### "The future of website creation"

July 7, 2020

5.0

So far so good. Haven’t had the site live yet but the creation process is pretty straight forward.

Pros

How custom you can make your site. How fast it loads. How professional it looks. Two clean way to edit your site

Cons

Has a learning curve but an AMAZING tutorial. I swear the tutorial is one of the best I’ve seen in the tech business. They are funny but yet informative. Usually you dread watching those videos but man they are awesome.

### "Superb for visual Development, and easy animations"

Pros

Webflow got me excited about building websites every day.

Cons

Collaboration seems to be a weak point of the tool at the moment, so larger teams might find it difficult to work together on the same projects.

### "My Business Runs on Webflow"

July 29, 2019

Pros

Webflow is literally the tool that I use most in my business. I use it every single day, and it is an integral part of what I do. The team at webflow is amazing, and they truly care about making the web a better place. The software is easy to use,and extremely powerful.

Cons

There are some missing features, and it does take a while for the webflow team to get around to implementing them.

### "Easy to use website development platform!"

June 13, 2022

5.0

Pros

Webflow is really an amazing tool which made my work a lot easier while developing the website. It is very easy to use. It provides a wide range to free templates and a tons of free images that we can use. A non-technical person can also create and develop with for there own by using this software.

Cons

The only drawback using this tool is that they have minimal support with SEO part. They should focus more on the SEO part too.

### "Deploy instantly and easily with the integrated CMS"

April 17, 2020

4.0

Good service, it serves a good niche of fast and reliable design, you can also use it to work with a client in live sessions

Pros

When you need an easy exit and have time issues, but still need to look professional use webflow. As the design you can make is unique and deployment in a hostable version is very easy and fast. Love all the design layers and good stability.

Cons

Coding or complex programs should be handled more carefully and with full control over hosting and designm but still a very good alternative to fast and good.

### "A webpage generator done right"

November 6, 2018

5.0

Webflow is great, is so good that sometimes when doing projects using the tool feels like cheating. The speed on development that it provides, plus the independence of execution makes this a great tool for workplaces where the workforce might not be so big to design and execute projects fast.

Pros

Webflow is basically photoshop in steroids to put it in a way. The tool is easy to use and only demands little to none web development basic knowledge, the biggest plus is that the code produced by the tool is clean and not full of clutter as other similar tools.

Cons

Not much. The only thing is that since is a fairly new tool, some of the functionality you might be looking for or that can only be achieved by custom development might not be available.

### "Terrible customer support."

November 6, 2020

1.0

No not recommend for important commercial websites. It's cheap, and their support is cheap. If something goes wrong, their support is absent and you're stuck building new site on a different platform.

Pros

Decent web publishing tool, good range of features.

Cons

3 days and multiple emails, my team has not successfully interacted with a human. The worst support I've experienced from any major software provider. Hard to cancel because your site is built on their platform, I guess that's why their support can be so bad?

### "A bit too complex for the average user"

January 4, 2023

5.0

Webflow is a great option if you have web design experience, otherwise you are likely to get frustrated with it's not-so-user-friendly setup.

Pros

Webflow is robust and has so many features! It helped us build and maintain a beautiful website and gave us lots of options for customization and branding.

Cons

We are a small business with a small team and unfortunately Webflow is too complex and complicated for us. While it has every feature you could dream of, it's very hard to navigate unless you know how to design a website. The Webflow University is helpful in some cases, but as someone with limited experience, I found more success in trial and error than using the online forum.

### "Template-y goodness"

February 4, 2024

5.0

Was able to build a complex and beautiful site with just 2 developers in a short amount of time. Very happy with the results.

Pros

Purchase beautiful templates, use them in seconds. I love the data-centric functionality and way that you can design content that is re-usuable and syncable across your site.

Cons

The cost is higher than other website builders, and it can be complicated to set up, but once you get it setup how you want it's golden!

