Pros: We're using the AdvocateHub to run our advocate marketing program - Homeroom. The tool helps us communicate with our customers in a meaningful way and reward them for everything that they do for our business. Not only can we provide tools and resources to help customers with our product but we can drive measurable results by building out testimonials, a reference pool, and revenue through referrals. The tool is intuitive, easy to use and is adaptable. The first thing I noticed when I started using the AdvocateHub was how easy it is to use and how flexible the platform is. This enables me to adapt my program and shape it to fit my needs and strategies. Influitive is committed to ensuring their customers are successful. I noticed from the beginning that the company is dedicated to ensuring that my program is successful which is a huge benefit of using their platform. It feels more like a partnership than a vendor relationship.

Cons: I can not think of anything that can be changed or improved upon. In order to have a successful Advocate Marketing program, you need to have someone to execute and manage it. Also, I would advise that you start with your strategy and use that as your guiding light.

Pros: It has allowed us to make connections with our 70K+ customer base, which has been difficult for us to do in the past. We can get to know them, share VIP benefits and help them use our tools better. The platform is user-friendly for customers, and we can target our most engaged and those we'd like to see more of. The customer support team is always quick to respond to our questions and concerns.

Cons: As a global organization, we've had issues making this platform multi-lingual which will continue to be a problem for us in the future. Some of the functionality on the administrative side is frustrating, especially on the reporting side. I am confident that advancements on this front are on the way.

Pros: I like that customers have a fun way to interact with us and each other while learning best practices around our industry and product. It's a great way to uncover customers who are willing to advocate for your company via testimonials, reviews, webinars, referrals, etc.

Cons: The only change I would like to see is on the admin side of our Hub. When browsing through templates and one is selected, if you go back it makes you start over.

Cons: My Support Consultant is new, but so am I, and I already feel that I am a more advanced user of the product than she is. The UI is really lacking, and there are a lot of little glitches and slowdowns, at least on the back-end

Pros: -Great services! I have contacted Influitive Support and they always gave me support in a great delay. -Coaching: They have coaches that help you define aims and more importantly to reach them! -Advocate View: Aesthetic, intuitive as well as easy-to-use. Never heard any issues from our users. -Influitive VIP: Using the product is the best way to learn about it and I must say their hub is great for this. I have learned many things from how to manage my hub to how advocates think while browsing our hub. -Resources: They have SO many resources it's unbelievable! It's perfect to learn more about the product and how to engage your advocates.

Cons: -Admin View (UI): It can sometimes be hard to understand/find what you are looking for. However, they have many resources and you are sure to find answers to your questions. -Mobile App: It needs to be refreshed and I have heard they are working on it therefore it might become a pro in the future.

Pros: The ability to have a communication hub that doesn't involve mass emails or long lists of advocates in a spreadsheet. The ability to ask advocates for help on the random marketing needs that come forth is a huge asset.

Cons: It can be tricky to learn the nuances of the platform when it comes to writing, editing or emailing challenges that have been created. Also can be tricky to get settings and processes right for importing advocates into the system.

All you need isn't love. It's Influitive AdvocateHub!

Pros: The platform is very user-friendly but what I most like is the team behind it. They are always ready to help and provide you with resources and best-practice advice. The support team is going up and beyond to resolve any issues you might have really quickly. I can honestly say that Influitive have spoiled me and I expect to get the same customer support from others. I'm even surprised when that doesn't happen! The platform helps us keep our customers and partners engaged with our products on a more informal level. We significantly improved our footprint and positioning on a third party review sites, we accelerated the quantity and the quality of customer references and boosted our company social amplification.

Cons: The only thing that I don't like is that email notifications sent from the hub land in spam folders. We managed to find a workaround but still, it's a bit more work.

Pros: I love the options that you have to engage your clients and customers. The way the app is set up really enables you to attract advocates and keep the coming back to support your company's brand.

Cons: I wish there was more assistance when applying integrations. I still don't understand them and I feel like they would really improve my experience as an admin for this app as well as for the users.

