Overall though I am slowly learning how to use the product and how to efficiently use it that will help myself and team succeed.

Pros

Since I just started using the product what I like most is that you can easily create campaigns that you can connect to marketing tools like Marketo, which is extremely helpful for my Demand Generation team. This will help review leads and what is coming in for each campaign we are running.

Cons

It is honestly not the easiest product to learn if you have never used it before. The help center and support don't give beginners that proper tools to hop into the product and use quickly.

Pros

The system is widely used and employees can take their understanding of the system to multiple future employees

The software takes some time getting used to and understanding all of the features, as is the case with most CRM systems.

Very comprehensive and equiped for large scale operations. The team was very helpful during deployment and we have more functionality than we can use.

Cons

Price is always a down side but the post purchase support and functionality more than makes up for that.

In our company (although it is small), very important is the operational communication between office and remote workers, quick answers to customers. All this helps to establish SalesForce. Another advantage of software is the ability to use it both on working computers and on mobile devices.

Cons

Even the minimum tariff plan for SalesForce can be an unbearable financial burden for small businesses that are forced to save every dollar.

Pros

This is a pretty powerful CRM. I think the best part is the dashboards. Sales folks typically like to see charts/graphs representing what they are doing compared to others. You can really setup some great dashboards in Salesforce.

Cons

It was a little on the expensive side. It wouldn't make sense for a smaller company to use this, unless they were exploding with growth.

This software has great potential as a platform for CRM, but there is a major learning curve.

Pros

I liked all of the different features available through this software. It was very easy to import data and then organize it in different ways. I was able to create lists of leads, contacts, accounts, etc.

Cons

It was hard to learn how to use this software. It took a long time for me to be able to complete many tasks, the only easy part was importing data. I also had a hard time working with a team through Salesforce. I created a list on my end, but then my teammate was unable to view the same thing.

Overall positive, it does the job in terms of entering time cards and allows me to attach notes where necessary. No complaints, it is an easy and effective software to use.

Pros

I use the Financial Force portion of Salesforce for time entry to determine billable and non-billable hours. It is efficient and effective to assign hours to each day and assign notes where necessary.

Cons

The user interface could be nicer. It is very plain and it could be redesigned to have a slightly better user experience.

Service Cloud allows us to track case management with our customers in a seamless way that lets us stay connected to the rest of our sales data.

Pros

Service Cloud is a great offering from Salesforce that lets you keep in close communication with your customers about their experience and problems. The fact that you can customize Service Cloud to be anything you need it to be pushes it far above and beyond other competing products.

Cons

Of course like with all other Salesforce tools there is a high learning curve and you need to have professionals designing and customizing the system but it is well worth it.

For sales management and marketing, we use the online SalesForce system. The service allows you to create detailed reports and send notifications to customers. There is a built-in storage for files. You can organize email-list.

Cons

The online tool SalesForce does not allow you to work with documents in your account. There is no possibility to create two or more sales funnels. No SLA control function.

Pros

We use Desk in our customer service department and it is great for having many users in the same inbox at once. It pulls in our emails from several different accounts and even chat transcripts and facebook messages so we have everything in one place. Very happy!

Cons

Resolving many emails at once can be slow and every once in a while forwarding doesn't work, but these are usually quickly resolved!

I knew it existed but I never used it. If I ever had a problem I always had our own tech support resolve the problem.

Pros

I used this software a little while when I was in sales. I liked the task list the most, it was easy to create and being able to attach the particular individual's profile that you plan to call to the task. It helped you to easily organize your work load.

Cons

Some parts of the software felt a little clunky, it needed some updates too improve the user experience/functionality. It was nothing major, I still was able to do what I needed to do on the program.

Pros

The Software is easy to use and very intuitive. It improves the performance of our Customer Service Agents and is rich in features with the ability to customize it to our needs. The Desk.com staff are professional, and respond to support cases quickly. There is a sense of fun behind each interaction that we have with their employees.

Cons

There are a few areas of the software that could do with the improvement. The areas that are important to us are resolution SLAs and the ability to subtract the time a case has been in the customer's hands. This is not easy to implement, but with the help from the technical resources, we are nearing a solution for this. Also, we have a number of customers that share cases. This is not easy to handle from the portal, because the company admins for a company have read only access so they are not able to add their own comments and they cannot view/download case attachments.
