Comments: The idea of customer advocacy and customer marketing is a new way of thinking within B2B business. I feel fortunate that we have chosen a partnership with Influitive, who in my mind, is the leader in this particular space. Our implementation was quite easy and even with my competing priority of creating an online user community at the same time. Their customer support is quite incredible. They are timely, polite, and sure to close the loop. The knowledge base articles are great and usually show walk-throughs and how-to's on nearly everything. I also appreciate their willingness to continue to foster partnership through ongoing coaching with advocacy experts every two weeks. They have even gone so far as to add me to a great SLACK group with Awesome Advocate Marketers from around the world to learn and grow. As a result of our coaching, execution, and leveraging the software within the first 30 days we have had 12 new software reviews, 9 referral leads, and 10+ users raising their hand to be references. I have been blown away with our results and so have my executives. We are going to continue to build on our early success and leverage this tool at an upcoming event - specifically with Influitive's great mobile app. Another thing I appreciate about Influitive is they are constantly learning, growing and trying new things. Their own VIP AdvocateHub is a great place to learn about the company, what's coming around the corner, and also great advice to incorporate into your own hub. We are really looking forward to continuing our success with our Hub and ultimately mobilizing our advocates to spread the footprint of our brand and services via word of mouth, social, and reviews while having fun at the same time!

Pros: You truly get out what you put in. The time spent building campaigns and targeted challenges are directly related to what results you're able to yield thereafter. Their customer support is incredible. Their coaching is very helpful and they are all about building value for your Hub. If you are the sponsor, rest assured you will have plenty of benchmarking and metrics to present to your executive teams.

Cons: No real cons to speak of at this time. Like any other B2B company, they are interested in appending add-on solutions such as API links to Marketo, Salesforce, SSO etc. These do cost money and are typically not included in a base contract.

Recommendations to other buyers: Buy it! It is an absolutely incredible solution that is like no other out there right now. This tool really does allow you to unleash the power of word of mouth through the customers that truly love you. It also allows you to begin fostering a B2C relationship with you B2B customers. It's really neat to create real relationships with meaningful customers that you maybe didn't even know loved you!

Wonderful tool, ROI in weeks if you can have a dedicated person work on it!

Pros: The customization is wonderful. Influitive spends a lot of time setting up training for you, offering a customized portal within Influitive to get you started (insert Inception sound effects here). There is so much to do, but they help you bite it off piece by piece until, poof, you've got your very own advocate portal with real live customers talking with you and engaging daily.

If you look at it as a partnership then you'll succeed easily. Using their advice on rewards systems, challenges and content will get you up and running. Afte that it's definitely something that needs to be managed, but their newer reporting engine shows a lot of the ROI metrics we're tracking to prove effectiveness and success of the product internally.

As a side note - we're getting unsolicited product feedback from our most engaged advocates which is helping our product team figure out more about their use cases.

Cons: It takes a village. You're going to want a dedicated person to take point on this project. Any why wouldn't you? This is your communication to your customers and gives them the ability to engage with you in a way you've probably never been able to before (if you have, it probably didn't scale well).

It's not a cheap product, but it's also very effective once you put some time into it - you're paying for quality here. And don't get me wrong, it takes time. Buy-in from your customer support team is crucial so they can make sure that you implement it fast and get your ROI. You'll want buy-in from marketing to make sure that the customer audience feels loved. You'll finally want to make sure your product management team is excited to get more feedback. With all of these together you can definitely succeed.

Overall: We've been growing our hub quickly after implementing it a few months back. The ability to get private discussions going in our forum and gather valuable feedback has already put us to a point where ROI is pretty easy to see. Product Management is getting feedback like never before and Marketing is able to build relationships to get more webinar participation as well as messaging feedback.

We're just about to roll out referrals as a challenge so we're still new to the platform and I can't speak to the increase in referrals, but our engagement has been through the roof.

Recommendations to other buyers: Put the time into it. If you do you'll be loving the visibility you get into your customer's roles and desires around your product.

Pros: The product is solid. As an admin I was responsible for creating challenges, coming up with point amounts and some other things. Influitive manages the software. I did a three month pilot to build and test our Mitel Champions Hub and didn't encounter any problems with the software.

The staff at Influitive is rock solid! I was assigned a success coach, Eli, who met with me weekly to set goals and work through action items in Basecamp. This was the highlight of my experience having someone guide me to build the best Hub I could! Anytime I had questions the team at Influitive has been stellar!

The folks at Influitive get marketing! This Hub is brilliant and is going to help us grow our social selling initiative and other marketing initiatives so much that we are thrilled we found the product!

Cons: Nothing. I've been incredibly impressed with this product!

Overall: I think one challenge is some companies haven't got the concept of "advocacy marketing" yet. Advocate marketing encompasses many different marketing departments. First and foremost, I see that it's a demand generation opportunity because you can get referrals from employees and customer advocates for new business. That's really powerful and Influitive already has templates and training on how to do this. Second, I think it's a major social media initiative. Every Friday since January 2014 I've sent out customer success Fridays with a new customer success. This includes suggested tweets but then employees have to cut and paste the content. With Influitive it's so easy for advocates just to click a button! The other ways you can leverage customer advocates are for online reviews, customer references, identifying customers for press/case studies/videos and so much more! There are so many opportunities to leverage our advocates and I think of new ways every day!

Recommendations to other buyers: Check it out but be ready because the results will rock your world!

Pros: We're using the AdvocateHub to run our advocate marketing program - Homeroom. The tool helps us communicate with our customers in a meaningful way and reward them for everything that they do for our business. Not only can we provide tools and resources to help customers with our product but we can drive measurable results by building out testimonials, a reference pool, and revenue through referrals. The tool is intuitive, easy to use and is adaptable. The first thing I noticed when I started using the AdvocateHub was how easy it is to use and how flexible the platform is. This enables me to adapt my program and shape it to fit my needs and strategies. Influitive is committed to ensuring their customers are successful. I noticed from the beginning that the company is dedicated to ensuring that my program is successful which is a huge benefit of using their platform. It feels more like a partnership than a vendor relationship.

Cons: I can not think of anything that can be changed or improved upon. In order to have a successful Advocate Marketing program, you need to have someone to execute and manage it. Also, I would advise that you start with your strategy and use that as your guiding light.

Comments: We've been using Influitive for a few years now, and I started using it as an admin over a year ago. I didn't go through any hands-on training as the previous admin had already left our company when I joined, and I was able to learn the tool on my own fairly quickly. I leveraged not only the articles in their Community, but also asked lots of questions to our customer success manager and support team. They're always very responsive and helpful, whether it's a strategic initiative or a technical question.

Pros: The gamification piece is really stellar. Our customers are not always the most active on social media or other forums outside their industry, but our advocates have been consistently engaged with our advocate hub and it is continuing to grow in size and engagement. We use it as an additional marketing channel and work closely with our customer success organization to come up with not only educational challenges that will help with user adoption, but also for special programs like getting more reviews on our affiliate sites, creating awareness around our events via Experiences, and for industry thought leadership.

Cons: My only wish would be that there was better segmentation functionality in regards to finding very specific customers in the hub for the purpose of a marketing or sales reference. For instance, we would love to have more customizeable info captured on the advocate's profile so that we could target very specific use cases to align with our different marketing and sales needs. Today we would need to create a survey with the data we'd like to collect, and then from those responses, create filters and groups to target for individual challenges. That means we won't necessarily have this info automatically for all our advocates, just the ones who respond to the survey. It would be great to pull in more data like this automatically from our Salesforce instance.