Pros: The customer support team is AMAZING and always willing to go out of their way. Influitive has great thought leadership content on customer advocacy and customer experience (blogs, articles, etc) as well.

Cons: The platform is pricey and requires a ton of administrative work - from day to day administration, to setting up and monitoring APIs, to creating the "challenges". If your company has the monetary and employee banwidth for it though, it can be a great investment.

Pros: Ease of use: The platform is extremely user-friendly and support is quick to respond to and resolve any issues. Influitive is constantly updating features and has a great roadmap site to submit additional feature requests. Our advocates have the ability to filter their activities so they can focus on the ones they find most meaningful. We are able to learn more about their interests and build stronger relationships to help with customer retention.

Cons: There are a few limitations with creating and targeting challenges, but these features can be requested and I have seen a few that have already been implemented.

Pros: Overall, the platform is great! It gives you a easy way to get feedback, points of view and help create a great relationship with your privileged customers. Plus, when it comes to SEO, it really can make a difference. Having people talk about you online, comment and write content for you is just amazing.

Cons: Honestly, the platform is great. I did have some troubles with integrations like Disqus, but in the end the only challenge is to get your people engaged. Engaging your people is the main objective and can sometimes be a hard thing to do.

Pros: Since implementing, we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of customers who create case studies with us, give feedback on third party review sites, participate in PR-related activities, and complete reference calls on our behalf. Influitive helps to keep our advocates happy and engaged.

Cons: Set up can be a bit challenging especially if you're integrating with other solutions (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo). However, most of the challenges were on our side and Influitive support was always quick to respond by email or phone to any of our issues. I would also say that this isn't a "flip the switch" type solution - if you want the results, you'll have to actively manage your AdvocateHub to keep customers engaged.

Pros: Influitive's AdvocateHub helped us drive measurable and meaningful change for several clients. It provides a way to identify, engage and motivate happy customers (and even turnaround those who aren't yet natural advocates). You can use it to assist in just about any strategy - for example, as an onboarding or educational tool, as a way to gather customer insights, as a way to collect user-generated content, and so on.

Cons: It is a bit pricey, but it saves so much time vs running an advocacy program manually. It is better suited to some industries/audiences vs others, but you may be surprised as to who will actually participate in a gamification experience.

Pros: I really like the fact that I can learn a lot about my customers through the platform and build relationships with a large amount of them at a time. It helps me learn more about their needs, wants, and how our company can better serve them. In addition, it is a great way to find things such as customer references, speakers, and more, Finally, the support team is very respectful, kind, and prompt in their responses.

Cons: Missing a few minor features in challenge creation, but a pro of this is that you can request features to be added. Haven't seen the results of this yet, though.

Pros: The discussion board is great, the content generated from it, and the referrals gathered are all wonderful.

Comments: Influitive is a critical part of our marketing technology stack. The platform allows us to organize advocates in one tool, track their activities, easily reward and recognize advocates, and dynamically adjust our asks (for reviews, feedback, etc.) to deliver what our business needs.

Pros: Customer love it! Library of integrations Excellent training / onboarding materials Simple reporting Consistently deliver improvements, and provide insights (and the opportunity to influence) their roadmap

Cons: For organizations with very strict Info Security requirements/processes, the SFDC integration might be limited.

Pros: The platform does exactly what is says: gives you a framework you can use to engage your customers. Influitive is an awesome tools that makes it easy for you to get referrals, reviews on 3rd party sites and create content around your company's product.

Comments: I have only been using Influitive for a few months (although the hub I am working on has been around longer), and I have found it so easy to learn. The customer support team and my Influitive coach are always there to answer my questions and provide guidance. There is no other platform that my team and I have encountered that has the same capabilities that Influitive has. Perfect platform for a customer loyalty program.

Pros: -User Friendly -Amazing customer support team -Platform great for finding references, writing reviews, finding speakers, etc. -Great way to reward your customers for being advocates for your brand

Cons: -Targeting issues (although Influitive does send you updates when they are found/fixed) -A lot of time is spent on managing the hub including producing content, engaging with advocates, responding to their questions, fulfilling rewards, etc. (so make sure you are prepared for this commitment)

Recommendations to other buyers: Lots of planning! You don't want your hub to wither away. Make sure you always have lots of content available to use and keep it updated every day to encourage members to come in.

