Pros That we connect to database using SSH and all other major data sources. Easy to set new dashboards up and share with team. Cons Lacking customisation and not good to get complex dashboards on it. Depending on size of dashboard and connected/calculated data sources sometimes Grow is crashing and reports can not be accessed or updated. Annoying that you cant index headers for reports from database. The export function is helpful. The charts are easy to read Cons If you want to drill down in the chart using the legend, you have to unclick all the ones you don't want. They need functionality to quickly just select the one you want. It creates a simple dashboard that makes viewing the data easy and clear. Anytime I've had a need, customer service is very helpful. Cons I would like to see Facebook and Shopify specific pre-made templates. Maybe gather the top 10 dashboards most eccommerce and Facebook marketing owners want to see and then make an attractive dashboard that you can just plug n play. June 19, 2017 5.0 Grow allows my entire agency and all of our clients to see the metrics that matter most. In turn, we are able to make adjustments 10x faster than when we had to manually pull reports and create visuals on a weekly/monthly basis. Pros I have been using Grow for over a year now and I am in it every day. When initially researching realtime dashboard systems I was drawn to Grow because it offered all of the integrations I needed as a digital marketer. It was extremly easy to learn how to setup the metrics and to integrate multiple data sources such as advertising spend versus customer data from Salesforce. The recently added a variety of new capabilities to allow for the user to modify the data present using filters which has come in very handy when presenting to clients. Cons The only drawback I can think of is I would like to have more flexibility with customizing the visuals with the size of the fonts and having a few more options with the types of charts. Cons Unfortunatley, the sale of value did not live up to its expectations. And the lact of support, customer service, and general follow-up was a disappointment. We had high hopes but with no support beyond the rushed through crash course initial training, we were left in a search. It is very easy to analyze trends, and make adjustments to the business in real time. It is also nice that you can switch between time frames easily to change up how much data to include. Pros I was able to figure out how to pull data in and get graphs set up fairly easily. I didn't need outside support to do it, was pretty intuitive. Cons Some of the graphing options are limited so you really have to play with the settings to get the data to display the way you want it to. Could have more options. Review Source AB Adam B. Thanks to training from the last Data Driven Summit, we've been able to successfully tap into our data and successfully aggregate it enough to gain insights. Pros This software allows for the majority of your data to be accessible within Grow's platform. The abilities to transform the data and present it in a professional, and aesthetically appealing way is critical. I've enjoyed the ability that Grow has to leverage a lot of the functions and abilities available in Excel and other database querying languages inherently in their builder. Cons Without a knowledge of SQL, many data sources are rendered useless or very cumbersome to retrieve meaningful data. Many of the lesser know data sources do not (understandably) have metrics pre built and ready to add to dashboards, therefore, inspection of the data sources and knowledge of SQL transformations and joins are required to achieve the right data for what's needed. Our leadership team is able to make crucial business decisions more quickly and more easily thanks to Grow. Pros How easy it is to import information from so many sources; and that setup of metrics is easy but we have the option to be as complex as we want/need. Cons We use our metrics from laptops to TVs displayed around our offices. There is no way to know how large or small the metrics are on any given device. I wish that we had a grid or template so that the dashboard can be customized for a specific resolution or screen size without hours of trial and error. Pros I love the data pulling feature and often use it on a day to day basis, it's really essential for my sales team and analyzing what are biggest downfalls are. Cons I found that Grow is something you need to get acquainted with, a pro of grow is that it can offer unlimited data but sometimes the formatting can make the data very overwhelming and hard to decipher what is what. Pros I was not here when we integrated Grow, but we have used it a lot since I've been here. The metrics are easy to read and display the data in a simple manner. From what I can tell, formulas are easy to review and update. Cons The customer service lately has been lackluster, mainly since Epicor bought Grow. Pros Very clear easy to read presentation of figures without the faffing around with excel documents Cons We have an internal IT specialist who still comes up with errors in the figures reported for example showing actual at 81 and target at 90 as 41% completion. They clearly did not have alignment with the product team or a solutions engineering team that led to us signing a contract under false promises. Pros I like that Grow allows for easy dashboard reporting so that executives and external stakeholders alike can have many data points be ported over to the Grow dashboard. Cons I did not like the sales process. The reason why I titled this review as, "Sales team is a bit deceptive" is only based on the fact that when we first started discussions with them, they said that they were HIPAA compliant. Only after we got it set up, did we find that they were actually not HIPAA compliant. This caused us to pivot heavily from an internal perspective. I was made promises about a feature upgrade that was to take place in March-end 2019, but eventually happened only in August 2019. Their after-sales support is horrible. I have to make regular follow ups just to get a response from their sales team. Unfortuntely, I have subscribed to 100 dashboards and paid for all 100 dashboards for an entire year and now feel stuck and helpless. Pros I liked it's ease of use and user interface Cons The product frequently hangs and crashes. Updates to the product are not frequent and when they are updated, it is updated with a lot of bugs for which there is no solution Reason for choosing Grow Due to their prompt responses at the time of closing the deal and support I was receiving before making closing the deal with them, ease of use of the platform and price. It gives us insights that we were really missing before getting set up with Grow Pros Native integration with our CRM, which is surprisingly hard to find. The report building UI is second to none. Also need to mention customer support is super helpful. Having access to a BI engineer has saved me on multiple occasions. Cons The dashboard filters are limited.