Pros: Influitive AdvocateHub gives us a tool to engage customers at scale. It's easy to deploy, easy to manage, and fast to deliver results.

Cons: They're still building out some needed features. I wish the admin view was a bit more helpful in some places, and the mobile experience needs an overhaul.

Overall: We launched our Influitive AdvocateHub in January 2015. We've used the hub to drive referrals, case studies, reviews, beta testers, awards nominations, reference calls, conference submissions and a lot more. There is simply no other platform on the market that help you nurture happy customers into brand advocates the way Influitive AdvocateHub can.

By the numbers, we've been able to generate 250+ online reviews, 30+ video testimonials, 3,000+ social shares, 1,000+ pieces of product feedback, plus dozens of case studies and user-generated content.

Marketing, Sales, Product, and even Executive teams always need to involve customers in their initiatives. AdvocateHub gives you the opportunity to respond quickly to these requests and deliver the right customers ¿ fast. No more begging sales for contacts or intros, no more relying on the same 10 customers to beta test new features or products. Influitive AdvocateHub has given us the central point of engagement from which to drive and support core company initiatives.

Recommendations to other buyers: The success of your AdvocateHub depends almost entirely on your ability to create meaningful challenges for your customers on a daily or weekly basis. Don't underestimate the amount of rigor and planning that must go into this process.

Pros: It gamifies advocate engagement to the point where it's not too "cheesy" on their end. Participation feels organic and can be as serious or fun as you want it to be. I feel this was something other vendors attempted but could never do as well. The AdvocateHub provides detailed metrics so that we can accurately present our success to other departments. Plenty of reports are at our fingertips and can be pulled quickly or sent automatically on a week-week, month-month basis. We needed that to be there and done well, it was selling point for the AdvocateHub. Customer advocates in our AdvocateHub are encouraged to engage daily and Influitive does a great job to coach us on how to do just that. You're never left in the dark or left alone to fend for yourself and your customers. Influitive is there with you to coach you through the process and truly cares about getting the most out of your new AdvocateHub. "You're their only customer" is the feeling you get from them.

Cons: It's a growing vendor so there can still be a few dents in the software here and there. Targeting and uploading content can sometimes take a bit of time at certain points in the day but nothing that has hindered us so far.

Influitive AdvocateHub is helping us change the focus from us to our customers

Mar 25, 2014
5/5
Overall

Comments: We launched a new customer advocacy program about 6 months ago. We had several pain points we hoped to address with a customer advocacy program: 1) A more effective way to gather customer references - whether a case study, press release, testimonial, video, or actual sales reference; 2) a more efficient way to engage our customers as references for speaking opportunities, media interviews, and online discussions that allowed us to offer these opportunities to larger, targeted groups rather than one individual at a time through e-mail; 3) getting our customers to interact with us more frequently and on more platforms and 4) generating more customer referrals. Using Influitive's AdvocateHub, we have created a thriving customer advocacy program that our customers love in a very short amount of time. With Influitive, we are able to present a plethora of "challenges" to our participating customers - everything from following us on social channels, sharing content, giving product or program feedback, participating in webinars, writing blog posts, etc. Our customers then choose from these activities and therefore determine how they would like to interact with our brand as advocates. Challenges have points associated with them, which gives the program a gamification element that our tech audience enjoys. In less than six months we were able to double case study output, increase social mentions over 60%, book industry conference and webinar speakers, collect a couple hundred testimonials to be used in e-mail and online display advertising, double LinkedIn reviews, collect several hundred customer referrals and the list goes on. As you can easily create a challenge around any marketing effort, we are excited to see how much further we can develop this new program. It has definitely helped switch our focus more rightly to telling our customers stories rather than our own - a much more authentic and powerful way to do marketing.

Pros: Advocate groups can be created around Industry, Location, Product, Company Size, etc. and then challenges targeted appropriately. CRM integrations make for a more successful solution. The company is incredibly attentive and customer oriented.

Cons: As a fairly new solution, there are occasional bugs we run into. There are many features we would like to see added, but every update (which occurs regularly) brings new features, often ones we requested.

Pros: The AdvocateHub is a great product that many companies could make use of. Customer marketing and customer advocacy go hand in hand and it's on the rise. Before Influitive, I had no idea this was such a thing in marketing. With great effort comes great results which is what I've seen over the past 2 years. We have got feedback rather quickly from our advocates on their hub experience as well as product feedback which is great and beneficial. We have also been able to drive a ton of reviews, referrals, reference calls as well. Tons of quotes and testimonials that we share via Social Media have came from our hub. I believe if you utilize it in every opportunity that you get then you are definitely getting way more than your money's worth for this amazing product. The discussion forum is also a great place for our advocates to discuss our product as well as other things.

Cons: Over the past few months, Influitive has been buggy at times as well as e-mail digests going out slower than usual due to lag times (Tuesday mornings on the West Coast) There's been maintenance issues during the day.

Pros: The platform is very user-friendly but what I most like is the team behind it. They are always ready to help and provide you with resources and best-practice advice. The support team is going up and beyond to resolve any issues you might have really quickly. I can honestly say that Influitive have spoiled me and I expect to get the same customer support from others. I'm even surprised when that doesn't happen! The platform helps us keep our customers and partners engaged with our products on a more informal level. We significantly improved our footprint and positioning on a third party review sites, we accelerated the quantity and the quality of customer references and boosted our company social amplification.

Cons: The only thing that I don't like is that email notifications sent from the hub land in spam folders. We managed to find a workaround but still, it's a bit more work.

Comments: For those of you that have not become passionate about Advocate Marketing - you need to get on board now. And, for those of you that have not chosen an Advocate Marketing partner - you absolutely need to connect with Influitive. I've been working with the AdvocateHub now for about 6 months now, and we've already seen some amazing results. Customers are engaging with challenges, we are getting testimonials from customers on software review sites like G2 crowd, they are engaging with us in Discussion forums, sharing our content via social networks, etc. Not only is the product great, but the team is really spectacular. Don't wait, contact them now!

Pros: Very easy to create challenges that engage advocates. the concept of gaming that is embedded in everything is highly addictive and just draws you into doing more and more.

Cons: it would be nice to have better capabilities that let advocates find other advocates with similar questions, similar interests, etc. I know they are working on a new messaging feature that is supposed to be out in the next few months. hopefully, this will be a big step forward in allowing advocates to easily connect with other advocates.

Recommendations to other buyers: seriously, don't wait. i've been a marketer for almost 30 years. theres lots of different strategies and tactics to market and sell your product, but nothing beats having your customers endorse/sell your product for you. Nothing.

Above and Beyond

Comments: I have been using Influitive to manage our customer advocacy program for around 4 months now and it has has so far been tracking right on target with all of our performance measures. Although it does require a significant time investment to take advantage of, I really can't think of any other marketing automation tools that I have found to be this easy to use. One of the things that has taken me by surprise with their service has been the speed with which the company is able to innovate and deliver new features. They very much have their fingers on the pulse with their clients needs. Changing software providers is very costly and this level of customer responsivness gives me a great deal of confidence that we made the right decision in choosing Influitive as our Advocacy Marketing software. I am the Customer Advocate for ANZ at a Fortune 1000 financial services company.