Pros: The employees at Influitive are amazing. Their support team is always there to help. The app itself is pretty slick and easy to use, for the most part. It just makes it super easy and clear to the advocates what they need to do and what they get out of it (gamification, rewards, education, recognition).

Cons: There are integrations with Salesforce and Marketo and some other systems. I had some trouble getting all of this set up to work properly. The documentation is a little scattered and unclear, and it was kind of difficult to get a single point of contact to work through these technical issues with me. But once we pushed through it, it works well!

HIGHLY recommend this to any marketer especially customer advocacy!

Pros: The best part of the Influitive Advocate Hub is all the support you get! Amazing ideas, phenomenal tech support and the on-boarding and ongoing success team who are committed to helping you reach your goals...it's the total package. Of course, the product provides all the flexibility and power to adapt to your specific audience, goals and style. I have learned so much about customer advocacy in the last 6 months...it's phenomenal!

Cons: My least favorite part is that you need some of the higher end features to run campaigns efficiently. You can still do it, but it takes a bit more planning and some manual tracking.

Comments: I'm a new user of the platform (I inherited it from someone who left). I didn't "get it" before but now I really see the value of having such close interaction with our advocates. It's another point of contact for us to create a real relationship with our customers and be able to nurture that relationship every day. Not just when there's a problem.

Pros: Easy to use. Their support is spot on (The support Staff is on top of things and always there when I need him). They offer a coach who helps you along. He is fantastic. You really feel like Influitive is there for you and their number one goal is to have you succeed.

Cons: I don't have any cons at this time.

Recommendations to other buyers: Get it. It's a great tool to interact with your customers and get to know them on a personal level.

Comments: We worked with our client and evaluated several platforms and chose Influitive. We used Influitive to create a customer advocacy program for a hardware and software company that sells B2B. Our top need was to support the field organization with references and secondarily to "rise above the clutter" of other vendors.

Pros: Our customers love the program we set up. We had a core group of loyal and supportive customers, but the program has enabled us to nearly triple the pool of supporters. The nature of the challenges enables customers to do as much or as little as they want, but the engagement is much higher than I expected. The integration with Salesforce is great (though I would recommend cleaning up Salesforce as much as possible before you launch), reporting is robust and easily customizable.

Cons: The Discussions area has a lot of potentials, but it functions more as a "bolted-on" product versus a nicely integrated feature.

Recommendations to other buyers: Plan, plan, plan. Think about how you want to build the advocate profile so you start with good data, thing long term about engagement, and involve as many parts of the organization as possible.

Cons: Can be slightly tedious.

Overall: My experience is somewhat unique in the advocacy world. I needed a number of highly technical, personalized innovations in order to meet the needs of a new initiative. The representatives at Influitive worked with me almost from day one to design, build and implement these integrations, meeting as often as we needed. They went to bat for me regularly, and both my personal and company's success is a direct result of their help.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't be afraid to take wrong steps, but read as much documentation as possible (Influitive has a TON of content available to help)

Comments: I absolutely love Influitive's Advocate Hub. It makes obtaining customer case studies, testimonials, reviews and feedback so seamlessly simple! It's a fun, engaging platform that allows us to build rapport with our most influential customers. We have seen a significant amount of improvement in content and quotes than we can so easily pull.

Pros: Easy to use both on the back end and customer facing. Great coaches and support for anytime you have questions. Ability to create SubGroups - huge for a Regional Marketing Strategy standpoint.

Cons: Sometimes the sequence of building out challenges and their stages can be challenging, it takes some strategy surrounding each one. Also, I wish there were more opportunities for other users from similar backgrounds to share their experiences and best practices. For example, I work in ed tech, I wish I had an opportunity to connect with other ed tech users within Influitive as part of the best practices of onboarding.

Comments: This product was a great step up from using a manual advocate marketing tool and allowed my team to create a hub for some of our best customers to get involved in a number of ways to spread brand awareness and drive traffic to our business.