### "Making website updates take hours instead of days"

May 21, 2021

5.0

Overall, I'm very happy with Webflow as it has all the features we need at an affordable price and allows us to make updates to our website in minutes or hours, not days like it did when our site was self hosted and hard coded.

Pros

The ability to use code where needed to add more custom elements to our website is really useful, especially inside posts. Collections allow us to use Webflow for our blog as well as the main marketing site. We can embed pretty much any third party content we want to including Calendly even scheduling, Intercom live chat, and more which helps us keep visitors on our website instead of sending them elsewhere.

Cons

It was a bit tricky to learn. There are a lot of moving parts and it's a very powerful tool, but this brings with it a lot of complexity. Someone probably needs to have some HTML/CSS experience to be able to effectively use Webflow in my opinion. If they don't have that experience, something like Weebly would probably be a better fit. However, the power and possibilites that Webflow provides us was well worth the learning curve.

### "Take your prototypes to a functional level"

September 23, 2020

5.0

I have been using this tool for years to create websites from scratch. You have all the tools in the same place to make an authentic piece of design from wireframe to live page. All the functionalities available inside Webflow would speed the productions of web pages for any purpose, from custom made corporate sites to marketing landing pages.

Pros

I like Webfow because it is the freedom of design translated to the web. You don't have to be a programmer to create a great website. I don't think there is something similar in the market. It is a well-rounded tool for designers and front end developers. You can create the most fantastic experience and, with some tweaks, even supercharge your site for more complex features. You have the CMS inside to make even better the production. The E-commerce functionality is a great plus.

Cons

I think there is no perfect tool for the purpose of designing without coding. Webflow is growing to the point where the learning curve takes some time to catch. Creating interactions can be tricky.

### "Webflow review"

May 24, 2022

4.0

Pros

Webflow is easy to use for beginners especially if you're starting out in it as a designer. Features are easily discoverable and templates have been provided to speed up your work process.

Cons

There are some limitations which sometimes makes it difficult to move around it. The rich text box image cannot be edited and a lighthouse can't be added to it.

### "Great tool for web"

January 12, 2019

5.0

Set of web pages by production or quality. WebFlow allows both options. In a matter of satisfied customers it allowed us to achieve great milestones. Fantastic tool

Pros

We liked WebFlow for its ease in creating rich websites of high quality and nice interfaces. From the application we can do almost everything in relation to the creation and maintenance of our websites for customers. It is a great advantage to be able to build from scratch with this powerful tool. You have different options to customize, enrich, expand and share your website. You can even rent a server for hosting. They take care of all that. In a more advanced way, you can create campaigns from WebFlow promoted by your website, you can create large and powerful (eye-catching) ads that take the web to another world in terms of viewing and downloading content. Websites with WebFlow are professional and elegant.

Cons

Difficult to handle in certain aspects, when the administrative panel and the guided tour in the application are brief, ease of use is achieved in a long time. However, once you learned to chew on the panel, the rest is pure imagination and creation.

### "Easy Website Creation Tool that allows complete customization."

February 20, 2021

5.0

Extremely positive. I've built a number of websites at this point, both for business and personal use, and they look so much better than anything on Squarespace and Wix.

Pros

The ability to create and complete customize a website pretty simply is the best part. I've used other "no-coding" website tools in the past and would get so frustrated because I wouldn't be able to edit key parts of the design with out diving into the muddy code. Webflow allows you to have all the customization you'd find if building your website from scratch without all the coding. As a designer, who can code but prefers not to, Webflow is my preferred spot for building any website.

Cons

Some of the tools are hard to find. I've accidentally clicked things in the past and spent hours figuring out where I need to click to fix things. Finding solutions is also difficult at times. The forums aren't as extensive as other softwares that I've used.

### "One of the most powerful CMS out in the market today"

August 19, 2021

5.0

Pros

I like how easy it is to get a working website up and running. The caveat being that you need some basic foundational knowledge around DOM structure.