Pros: Amazing post-sales support. There are always problems with complex software roll outs, but these guys have knocked it out of the park. Their technical support staff are the best I have dealt with at any company, for any reason. They are extremely quick to respond and genuinely helpful when they do. Influitive's On boarding specialists are insightful and capable of navigating new customers around common rollout issues, and their account managers maintain a high degree of ongoing contact and are excellent sources of advice. Even their self serve knowledge base is good enough to deserve a shout out - and this can be a vital resource when (like us) you are based many, many time zones away.

Cons: There were a few teething problems with some of the software integrations in the early stages that lead to some nail biting moments. Although there are customisation options available that allow you to create a Hub reflect your company's branding, I would like to see more flexibility in terms of what can be customised.

Pros: Ease of use, SFDC integration, Quick to respond support team, great advocacy coaches

Cons: Wish it had a content calendar and the ability to post custom copy for social shares for Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn instead of just Twitter.

Overall: We were already running Influitive for our customers when I came on board. With the success of our customer portal, we decided to also launch it for our associates. We have generated case studies, videos, product reviews, referrals, references, etc. via Influtive and has given us a chance to really get to know our customers. The success coaches I've worked with are awesome. They have helped us brainstorm campaigns, show us new features, and are quick to respond with support questions. We've had a great experience using Influitive and they are keeping up with the latest trends by releasing new integrations and features each month.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure you have someone dedicated to running the portal, at least to start. You can do a lot of great things with Influitive if you have the time to do it.

Comments: We worked with our client and evaluated several platforms and chose Influitive. We used Influitive to create a customer advocacy program for a hardware and software company that sells B2B. Our top need was to support the field organization with references and secondarily to "rise above the clutter" of other vendors.

Pros: Our customers love the program we set up. We had a core group of loyal and supportive customers, but the program has enabled us to nearly triple the pool of supporters. The nature of the challenges enables customers to do as much or as little as they want, but the engagement is much higher than I expected. The integration with Salesforce is great (though I would recommend cleaning up Salesforce as much as possible before you launch), reporting is robust and easily customizable.

Cons: The Discussions area has a lot of potentials, but it functions more as a "bolted-on" product versus a nicely integrated feature.

Recommendations to other buyers: Plan, plan, plan. Think about how you want to build the advocate profile so you start with good data, thing long term about engagement, and involve as many parts of the organization as possible.

Pros: Influitive's AdvocateHub helped us drive measurable and meaningful change for several clients. It provides a way to identify, engage and motivate happy customers (and even turnaround those who aren't yet natural advocates). You can use it to assist in just about any strategy - for example, as an onboarding or educational tool, as a way to gather customer insights, as a way to collect user-generated content, and so on.

Cons: It is a bit pricey, but it saves so much time vs running an advocacy program manually. It is better suited to some industries/audiences vs others, but you may be surprised as to who will actually participate in a gamification experience.

Pros: -Great services! I have contacted Influitive Support and they always gave me support in a great delay. -Coaching: They have coaches that help you define aims and more importantly to reach them! -Advocate View: Aesthetic, intuitive as well as easy-to-use. Never heard any issues from our users. -Influitive VIP: Using the product is the best way to learn about it and I must say their hub is great for this. I have learned many things from how to manage my hub to how advocates think while browsing our hub. -Resources: They have SO many resources it's unbelievable! It's perfect to learn more about the product and how to engage your advocates.

Cons: -Admin View (UI): It can sometimes be hard to understand/find what you are looking for. However, they have many resources and you are sure to find answers to your questions. -Mobile App: It needs to be refreshed and I have heard they are working on it therefore it might become a pro in the future.

Comments: If you're just starting a new program, you can't do better than Influitive's AdvocateHub platform. The only reason I gave it 4-stars for features is that as your program matures, you'll start to run up against platform limitations and things can get a little stale/repetitive. Even so, there's no better platform that I've found.

Pros: - Robust platform, and continuing to improve - Best customer support ever - Our customers love it (it's fun and engaging) - Drives measurable business results for us

Cons: - Can get a bit stale for mature programs. That said, there's no better program in the category.

Recommendations to other buyers: Jump in with both feet. You will not regret it. I've been using it for 2+ years now and am going deeper into Customer Marketing as a career with largely Influitive's AdvocateHub to thank for it.

Comments: Influitive has a definite purpose in the marketing arsenal if you are interested in providing your customers with a way to stay informed with what your organization is doing and rewarding them for their efforts along the way.

Pros: Easy to use and super responsive and helpful support team and coaches UI is rather easy to use and straight forward User VIP hub is a great place to borrow ideas and to get inspired for campaigns of your own Great for targeting social customers and is very easy to use from a customer perspective Great options for integration with existing marketing platforms like SFDC and Marketo

Cons: Can be a challenging platform to leverage engagement from all industries (like tech and/or security) Requires a significant amount of time to run effectively, which can be a challenge if Influitive is only a portion of your business objectives.

Comments: I have only been using Influitive for a few months (although the hub I am working on has been around longer), and I have found it so easy to learn. The customer support team and my Influitive coach are always there to answer my questions and provide guidance. There is no other platform that my team and I have encountered that has the same capabilities that Influitive has. Perfect platform for a customer loyalty program.

Pros: -User Friendly -Amazing customer support team -Platform great for finding references, writing reviews, finding speakers, etc. -Great way to reward your customers for being advocates for your brand

Cons: -Targeting issues (although Influitive does send you updates when they are found/fixed) -A lot of time is spent on managing the hub including producing content, engaging with advocates, responding to their questions, fulfilling rewards, etc. (so make sure you are prepared for this commitment)

Recommendations to other buyers: Lots of planning! You don't want your hub to wither away. Make sure you always have lots of content available to use and keep it updated every day to encourage members to come in.

Pros: Simple for clients to pick up and use. It is also extremely versatile so it supports my advocate needs for all departments.

Cons: It takes a serious commitment from the company to adopt the software and for it to be successful. I suggest bringing in someone extremely excitable and a go getter to lead the introduction of the Hub to the company. Show each department how it benefits them and your entire company will benefit from one simple solution.

Overall: Our company decided a year ago to focus portion of our team on having our customers tell our story and speak in the industry for us instead of just traditional marketing we had been doing. Our return on customer advocate marketing has been dramatic. I do not think you need to change and throw out your traditional marketing methods but our advocates give us the testimonials and other assets we leverage. No one wants to be sold anymore we want to hear reviews and learn from others who are in our shoes and thats what influitive helps you focus on!

Recommendations to other buyers: Simple with great returns of referrals, references and reviews you just have to work it.

Pros: It gives us a fun and lighthearted way to connect with our customer base! Our company has a fairly aggressive sales strategy, so our customers sometimes grow weary of working with us. This is a much more fun and easy going way to connect with them - we're building trust!

Cons: It's still somewhat new, so they are working out some kinks and adding more functionality. It's good in some ways, because we the customers get to influence some of the changes and new functions that are being added, but at the same time, some features (such as certain reports) aren't yet available.

Overall: We're still fairly new with Influitive - less than 6 months in to our Hub. There have been a lot of learning experiences, but it seems like we're beginning to move in the right direction. For example, we started using Influitive with expectations as to how we would see ROI, and we've had to shift around our expectations with regards to what we're getting out of this. It will certainly still be valuable, not just in the way we originally anticipated.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure you get a really engaged Advocacy Coach - that makes ALL the difference while you're getting set up and preparing to launch your Hub. And if you do find that you're working with a less involved coach, make sure to voice your concerns and negotiate for one that meets your needs. The support team is great - make sure to become friends with them! Also, make sure to connect with Influitive's client - they provide a wealth of best practices and tips.