Pros: Really great having an individual coach who is here to help me help my hub succeed - never once have felt pressured by an upsell and it seems as though everyone I talk to with a question or concern has been attentive and responsive.

Cons: Could be more integrations, especially with social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook)

Recommendations to other buyers: Great way to start if you're a smaller company looking to get into advocate marketing. It does require a substantial amount of time and you need to know your customers to determine who to invite and get on board.

Pros: Always upgrading, ease of use, and great support

Cons: Sometimes it has it's limitations that other portals are great for

Overall: We have had influitive for approx 2 years now, and it has helped in many ways towards social sharing to references to getting feed back on a product. We have only heard good things about it from our customers & are looking to expand. As we are expanding, a few issues have come up where we wish the product would have the ability (for example house uploadable documents) but that will hopefully come in the future

Comments: We use Influitive as a customer loyalty program. Once inside the hub it allows our customers to pick what reference activities they want to participate in a fun and exciting way.

Pros: Without this product we wouldn't have found customers to complete reference activities.

Cons: It is not all automated so be prepared to spend at least 5-6 hours a week managing your hub

Comments: WebPT is an Electronic Medical Record for over 60,000 Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. We were looking to scale our ability to provide the white glove service our Members deserve, while ensuring their involvement in a community to generate amazing, organic conversations between them. We also wanted to streamline our ability to capture this information for customer generated content, while also making it easy for them to join reference programs and refer new customers.

Pros: - Provides a social community for customers to engage with one another. - Rewards them for the things they're already doing - Shows our customers we appreciate the efforts they take when engaging with our brand. - Rewards/points gamification is an awesome and fun feature. - Great information with lots of ideas. - A strong community of their own members for support. - Support team is awesome.

Cons: - Unfortunately their software has quite a few glitches, making inviting new customers and creating new challenges, challenging. - Onboarding process wasn't the smoothest. - Lots of resources, but no direction as to where to start first. - Small irritations like, can't delete segmentation groups or advocates we nominated.

Recommendations to other buyers: Ask a lot of questions! Watch all the webinars. Attend the EDGE classes. Influitive is a lot to learn, and you'll be overwhelmed, but stick with it.

Cons: Wish it had a content calendar and the ability to post custom copy for social shares for Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn instead of just Twitter.

Overall: We were already running Influitive for our customers when I came on board. With the success of our customer portal, we decided to also launch it for our associates. We have generated case studies, videos, product reviews, referrals, references, etc. via Influtive and has given us a chance to really get to know our customers. The success coaches I've worked with are awesome. They have helped us brainstorm campaigns, show us new features, and are quick to respond with support questions. We've had a great experience using Influitive and they are keeping up with the latest trends by releasing new integrations and features each month.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure you have someone dedicated to running the portal, at least to start. You can do a lot of great things with Influitive if you have the time to do it.

Cons: How they calculate ROI can be a bit confusing

Overall: Influitive offers an easy to use, fun and interactive hub, for both yourself as an admin and for your advocates. I¿ve only been using the product for less than three weeks and already get the hang of it. Even if you don¿t have a creative mind, their support team and templates help make your hub engaging and fun!

It is an awesome platform that is a win-win for both parties: allows the opportunity for you to engage with your advocates and reward them for being valuable members, and in turn you can get great feedback from your advocates such as reviews on products participating in events and more.

The best part is their support team is attentive and personable, always being either a quick email or phone call away to answer any of your questions. They are always working to improve the product by adding news features and they keep you updated 24/7 if issues ever come up.

Comments: Influitive offers our customers a fun way to engage with our content, essentially gamifying their interaction with our company and making it FUN for them. It also:
- Rewards our customers for activities that they do on a regular basis anyway (reading blogs, sharing on social, providing product feedback, providing testimonials and case studies)
- Provides our customers with an "exclusive Members-only community", and a place to facilitate industry discussions with peer-to-peer feedback.
- Creates opportunities for our customers that they never knew existed and never thought possible to attain.
- Allows our company to gain remain in tune with what our customers think, feel, want, and need.
- Support staff is helpful and quick to respond.

