It does a great job at updating the data in real time and filtering it out properly. Pros I like how easy the platform is to navigate and how all of the data coming in is broken down. The setup is ideal for our company. Cons The one thing I do not like about Grow is the ability to have filtered PDF reports. When I apply my filters (drivers, locations, date ranges), they do not show up in the PDF report. This function of the platform is something I would love to have incorporated. For our company, those that are familiar with BI tools are able to use it intuitively and effectively. For those unfamiliar with BI tools there's definitely still a learning curve. Pros \* Customer Support: both pre-acquisition and after epicor the customer service team has stayed the same and been very helpful. They both solve your problems and teach \* Setup/Features: I think it's the easiest business intelligence platform to use. Quick to get from a question to a proof of concept \* They're very receptive to feature suggestions Cons \* With the ease of use the tradeoff is that it's not as intuitive to generate more advanced calculations inside of the charts (e.g. create a forecast trend line). So it's not for those that need very advanced analysis \* When the GUI doesn't seem to be the solution to achieve what you need, inevitably you'll need to use SQL. This is less of a pain than it used to be but you should be prepared to incorporate (or ask AI) \* The data table will preview 300 rows when you are building a metric. I realize this is likely for performance but I'd love the option to see more entries. We have never used any sort of BI software before Grow but we had heard and seen bits of Microsoft BI, but gave up trying to learn it as it wasn't very user friendly we found. However with Grow all the data is in one place. It is very user friendly to make basic metrics. However, if you want to go full BI they provide the tools to make complex coded metrics using SQL. These metrics can then be displayed on your P21 dashboard showing you all the key business metrics from the second you log in. The implementation was stress free and easy and the support guys at Grow are great and are always there should you need any help. Pros The fact that it is real time data that updates metrics you create automatically. It means that you don't have to keep pulling data out of the system that is then out of date within the next day. Grow can also email these metrics on a daily basis to give people key information about the business that is correct all the time. Cons There isn't much to dislike about Grow, the implementation is great. The mobile app is great, the browser based software is great. But if I had to pick something it might be the fact that you need 6 months data to get started. But then again without this you wouldn't have any data to make anything with.
