

### "Amazing Website Builder for Designers "

April 25, 2022

5.0

We're currently a small team working on a product and we're not in a position to hire professional web developers to work on our website. That's where Webflow came to our rescue. The learning curve was there but over time, the nimbleness of the product helped us a long way.

Pros

The features I loved about Webflow are: 1. The website builder is so easy to use. 2. The guided demo when you get in the first time is top-notch. It got me acquainted with the interface exceptionally fast. 3. It has an easy to understand pricing plan. For someone who is new to websites, the plan allows you to clearly understand how pricing works. 4. The template library and component cloning features are majestically good. We've been able to deploy complex animations and components simply by cloning them through other templates. 5. Lastly, Webflow has an amazing community that comes up with answers faster than their support team.

Cons

There isn't much to dislike but: 1. The customer support could be faster, my empathetic and responsive. 2. If they could come up with a better way to optimise sites for mobile, it would be a gamechanger.

### "My work portfolio..."

October 15, 2023

5.0

I enjoyed using webflow for 3 years, in the end I found another website that was closer to my needs and what I was looking for, but I will continue to recommend it to friends, clients or anyone who wants to start a business or show their work in an easy and fast way.

Pros

I made my portfolio with Webflow, because I like how you can make your own website, you don't need to know how to code, it's very easy, I never had any problems with it, I recommended it to many of my clients for branding, I really liked it. It has lots of resources that you can use in your own ways, you can add your own fonts, that was something I really wanted to have on the site. I like the fact that the free option gives you so many options and allows you to edit it to the max as much as you want to. It's a good site for the beginner as well as the professional.

Cons

This is my thing, but I just didn't like the fact that the name of my website was too long, at that time I didn't have much material, so I had no reason to pay for a domain, but other than that, I don't see anything negative, it's something that can be changed and that doesn't have to be a big inconvenience to have.

### "The top pick if you want to make professional-grade sites"

March 29, 2023

4.0

Due to an issue within the company, we were unable to effectively engage our target demographic, resulting in short attention spans on our social media platforms; however, with the help of Webflow's training and tools, we were able to effectively address this issue, resulting in high-quality, professionally designed websites. More audience engagement via our social networks means we can deliver service with a lively UI and polished finishing touches, making searching for our services a pleasurable and stress-free experience for our customers. Webflow's features have helped our marketing team become more efficient and effective.

Pros

Webflow's interface is one of our favorite parts of the platform because it's user-friendly and flexible for customization. We think the price of your service is quite manageable in comparison to the competition on the market, and this is due in large part to the fact that Webflow has quality support that is very attentive to providing possible solutions that are required, as well as providing super good training videos to learn more and more about the correct operation of each tool that Webflow has to offer.

Cons

Probably the only thing we don't like about the Webflow platform is how long it takes to publish the website once it's finished being built; additionally, it's worth noting that the platform has a somewhat steep learning curve; however, we're grateful that Webflow offers a completed where anyone can be trained and graduate with a professional level of expertise in the software.

I've mostly used Wordpress but was getting tired of the same 'ol, same 'ol, if you will. Websites were all starting to look the same, in other words... boring. I came across Webflow a couple months ago and let's just say, I'm in total love! I'm not quite a developer yet so having software like Webflow gives me the freedom and flexibility to still be creative and push out hyper-functional websites that actually work and look good. The code is super clean and export-able, sites are responsive - with the ability to manage/rearrange/save content for each device - and customization is top notch. Their video tutorials (and PixelGeek on YouTube - he's the coolest!) and knowledge center offer in-depth guidance and help, which is a blessing. I also appreciate the fact that I can host with Webflow as well. At this point in my career, I want everything as streamlined as possible and Webflow makes it easy and secure.

Cons

The free plan is limited but understandbly so. It's not for the faint of heart either. You have to want to learn a new method and process in order to make it work for you, especially if you're not much of a developer or deep digger (as I call it) of code. Their pricing, while very much worth it, needs an overhaul from their marketing department. It's difficult to understand what's needed. For instance, you need a Site plan as well as an Account plan, but that's not made very clear. I actually had to find the answer in their forum. For instance, if you want to host/create/manage 3 websites, you'll need 1 Account plan and 3 site plans.