Cons:
- Onboarding was a little clunky, but we got through it.
- Wish there were more real examples to reference as we were building our hub.
- There are quite a few basic customizations that could be made (their Trello board is monitored regularly and updated frequently, so you're definitely able to add your suggestions there!).

Comments: I just started using influtive and I can honestly say it has helped my team grow as marketers. With customer advocacy growing within the marketing world, this tool has really helped solve many problems. Foremost, this product helps us drive reviews, referrals, and customer reference calls. On top of those major tools, it also allows our customers to engage with us on a new platform besides just a forum. Customers find this way of engagement fun, collaborative, and innovative.

Comments: I use Influitive to manage a hub for each of our brands. The site has allowed us to increase referrals and engage more advocates. The program itself is fairly easy to use and they offer training to help reduce the learning curve. The only thing I am not a fan of is the manual process of obtaining informational results from the challenges I create.

Pros: Referrals! The increase in referrals has been a benefit to our company.

Cons: Manual results- it is too difficult to obtain the results from my advocates after they complete a challenge.

Comments: We use Influitive as our main customer hub to share information, news, content, events, product updates & more. The model of sharing information with customers and using the discussion boards works well. However the rewards component of the hub is more of a challenge since it's tough to see the value of what you're getting from customers compared with the money you're spending on rewards.

Pros: Good community platform and discussion boards - the fun aspect makes it easier to engage with customers.

Cons: The rewards do not always generate genuine responses from customers and it's hard to correlate value between the money you're spending and the feedback and participating you're getting from customers.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you have a very social, active customer base that likes to participate in all kinds of opportunities, this could be an option for you. However, if your customer base is a bit more conservative, it could be a challenge getting them to engage in this fashion.

Comments: For those of you that have not become passionate about Advocate Marketing - you need to get on board now. And, for those of you that have not chosen an Advocate Marketing partner - you absolutely need to connect with Influitive. I've been working with the AdvocateHub now for about 6 months now, and we've already seen some amazing results. Customers are engaging with challenges, we are getting testimonials from customers on software review sites like G2 crowd, they are engaging with us in Discussion forums, sharing our content via social networks, etc. Not only is the product great, but the team is really spectacular. Don't wait, contact them now!

Pros: Very easy to create challenges that engage advocates. the concept of gaming that is embedded in everything is highly addictive and just draws you into doing more and more.

Cons: it would be nice to have better capabilities that let advocates find other advocates with similar questions, similar interests, etc. I know they are working on a new messaging feature that is supposed to be out in the next few months. hopefully, this will be a big step forward in allowing advocates to easily connect with other advocates.

Recommendations to other buyers: seriously, don't wait. i've been a marketer for almost 30 years. theres lots of different strategies and tactics to market and sell your product, but nothing beats having your customers endorse/sell your product for you. Nothing.

Pros: Simple for clients to pick up and use. It is also extremely versatile so it supports my advocate needs for all departments.

Cons: It takes a serious commitment from the company to adopt the software and for it to be successful. I suggest bringing in someone extremely excitable and a go getter to lead the introduction of the Hub to the company. Show each department how it benefits them and your entire company will benefit from one simple solution.

Overall: Our company decided a year ago to focus portion of our team on having our customers tell our story and speak in the industry for us instead of just traditional marketing we had been doing. Our return on customer advocate marketing has been dramatic. I do not think you need to change and throw out your traditional marketing methods but our advocates give us the testimonials and other assets we leverage. No one wants to be sold anymore we want to hear reviews and learn from others who are in our shoes and thats what influitive helps you focus on!

Cons: They're still building out some needed features. I wish the admin view was a bit more helpful in some places, and the mobile experience needs an overhaul.

Comments: We have been searching for new channels and avenues to increase sales for some time now and finally decided to look into advocate marketing after running into Influitive at a trade show. Advocate marketing is an idea that makes so much sense, but not many people in marketing know about it. Why not use your most loyal customers to do your marketing for you? Word of mouth and referrals have always had the highest conversion and win rate %, and the Influitive program uses gamification to drive this. In addition to this, it has really engaged our internal employees and I'll walk around my office and hear chatter about who has more points, or who's close to redeeming what rewards from our reward catalog. I manage many different systems at CAKE, including Salesforce and Marketo, but Influitive has definitely been the most fun for me to manage. I really can't say enough about Influitive!