Cons

I wish the product would be a bit more user friendly for folks who don't have ANY understanding of HTML & CSS. Marketing folks have a hard time adopting the platform.

### "The visual web design solution for your startup/business"

November 24, 2020

5.0

Coming from a typical CMS software for our website, Wordpress, the more visual approach of Webflow makes it a breeze to update our website.

Pros

As a Figma user, I like the way of working in a visual environment. To be able to do this for a website / blog is just great. The # of high quality templates available is also a big plus and made it very easy to finally update our website. We came from two Wordpress websites before and to start create a new version was always something left on the table, as it is too cumbersome to do. With Webflow I am sure keeping the website updated with what we do will be far easier than before.

Cons

Currently there are no real downsides. Sometimes I have a hard time fixing things as my html/css knowledge is rather limited, but this has little to do with Webflow itself. Figuring out how it works with their documentation at hand is easy to get past most obstacles.

Switched from

[WordPress](https://www.capterra.com/p/131687/WordPress/)

We have been pushing a new website update forward for months now given the big effort it requires with Wordpress, the tool we used before. Coming across a webflow advert, we immediately figured out that might be the solution for us no longer postponing an update. With success.

### "A great WYSIWYG but tied to proprietary CMS"

August 29, 2019

5.0

For the first time ever, a WYSIWYG web editor can produce good, clean, code, integrate with a solid CMS, and do most everything the majority of non-tech businesses will need it to do. However, in my opinion, the tradeoff of being tied to their ecosystem is just not worth it. If you believe fully in Webflow and are sure it will stick around and that it will never do anything you wouldn't do, then go for it. Otherwise, maybe use it just for prototyping, since as cool as the tool itself really is, you might not want to be married to it.

Pros

You can build really, really good websites with this software without touching code. It only eliminates the technical hurdle, of course -- Ideally, you are a designer yourself or are hiring one to use this tool. I think this is almost certainly the best WYSIWYG web builder that has ever been created.

Cons

The CMS is proprietary and will stop working if you stop paying them. You can export your code, but it doesn't come with the functioning CMS and you will lose all the dynamic aspects of your website in this process. This will result in either a costly re-build or simply downgrading your site to a static one if you ever decide to part ways with Webflow or they go out of business.

### "Webflow is a gamechanger for allowing marketing teams to control their website"

September 24, 2020

5.0

Overall I've had a fantastic experience with Webflow. It's allowed me to build webpages in the tenth of the time it has taken previously and I don't have to use any of my startup's engineering resources.

Pros

Webflow is a must-have for any marketing team. It is insanely easy to make great website experiences, easily update content, and build interactions that add polish to your website experience. I couldn't be a bigger fan. I expect to use Webflow for every marketing site in my career moving forward.

Cons

My number one complaint is on their pricing - it feels like they are nickel and dime-ing you to get the plan that you need. Additionally, the fact that you only get one admin account on the smaller plans is ridiculous, you should at least get 3.

### "Great concept but so buggy as to be unusable"

February 11, 2020

2.0

Great idea--potentially miles ahead of all its competition--but such a botched execution as to be unusable. I'm truly confused by how so many people can even use this software, let alone give it good reviews. Makes me suspicious of the authenticity of many of the reviews.

Pros

In concept it's light years ahead of most of the graphical web design platforms on the web. It's one of the only ones that isn't a complete joke. The Editor is not perfect--has some really annoying blind spots-- but is for the most part very nicely put together.

Cons

Absolutely the buggiest software of any kind I have ever used. Look forward to every other thing you try to do not working as it's supposed to and then investing 10 times the amount of time trying to figure out what it's doing and finding a way to work around it. Some bugs are critical, e.g. losing edits and data. Customer support will take your bug reports but even if the developers could fix half of them, there are so many it's like a boat with a hundred holes in it.

Reason for choosing Webflow

Almost everything else out there is crap.
