Pros Takes all the guess work out of coding, it is an intuitive package that allows web designers to concentrate more on the UI/UK portion of the design rather than the coding. I am very new to html, but have been in design for many years. WebFlow allows you to fully design, test and publish your site through them. A fantastic feature is that if you want to export the WebFlow generated html code, and have other people work on it - you can. Cons Really, cannot find any flaws yet. However, you cannot export all the features to all the items you may have entered - i.e. ecommerce elements for example, the html code for these cannot be exported. Review Source Taylor B. Pros Great simple UI that makes creating sites quick and easy but it has everything you need for complex dynamic feature rich websites. Pros Allows you to create very versatile, fast, and responsive websites. Cons Steep learning curve; but the tutorial videos were very helpful. It's so much easier to intuitive than some other drag&drop tool. Cons This tool is saving me so much time. I have nothing to complain about. Founder & CEO Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Pretty straightforward, hard to make advanced changes" January 9, 2020 4.0 Overall it was great, I did need to work with the developer to make some of the changes I wanted - there was less flexibility than other platforms, eg Wordpress, but I suppose that's part of why people like it. Pros You get a list of pages in all different categories on the site and can easily scroll through them to navigate. It made it easy to see all of the content on the site. Cons The collections was a little confusing - by opening the settings of a page within a collection I couldn't make changes to the fields, I could just choose SEO titles etc. to go for all the pages in that collection. To change each one individually, I had to look elsewhere. I just found it a little confusing. Another issue was that if I went a few days without opening the editor, the little arrow in the corner wouldn't come up and Id' be stuck. Whenever this happened, I went to the original email I received when opening the account and clicked on that link, then opened the site in a new tab and was able to log in. So I did and bring it to my account on Webflow. After half an hour I give up! The platform is too complicated. There's i a lot of clutter. Pros The no code approach that the creators of Webflow had built the platform around it. that what make me give it a try. Cons It's right that you don't have to be a programmer to use the platform. but that doesn't mean it is easy to use. It isn't. So there is a learning curve and it is so steep one. Alternatives considered [Wix](https://www.capterra.com/p/169007/Wix/) Switched from [Airtable](https://www.capterra.com/p/146652/Airtable/) the library of templates in the former. And cutting the development time by a lot, without sacrificing any details. It's just great! And if you have some knowledge of css and javascript you can pretty much achieve anuthing Pros Webflow is the perfect tool to create websites from scratch, without any code. It's really easy to use if you're a beginner, but also allows you a quite good level of customisation if you're used to working with it. And above all, it's so easy to create custom animations! Cons Since i create websites for a living, i often need to go back to Wordpress because of certain limitations which i can solve in 2 minutes with the right plugin on Wordpress but most of the time i can do what need to do and won't rely on Wordpress. The best part is how they let you export the code so you don't even need to purchase anything if you're only using it for one website. I would definitely come back to them even if I needed to pay. Cons The only problem I've had was how difficult it was for me to hear about Webflow. I feel like I had only ever heard of SquareSpace, WordPress, Weebly, etc. and Webflow has been my favorite when it comes to website building. July 3, 2018 5.0 I was able to see my designs coded and fix any errors on time. Pros I like the UI, which is smilar to Ps, it faciltated me, when I started. There is also a free crash course - how to use it, which is extremely helpful. I can create the design and se it working, without waiting to be coded. Or I can create the entire design in the app!