Comments: Influitive is our platform of choice for communicating with 40k+ customers who use HireRight background screening services around the globe. The platform allows us to drive customer retention, reviews, references, and referrals, while building a relationship with customers. We are more than pleased with the platform and see nothing but opportunity ahead.

Pros: The Influitive team is amazing - they are very supportive, helpful - you really get a sense that they care about your program. Customers are spreading the word about the program too! They are recommending colleagues to join and talking to HireRight team members about the value gained from participating.

Cons: There is a time commitment to launching the program and managing long term, but it's worth every bit of energy. Who doesn't want more customer reviews, references, and referrals?

Recommendations to other buyers: Just do it! Make it happen at your company. Customers will love engaging with your company in a new and fun way. They will learn more about your service/product offering and advocate on top of it.

Comments: WebPT is an Electronic Medical Record for over 60,000 Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. We were looking to scale our ability to provide the white glove service our Members deserve, while ensuring their involvement in a community to generate amazing, organic conversations between them. We also wanted to streamline our ability to capture this information for customer generated content, while also making it easy for them to join reference programs and refer new customers.

Pros: - Provides a social community for customers to engage with one another. - Rewards them for the things they're already doing - Shows our customers we appreciate the efforts they take when engaging with our brand. - Rewards/points gamification is an awesome and fun feature. - Great information with lots of ideas. - A strong community of their own members for support. - Support team is awesome.

Cons: - Unfortunately their software has quite a few glitches, making inviting new customers and creating new challenges, challenging. - Onboarding process wasn't the smoothest. - Lots of resources, but no direction as to where to start first. - Small irritations like, can't delete segmentation groups or advocates we nominated.

Recommendations to other buyers: Ask a lot of questions! Watch all the webinars. Attend the EDGE classes. Influitive is a lot to learn, and you'll be overwhelmed, but stick with it.

Pros: Since implementing, we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of customers who create case studies with us, give feedback on third party review sites, participate in PR-related activities, and complete reference calls on our behalf. Influitive helps to keep our advocates happy and engaged.

Cons: Set up can be a bit challenging especially if you're integrating with other solutions (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo). However, most of the challenges were on our side and Influitive support was always quick to respond by email or phone to any of our issues. I would also say that this isn't a "flip the switch" type solution - if you want the results, you'll have to actively manage your AdvocateHub to keep customers engaged.

Pros: Ease of use; implementation is painless; ongoing innovation; great transparency; excellent community of practitioners.

Cons: I don't have many issues with Influitive. The software isn't perfect but they are ALWAYS working to make it better. That might sound like it's easy to get left behind, but they've managed to keep a consistency in the user experience that doesn't alienate legacy users when updating.

Overall: I've worked with Influitive at multiple companies. I've implemented them at two of those companies. Each time I've had an excellent experience with the implementation team and the customer support team. Adam Gerard - a customer success manager - is one of my favorite people in B2B. Truman Tang is equally awesome. If you invest with Influitive, you can feel the weight of their company behind your success. They want you to win over your influencers, and they want to see you thrive as an advocate marketing specialist. Influitive will help your business and your career.

Recommendations to other buyers: Have cross-department buy-in and a coherent goal in mind before you implement Influitive. I'd recommend identifying particularly vocal clients - negative and positive alike - and having a working session to discuss how you can translate that energy into something positive for your company and customers.

I am also able to learn more about the company, earn points and trade the points in for rewards.

Cons: Currently, I don't have any dislikes for this website. It is very useful to me and other VIPKID teachers.

Pros: Influitive provides a perfect platform to activate your happiest customers and turn them into brand advocates in the market. If you put in the work it can automate your referral and customer reference programs and also reward them for their actions. Influitive pays for itself simply from the ease of the referral feature. It can also be used as an upsell tool for your sales reps.

Cons: This is a great tool but it needs to have staffing behind it to see results. This isn't a platform that runs itself unfortunately. We have also seen some integration problems between Influitive and Salesforce.

Overall: Referrals, increased customer reference pool, increase NPS.

Pros: I like the support and the educational content that they release.

Overall: We have had a very good experience with Influitive. I love learning from the experts at Influitive while running my own program, and applying their suggestions every day.

Comments: We implemented Influitive a year ago and have just signed on for another year. Prior to creating our advocate hub, it was extremely difficult for our marketing team to keep in touch with customers, find out what they need, and ask them for input. (We are a niche software company that makes reporting and document components for other B2B software companies.) After setting up the mutually beneficial platform, however, we are all better for it. Our company has a better grasp on our customers' needs -- e.g. customers use the program to give suggestions on how to improve our products -- and we are able to translate their good will into useful ways, such as reviews on third party review sites like G2 Crowd and IT Central Station.

Pros: Influitive does what it promises: helps us connect with customers and get them to advocate for us. The platform is easy to use and is constantly introducing new features and upgrading current ones. Support is on the ball and overall we're extremely happy with this program.

Cons: We've had a harder time than anticipated getting customers to submit referrals via the platform. This isn't necessarily Influitive's fault but so far that piece of the puzzle hasn't been solved.

Comments: We use Influitive as our main customer hub to share information, news, content, events, product updates & more. The model of sharing information with customers and using the discussion boards works well. However the rewards component of the hub is more of a challenge since it's tough to see the value of what you're getting from customers compared with the money you're spending on rewards.

Pros: Good community platform and discussion boards - the fun aspect makes it easier to engage with customers.

Cons: The rewards do not always generate genuine responses from customers and it's hard to correlate value between the money you're spending and the feedback and participating you're getting from customers.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you have a very social, active customer base that likes to participate in all kinds of opportunities, this could be an option for you. However, if your customer base is a bit more conservative, it could be a challenge getting them to engage in this fashion.

Influitive, the Hub (almost) everyone should sign up for

Comments: We're using it for customer advocacy and have rolled it out to around 30 customers to start with. It helps us engage customers with the help of gamification, get them to do content marketing for us and we hope to increase references and referrals via the Hub. Eventually, we would like to launch it for employees as well and give a strong push to our content marketing strategy.

Pros: The Hub integrates seamlessly with Salesforce.com and helps you request references from Salesforce itself. Also referrals can be tracked via the integration and only when the referral converts to a customer, the referral challenge is considered successful. It is a great tool for content marketing efforts. You can get your advocates to write blogs, do video testimonials, and even appear at events via the challenges It is a cool way to reward your best advocates by giving them perks and rewards for their efforts in helping you get new customers or just market your product to their peers The customer support is unbeatable. ask them a question within business hours and they will reply to you in minutes.

Cons: AdvocateHub needs to add more challenge templates so that admins don't have to spend too much time in thinking what to write for a particular challenge Would be nice to see a customizable Hub to have a look and feel in sync with the company website they should have a daily report for admins to track the progress of the advocacy program

Comments: Influitive is a critical part of our marketing technology stack. The platform allows us to organize advocates in one tool, track their activities, easily reward and recognize advocates, and dynamically adjust our asks (for reviews, feedback, etc.) to deliver what our business needs.

Pros: Customer love it! Library of integrations Excellent training / onboarding materials Simple reporting Consistently deliver improvements, and provide insights (and the opportunity to influence) their roadmap

Cons: For organizations with very strict Info Security requirements/processes, the SFDC integration might be limited.

Recommendations to other buyers: Join the VIP program to get ideas that you can use in your own Advocate Hub

Pros: Influitive has a been a great resource for our team to help manage our growing customer marketing initiatives. Comments: Influitive is a platform that will reward direct efforts towards customer engagement. With an incredibly detailed onboarding process and a culture of using their own platform to engage with their customers, Influitive makes it relatively easy for anyone to start an advocacy program for their business. If you're looking to get to a customer conference someday or build towards a referral stream the best time to evaluate Influitive is the present.

Pros: - Rich platform for both engagement and reporting - Detailed onboarding and guidance - Feedback for multiple teams from willing customers - Simple pathways towards greater engagement - Measurable ROI (after ramp period) - Quantifiable engagement beyond social media metrics

Cons: - Long ramp time (weeks to months) - Expensive first bite with longer payback period - Most effective with a dedicated customer marketing or customer success person behind it

Recommendations to other buyers: This software can be used at any company, but needs to be used at the right time. There should be a core group of users that are utilizing your software daily or weekly and know who you are. The process of inviting new users and turning them into engaged users can range from a day to multiple months. You will get ROI 10x over if you put in the time.

Comments: I absolutely love Influitive's Advocate Hub. It makes obtaining customer case studies, testimonials, reviews and feedback so seamlessly simple! It's a fun, engaging platform that allows us to build rapport with our most influential customers. We have seen a significant amount of improvement in content and quotes than we can so easily pull.

Pros: Easy to use both on the back end and customer facing. Great coaches and support for anytime you have questions. Ability to create SubGroups - huge for a Regional Marketing Strategy standpoint.

Cons: Sometimes the sequence of building out challenges and their stages can be challenging, it takes some strategy surrounding each one. Also, I wish there were more opportunities for other users from similar backgrounds to share their experiences and best practices. For example, I work in ed tech, I wish I had an opportunity to connect with other ed tech users within Influitive as part of the best practices of onboarding.

Pros: The platform has lots of great features including gamification, leaderboard, segmentation, email notifications, discussion forums, and automated reward fulfillment. It is easy to implement (only took us 3 weeks from initial training session to launch). It enables advocates to choose the activities that most interest them. It is fun to use as an end user and administrator. It can be used for both customer and employee advocacy programs. The support team is very responsive and their knowledgebase includes great instructional videos.

Overall: We launched our AdvocateHub one month ago and have already seen significant improvement in engagement in our community, which was a primary goal. In addition, our AdvocateHub is helping us improve our customer reference program by enabling us to reach out directly to customers for referrals, references, testimonials and case studies.

Recommendations to other buyers: Create as many challenges as you can before launching. If you will be using it for both employee and customer advocacy, launch with employees first. We learned lots from having employees ¿test¿ our hub and challenges before we launched to customers.

I¿ve only been using the product for less than three weeks and already get the hang of it. Even if you don¿t have a creative mind, their support team and templates help make your hub engaging and fun!

It is an awesome platform that is a win-win for both parties: allows the opportunity for you to engage with your advocates and reward them for being valuable members, and in turn you can get great feedback from your advocates such as reviews on products participating in events and more.

The best part is their support team is attentive and personable, always being either a quick email or phone call away to answer any of your questions. They are always working to improve the product by adding news features and they keep you updated 24/7 if issues ever come up.

We've seen an amazing response in just a few weeks of using the program.

Comments: Our company has been using Influitive for both Customer and Employee Advocacy. My primary focus has been around the employee advocacy use case. We rolled it out to our entire global sales organization to help them better collaborate, become more socially engaged, access sales trainings and access rewards through sales incentives.

Pros: Hosting your Customer and Employee advocacy programs on one platform allows for a cohesive strategy. It also increases engagement and adoption with both programs. Influitive's functionality is very robust. Your employees can seamlessly post on social media, while still within the application. There is a community section which fosters collaboration and enables your employees to share best practices throughout the organization. It is easy to create, manage and report on challenges. Customer Service is extremely responsive. Overall, we have been extremely happy with the platform.

Cons: The tool wasn't originally designed for Employee Advocacy, so there is some functionality missing, but their product release schedule is aggressive and they are constantly making improvements.

Pros: The employees at Influitive are amazing. Their support team is always there to help. The app itself is pretty slick and easy to use, for the most part. It just makes it super easy and clear to the advocates what they need to do and what they get out of it (gamification, rewards, education, recognition).

Cons: There are integrations with Salesforce and Marketo and some other systems. I had some trouble getting all of this set up to work properly. The documentation is a little scattered and unclear, and it was kind of difficult to get a single point of contact to work through these technical issues with me. But once we pushed through it, it works well!

Pros: Ease of use, excellent support, always improving the product and adding new features.

Cons: It can get a bit pricey, but worth it if you have the budget.

Overall: Influitive greatly helped us to streamline the customer advocacy program. I work for an agency, and thanks to Influitive, customer advocacy has become a huge part of my career. It was previously very time consuming to manually implement and manage a customer advocacy program for a single client before working with Influitive. Now, I am able to manage programs for multiple clients, all in a much more streamlined way in a fraction of the time.

Pros: Ease of use: The platform is extremely user-friendly and support is quick to respond to and resolve any issues. Influitive is constantly updating features and has a great roadmap site to submit additional feature requests. Our advocates have the ability to filter their activities so they can focus on the ones they find most meaningful. We are able to learn more about their interests and build stronger relationships to help with customer retention.

Cons: There are a few limitations with creating and targeting challenges, but these features can be requested and I have seen a few that have already been implemented.

Pros: Influitive helps to humanize the interactions between customer and vendor. Influitive has provided us with a unique, fun, and engaging platform that allows us to connect with our customers. What's great is that you can tailor the challenges and experience to each advocate individually. The software allows you to drill-down into what motivates each advocate, and allows us to use that to our advantage.

Cons: Not necessarily a con, but more a realization, that we needed to scale down our expectations. This is not a program that will generate immense change overnight, but rather helps foster connections and encourage engagement. Be patient and persistent, and you'll see results. Also - their reporting capabilities could use some work.

Overall: We launched our advocacy program with Influitive roughly 2/3 months ago, and the impact on our marketing activities has been very noticeable. Over this time frame, we've already received 25+ reviews, completed 5+ case studies (which prior to Influitive, 1 could have taken over 6 months to complete), received 15+ usable testimonials, and much more. It's been a learning experience, especially since we had no community prior to launch, however, I've been nothing but pleased with the overall result.

Recommendations to other buyers: As someone else mentioned, be well prepared before launch. Generate a mix of 50-60 challenges and you'll be good to go. Also, with your launch email, have a clear call-to-action, and a plan in place to attract new advocates once you've sent all email notifications.

Pros: Always upgrading, ease of use, and great support

Cons: Sometimes it has it's limitations that other portals are great for

Overall: We have had influitive for approx 2 years now, and it has helped in many ways towards social sharing to references to getting feed back on a product. We have only heard good things about it from our customers & are looking to expand. As we are expanding, a few issues have come up where we wish the product would have the ability (for example house uploadable documents) but that will hopefully come in the future

Pros: The hub is super easy to use. The different customer asks are really easy to set up. It is also a really fun way to engage with your customers and get to know them better.

Cons: It is not a great tool if you are a small company. Customers usually become inactive after a while, so you need a steady stream of new customers coming in to keep engagement high. We are just to small for this to have been successful.

Overall: They were great to work with and it is a great tool when you have an awesome product and great word of mouth already. This amplifies the word of mouth efforts of your customers and organizes all of the customer marketing initiatives.

Comments: I have had nothing but great interactions with The Influitive Customer Service Team. They respond quickly to any emails and are willing to go above and beyond (even when I have a silly question). This has been a great experience and I try to let them know as often as possible how much I appreciate their help!

Pros: - Respond quickly - Always polite and patient -No such thing as a dumb question

Cons: -We work with multiple brands under multiple hubs - so sometimes it can be a little confusing when we have issues. However, The Influitive Support Gang always takes the time to figure it out.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a great program for referrals and for engaging your customers.

Pros: It's really fun - the gamification is a blast. Customers seem to really enjoy it.

Cons: We had a tough run with our SSO set up - this could use some polish.

Overall: No matter how small or silly my questions are, Inflluitive has the BEST customer service! We run a pretty complex set of platforms (five in total) and they are all different. Anytime I have a question, I get quality support and help and my problems are always fixed.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a really multidimensional product. We use it for referrals, advocacy and for engaging our resellers. If you have multiple brands, really talk to your sales rep about how it will work - we had to sign up for five instances to get it to work.

Comments: Influitive¿s program has been very useful for our company. Using it, we¿re able to engage our customers in an unprecedented way, providing them an additional, high-value service. It allows us to get their direct feedback on our products, which we use to modify our offerings as appropriate. We¿re also able to better garner what they¿d like to see from our company down the pike, while understanding the challenges their up against at their own companies and struggles that have lead them to choosing our product. It¿s highly beneficial, fun for our customers, and they love the rewards. The team at Influitive is great to work with ¿ always offering additional insights and strategic guidance on how we can make the most from our program. They¿re quick to respond, thoughtful in their approach, and willing to pull in additional people to help enhance our experience.

Pros: Influitive allows us to engage clients in a fun, meaningful and rewarding ways. Our Influitive hub gives us access to customer feedback on a variety of programs. Challenges provide us with a better understanding of what our clients want/need.

Cons: Influitive is newer and the product is constantly developing, meaning we don¿t always have the features we¿re looking for. However, the team is open to feedback and most concerns have been addressed

Awesome tool and staff support

Comments: I've used AdvocateHub for a couple years and watched it grow in functionality and sophistication. The tool itself provides a very simple means to create interesting challenges that are flexible and easily grasped by advocates. The reward, feedback, and tracking systems are easily managed and provide me with the information I need to gauge the activity and interest of my advocates. The Influitive support team is great when issues come up and very open to enhancement requests. In addition, the AdvocateHub leaders community is very willing to share best practices and new ideas. Probably best of all is that AdvocateHub is really fun to use. If you're interested, I encourage you to take a close look and see if it fits your business/organization.

Pros: AdvocateHub is easy to use and constantly evolving to meet customer needs. The Influitive staff are good models for success in Advocacy Marketing. They are upbeat, full of ideas and appreciatively responsive to my questions, suggestions and issues.

Cons: Advocacy Marketing offers a great boost for your business and AdvocateHub makes it almost too easy to administer -- but don't be fooled, any tool can only do so much -- keeping your advocates happy and motivated takes dutiful effort and attention.

Overall

Comments: We were looking for a solution to reward our customers who consist of primarily gamers. We needed to find a solution that tapped into their competitive spirit and at the same time gain some loyal customers/fans at the same time.

Pros: Solution is very intuitive, interface was easy to figure out on your own, getting up and running was easy, and our customer service manage was always on top of things.

Cons: There are some features I would like to have at my finger tip. 1) Social reporting, the ability to track what reach your advocates have would be ideal 2) Advance reporting, I am a numbers guy, and I need the ability to crunch my own numbers. Canned reports are nice to begin with, but once you understand the solution, you start thinking of different ways reports you would like to run. 3) Template of responses, because I often have to respond the same thing to advocates, it would be nice to have a repository of response you can always reuse.

Pros: The customer support team is AMAZING and always willing to go out of their way. Influitive has great thought leadership content on customer advocacy and customer experience (blogs, articles, etc) as well.

Comments: We've been using Influitive for a few months now and I have absolutely nothing bad to say. It's a great engagement tool for our advocates (partners, customers, and influencers) because let's be honest, who doesn't like free prizes? Throw some friendly competition in there and people will go to town! The UI is extremely intuitive - you don't need proper training, just play around for an hour and you'll get the hang of it. It's super easy to upkeep too, just be prepared to have some extra challenges in your back pocket for when your advocates breeze through the available set of challenges (because trust me, they will!).

Pros: Gamification! Partners and customers are not always the most active on social media or other forums outside their industry, but gamification makes it fun! Our advocates have never been so engaged with us and it continues to get better every week. We use it as an additional marketing channel to come up with not only educational challenges that will help with user adoption, but also for special programs like getting customer references, product reviews, creating awareness around our events, and for industry thought leadership. The opportunities are limitless!

Cons: The tool is still in its fairly early stages so it's not as robust and flexible as it potentially could be. Reporting could also be better!

The Best Customer Advocacy Platform on the Planet

Aug 23, 2014
5/5
Overall

Comments: We have been using the Influitive Customer Advocacy platform since May of this year and have been impressed by the results so far. The platform is gamification-based, which means that you get to build an incentive-based environment where you can encourage your customers to complete certain activities that help meet your own sales & marketing objectives. Since launch, we have grown our advocate community from 50 to over 300, and we have a number of excellent reference materials in the pipeline. We have also seen huge participation on social media by our customers because of their involvement and engagement in the Hub. Highly recommend it!

Pros: Very easy to use and intuitive. The platform is also very flexible at the same time, enabling you to target your activities (challenges) and incentive rewards to any customer, partner, or employee segments you need. It is also 100% in the cloud.

Cons: The biggest area of improvement would be around administration -- to be able to segment administrative duties at a more fine grained level. I would also like to see more out-of-box integrations to other web sites and online platforms.

Excellent way to cultivate brand ambassadors and improve your product

Mar 26, 2014

Overall

Comments: I am administering an AdvocateHub for my company and am seeing great engagement by key customers thus far. Influitive is pioneering the new Advocate Marketing industry and offers a powerful platform that enables companies to achieve a wide range of business objectives: increasing referrals, growing the base of reference customers, creating a powerful channel of product advisors and beta testers who provide invaluable insights, cultivating a group of brand ambassadors who can help increase word of mouth and social reach, and providing an elegant way to reward customers who perform these and other activities on our behalf. The platform is highly customizable, user friendly, intuitive, and fun to use.

Pros: Influitive is thoroughly dedicated to helping us achieve our goals and remarkably invested in our success. Influitive is highly responsive to our needs and is an extraordinary partner.

Cons: It's hard to identify any downside to working with Influitive or going with AdvocateHub. Whenever I have a request for an enhancement or new feature, I usually hear back that it's being planned or considered for a future release. No complaints here!

Pros: It has allowed us to make connections with our 70K+ customer base, which has been difficult for us to do in the past. We can get to know them, share VIP benefits and help them use our tools better. The platform is user-friendly for customers, and we can target our most engaged and those we'd like to see more of. The customer support team is always quick to respond to our questions and concerns.

Cons: As a global organization, we've had issues making this platform multi-lingual which will continue to be a problem for us in the future. AdvocateHub has exceeded our expectations!

Jun 26, 2014
5/5
Overall

Comments: We are just over two months into our use of AdvocateHub and we have already well exceeded our expectations of the number of engaged advocates as well as results from the challenges. Our advocates are finding this as a new and different way to interact with us and are really enjoying it so far. We have always wanted a way to interact with our advocates on a regular basis, especially ones we don't interact with as regularly, and this is the perfect solution. I like that we can offer an opportunity, and are sometimes surprised at the number of people who are willing to participate - definitely more than we would have tried to reach out to 1:1! Once you get the hang of it, entering challenges is easy. Although still new, we couldn't be more pleased with the experience so far. The people at Influitive are great, and we have always gotten the support we needed. Two thumbs up!

Pros: Short implementation time. Ease of use. Ability to interact with advocates easily in a targeted way (by product, by geo, etc.). It's fun!!

Cons: Not really any....other than tit being a bit overwhelming at first. But that's all part of the learning curve.

Stay Top of Mind with your Best Sales People - your Customers/Partners.

Overall

Comments: I have managed our Influitive Advocate Hub for over 2 years. It is a great platform to manage your top advocates and customer evangelists. It's a terrific way to stay top of mind in a fun and exciting way with your customer and partner base in order to inform and educate our community where they are; social media, Quora, or 3rd party reviews sites. The shared information helps our customers learn more about Act-On and their industry plus if helps build their brand in the community. We have generated leads, surveyed our customers and much more. Give them a try!

Pros: Simply and easy stay engaged with your top advocates. Send them targeted communications for specific challenges that support your lead-gen efforts. Create, manage and track your social advocate army. Mange new referrals/leads and track references.

Cons: Not a place to store personal information on your key advocates, use the CRM as they are integrated with salesforce.com or keep a "note". It's hard to talk about cons because most of what I asked for they build into the product - great team there!

Comments: I just started using influtive and I can honestly say it has helped my team grow as marketers. With customer advocacy growing within the marketing world, this tool has really helped solve many problems. Foremost, this product helps us drive reviews, referrals, and customer reference calls. On top of those major tools, it also allows our customers to engage with us on a new platform besides just a forum. Customers find this way of engagement fun, collaborative, and innovative.

Pros: - Gameified way to engage customers - Easy to use - Appealing UI - Great support team

Cons: - Pricing is a bit high - There are still areas in which the product can be updated to make the experience better. Although I do love the clean design, there are areas in which simple tweaks in the customization of the product could be improved.

Comments: We launched our AdvocateHub one month ago and have already seen significant improvement in engagement in our community, which was one of our primary goals. The built-in gamification was something we wanted to add to our community, but, as a very small team, were unable to implement with our old site. In addition, our AdvocateHub is helping us improve our customer reference program by enabling us to reach out directly to customers for references, testimonials and case studies.

Pros: The platform has lots of great features including gamification, leaderboard, segmentation, email notifications, discussion forums, and automated reward fulfillment. It is easy to implement (only took us 3 weeks from initial training session to launch). It enables advocates to participate in activities that most interest them on their own terms. It is fun to use as an end user and administrator of a hub. It can be used for both customer and employee advocacy programs. Customer support is excellent.

Cons: If you have an active community of advocates, it can be time consuming to continuously be creating new activities to keep them engaged, but this is a wonderful ¿problem¿ to have.

Comments: Influitive's Advocate Hub platform has taken our marketing to a new level. It's by far the most comprehensive solution I've seen on the market. Since rolling out we have increased references, lead referrals, online reviews and social media mentions. It has also been an effective way to communicate new and gather product feedback. We recently used the advocate hub to mobilize our advocates and centralize communication for our annual user conference, which was a huge success. My favorite part is hearing from our customers about how much they enjoy participating in the program. If you're ready to amplify growth by developing and mobilizing your advocates, I highly recommend Influitive!

Pros: Very easy onboarding process with an accessible customer support team; Key features include: Salesforce integration, reward fulfillment integration, gamification features, segmentation/targeting capabilities and a community forum.

Cons: Could improve some of the administrative functions, as well as better integrated email tracking.

Comments: If you're looking for a platform to manage your advocate marketing program, then Influitive is definitely the best out there. We did our due diligence before going ahead with them, check out all their competitive solutions, but Influitive emerged out to be the best. And we are glad we took the decision of going ahead with them. We've already started reaping the benefits and realizing the ROI. Influitive AdvocateHub will help you get to know your existing customers, uncover their needs, and help you be a better partner if you heed their strategic approach to customer and advocate marketing.

Pros: There's no point having a great product, support, and team when no one else is talking about it. You cannot blow your own trumpet all the time and expect people to buy into everything you say. Influitive is an awesome tool, based on the concept of gamification, which would help you turn your customers into your best advocates.

Cons: The only Con I feel is the absence of Chat option in the platform.

Comments: Influitive offers our customers a fun way to engage with our content, essentially gamifying their interaction with our company and making it FUN for them. It also:

- Rewards our customers for activities that they do on a regular basis anyway (reading blogs, sharing on social, providing product feedback, providing testimonials and case studies)

- Provides our customers with an "exclusive Members-only community", and a place to facilitate industry discussions with peer-to-peer feedback.

- Creates opportunities for our customers that they never knew existed and never thought possible to attain.

- Allows our company to gain remain in tune with what our customers think, feel, want, and need.

- Support staff is helpful and quick to respond.

Cons:

- Onboarding was a little clunky, but we got through it.

- Wish there were more real examples to reference as we were building our hub.

- There are quite a few basic customizations that could be made (their Trello board is monitored regularly and updated frequently, so you're definitely able to add your suggestions there!).

Pros: The best part of the Influitive Advocate Hub is all the support you get! Amazing ideas, phenomenal tech support and the on-boarding and ongoing success team who are committed to helping you reach your goals...it's the total package. Of course, the product provides all the flexibility and power to adapt to your specific audience, goals and style. I have learned so much about customer advocacy in the last 6 months...it's phenomenal!

Cons: My least favorite part is that you need some of the higher end features to run campaigns efficiently. You can still do it, but it takes a bit more planning and some manual tracking.

Pros: I love how it gamifies advocacy marketing. It is easy to set goals for yourself while learning about the product as well as learning how to make your advocacy program more effective.

Cons: There was one reward I had set my sights on, but it expired before I could reach my coin goal! That is the only thing that has made me a bit sad since using the product - and even then, they added some pretty cool new rewards this month.

Overall: This product is awesome! I started off as someone with NO idea about advocacy marketing, and the support and resources available have made learning really quick and effective. I know if there is anything I need more information about or help with, I can get it easily!

Pros: I really like the fact that I can learn a lot about my customers through the platform and build relationships with a large amount of them at a time. It helps me learn more about their needs, wants, and how our company can better serve them. In addition, it is a great way to find things such as customer references, speakers, and more, Finally, the support team is very respectful, kind, and prompt in their responses.

Cons: Missing a few minor features in challenge creation, but a pro of this is that you can request features to be added. Haven't seen the results of this yet, though.

Pros: The ease of use and amount of customization, allowing you to brand it as your own and create a fun, easy way for customers to interact with you and other like-minded individuals.

Cons: Some of the "stages" of building a challenge can get confusing, but the support is amazing! I always get a prompt answer and the help I need.

Overall: Influitive's platform is an amazing way to mobilize your advocates and grow your community. We launched just over a month ago and already have a solid base of advocates providing feedback on our products and services and participating in our community!

Recommendations to other buyers: You're missing out if you're not promoting customer advocacy, and Influitive is the ONLY option I would recommend!

Comments: As a community manager for our new advocacy program I can attest that the Influitive experience is an excellent one. From when we first began our engagements with the company to our soft launch we've seen results right away. We haven't even hard launched yet and I can safely say that I've seen an increase of engagement in our channel network. Prior to Influitive it was a challenge to get the attention of our partners who are extremely busy. Things have changed for the better. As for the Salesforce integration, it gives our Sales team to nominate advocates automatically. It also allows them to suggest references. We haven't used the referral integration as of yet (too early) but I can already guess that it will be a seamless success. Only good things to say about Influitive. You should check them out.

Pros: Amazing onboarding process (project management was a breeze) Intuitive platform and interface Quick support, super helpful and prompt

Cons: Not many really I can't think of any Just being honest

Comments: Influitive's advocacy engagement platform is smart, easy to use, and allows program administrators to be extremely creative. Influitive has helped us take our referral program to a new level -- it gives our team the ability to engage more frequently with our partners and understand their preferences, needs, and motivations. I also cannot write a review without mentioning the fantastic Influitive team that helped us customize our user experience to meet our program requirements. They truly went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I would like to specifically call out Steve and Julia for being the best onboarding team I've ever worked with.

Pros: Great people, platform, customer service, community engagement, best practices and other helpful resources. Also - frequent product updates you didn't even know you wanted. Their product team is incredible and the entire company is always looking out for ways to improve their product and incorporate customer feedback and requests.

Cons: Slightly difficult to accommodate a program that is not primarily intended for customers. Analytics and CRM integration capabilities could be stronger.

Comments: Influitive has allowed us to get closer to our customers while in the process identify advocates for our company. We've had so much success with our customer advocacy hub that we have rolled it out internally with our sales team to centralize our sales enablement and training.

Pros: customer support, coaches, ability to tailor/customize to your specific business objectives.

Cons: What's been great about working with Influitive is that any time we do come across a limitation with the product, they collaborate with us on how to solve our particular challenge.

Comments: Before selecting Influitive, I evaluated a lot of platforms. It's been nearly 18 months since we implemented and I have no doubts this is the best platform for customer advocacy and engagement. As a B2B technology organization in a competitive space we needed help: - Generating new revenue via customer referrals - Accelerating the sales process with customer references - Improving our product with more customer feedback - Building awareness through reviews, testimonials and more Our work with Influitive has helped us meet or exceed all of the program goals we set out with.

Pros: - Great support for customers (both proactive and reactive) - Platform is easy to use and streamlines process - Easy to engage with a large volume of advocates - Constantly rolling out new features

Cons: - Would like to see integrations with Oracle | Eloqua and Google Docs - Subscription management for advocate email preferences can be a challenge

Comments: We use Influitive to help drive new business through customer referrals. We also use it to help move leads through the sales process with references and customer hosted on sites. We are better able to get to know our customers, reward them for their help and overall drive our key initiatives such as new Product adoption, product awareness etc.

Pros: You get to know your clients beyond the typical relationship. We build trust and loyal customers.

Cons: You have to be on your toes and continue to push creativity with new challenges and engagement opportunities in the hub.

Overall: AdvocateHub is a powerful solution that is easy to implement and fun to use. The platform lets you form enduring, meaningful relationships with your customers on a 1:1 basis unlike any other touchpoint. It's a referral engine, and retention platform, and a cool way to interact with your end-users. You can gather insightful product feedback, cultivate brand ambassadors, start a beta test group, line up a diverse pipeline of reference customers, and have fun while doing it all. The team at Influitive is a hard-working, dedicated bunch, and you'll love working with each and every person there.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take time on the organizational plan that you develop, as that is an important phase in any implementation. Involve sales, bus dev, product, customer success, and support. Each of these teams, in addition to marketing, will play a significant role in your advocate marketing program.

Comments: We launched our advocate program in May 2014 and shortly after selected Influitive AdvocateHub as the program/vendor to operationalize our advocate program. 2 years later we're still very pleased with the selection of Influitive and they've been an incredible partner in our success and created a 'sticky' experience that our clients really enjoy participating in. We've experienced the ROI of our AdvocateHub directly through references, referrals, reviews, beta testing, client engagement and feedback, and much more. I use Influitive AdvocateHub daily now to engage and operationalize our advocate program and many of our customer marketing demand generation initiatives. If you're looking to start your own advocate marketing program or your looking to take customer marketing/demand generation to the next level at your organization, I encourage you to give Influitive a look. If you're like us, you'll be extremely happy you did thanks to the results it helps you achieve!

Comments: For many companies, rolling out Influitive will represent their first foray into the world of customer advocacy and gamification programs. When we got the idea to start up a program like this, our goals were to encourage referrals and find a way to keep customers engaged. While our program is only 2 months old, we have made small but encouraging gains toward these goals already. But what really sets Influitive apart is the customer service.

Pros: Really great customer success, implementation, support, etc -- all my contacts with the staff of Influitive are positive, responsive and very helpful. Flexible tool that is always being improved. Team that really listens and cares.

Cons: Because it's a constantly evolving piece of SaaS, there are sometimes instances of functions not working as expected. But as soon as I let the team know about these, they always rectify it immediately.

It completely does what it says it does.

Comments: We've been using AdvocateHub since January. We use it to build community and gain referrals from both the client and provider side of our marketplace, and we've integrated it with our SaaS platform and with Salesforce. The onboarding experience is time-intensive but completely invaluable; like many products, you only get out of it what you put into it. Overall, I'm thrilled by the onboarding experience and the nearly immediate results we've seen from AdvocateHub. I rarely see any product that lives up to the sales hype, but (if anything) their sales team underestimated both business benefits and the product's ease of use. I have non-techies in my company who are able to flawlessly administer our AdvocateHub - that was quite a pleasant surprise!

Pros: Easy to setup, world-class customer support and onboarding, it does what it's supposed to do.

Cons: Some features are still in beta, and my developers get a little frustrated with integration sometimes.

Comments: I'm using Influitive to run an Advocate online hub of our customers and have found that we've been able to collect great testimonials and quotes from our customers to use in marketing material.

Pros: - engaging tool that uses gamification to keep customers interested in the hub - great resource for gathering feedback on our product and services - let's our customers know that we care about them and what they think about our product - great way to create a group of ongoing references for our prospects - BEST SUPPORT TEAM!

Cons: - not able to see the full advocate view without loggin out and signing in as an advocate (difficult to toggle back and forth between different views if you have multiple segments in the hub, i.e. employees vs customers - the back end can be a little confusing at first

Comments: AdvocateHub is perfect for the marketer who wants to extend their reach beyond traditional channels and explore the brave new world of brand advocates. Harnessing the power and potential of people "out there" who love your brand is tricky when using email and spreadsheets to track touch points and advocates events or engagements. AdvocateHub is a super fun game-like environment that not only keeps your advocates coming back to complete "challenges" related to your brand, it gives you - the marketer - a way to actually track and measure ROI with the Hub's excellent reporting tools.

Pros: - Fun, game-like environment - Very easy to nav on the back end - Excellent built-in reporting tools - Allows you to scale-up quickly and easily - Drive references, referrals via plug-in to SFDC - Good community around product

Cons: - As your program grows, so does the pricetag, but that's standard SaaS!

Comments: We already had happy customers, but that wasn't enough. We needed to scale word-of-mouth and customer advocacy to support inbound marketing, product development, and sales enablement initiatives. Influitive gave us a platform in which we could create an engaging, rewarding experience for our best customers that benefits QuickBase, customers, employees, and partners. With reasonable effort from just one team member, we've driven over 7,000 advocacy activities from our most vocal customers.

Pros: Great onboarding experience, ongoing consultation on best practices, intuitive interface, solid integrations with marketing automation, CRM, and other software.

Cons: Reporting could be stronger.