With an incredibly detailed onboarding process and a culture of using their own platform to engage with their customers, Influitive makes it relatively easy for anyone to start an advocacy program for their business. If you're looking to get to a customer conference someday or build towards a referral stream the best time to evaluate Influitive is the present.

Pros: It's really fun - the gamification is a blast. Customers seem to really enjoy it.

Cons: We had a tough run with our SSO set up - this could use some polish.

Overall: No matter how small or silly my questions are, Inflluitive has the BEST customer service! We run a pretty complex set of platforms (five in total) and they are all different. Anytime I have a question, I get quality support and help and my problems are always fixed.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a really multidimensional product. We use it for referrals, advocacy and for engaging our resellers. If you have multiple brands, really talk to your sales rep about how it will work - we had to sign up for five instances to get it to work.

Pros: I love how it gamifies advocacy marketing. It is easy to set goals for yourself while learning about the product as well as learning how to make your advocacy program more effective.

Cons: There was one reward I had set my sights on, but it expired before I could reach my coin goal! That is the only thing that has made me a bit sad since using the product - and even then, they added some pretty cool new rewards this month.

Overall: This product is awesome! I started off as someone with NO idea about advocacy marketing, and the support and resources available have made learning really quick and effective. I know if there is anything I need more information about or help with, I can get it easily!

Cons: I really can't think of anything I dislike. The price seems a little steep (but you get a dedicated coach to help you set everything up, and the support team is AMAZING).

Comments: The idea of customer advocacy and customer marketing is a new way of thinking within B2B business. I feel fortunate that we have chosen a partnership with Influitive, who in my mind, is the leader in this particular space. Our implementation was quite easy and even with my competing priority of creating an online user community at the same time. Their customer support is quite incredible. They are timely, polite, and sure to close the loop. The knowledge base articles are great and usually show walk-throughs and how-to's on nearly everything. I also appreciate their willingness to continue to foster partnership through ongoing coaching with advocacy experts every two weeks. They have even gone so far as to add me to a great SLACK group with Awesome Advocate Marketers from around the world to learn and grow. As a result of our coaching, execution, and leveraging the software within the first 30 days we have had 12 new software reviews, 9 referral leads, and 10+ users raising their hand to be references. I have been blown away with our results and so have my executives. We are going to continue to build on our early success and leverage this tool at an upcoming event - specifically with Influitive's great mobile app. Another thing I appreciate about Influitive is they are constantly learning, growing and trying new things. Their own VIP AdvocateHub is a great place to learn about the company, what's coming around the corner, and also great advice to incorporate into your own hub. We are really looking forward to continuing our success with our Hub and ultimately mobilizing our advocates to spread the footprint of our brand and services via word of mouth, social, and reviews while having fun at the same time!

Pros: You truly get out what you put in. The time spent building campaigns and targeted challenges are directly related to what results you're able to yield thereafter. Their customer support is incredible. Their coaching is very helpful and they are all about building value for your Hub. If you are the sponsor, rest assured you will have plenty of benchmarking and metrics to present to your executive teams.

Cons: No real cons to speak of at this time. Like any other B2B company, they are interested in appending add-on solutions such as API links to Marketo, Salesforce, SSO etc. These do cost money and are typically not included in a base contract.

Recommendations to other buyers: Buy it! It is an absolutely incredible solution that is like no other out there right now. This tool really does allow you to unleash the power of word of mouth through the customers that truly love you. It also allows you to begin fostering a B2C relationship with you B2B customers. It's really neat to create real relationships with meaningful customers that you maybe didn't even know loved you!

Comments: I have had nothing but great interactions with The Influitive Customer Service Team. They respond quickly to any emails and are willing to go above and beyond (even when I have a silly question). This has been a great experience and I try to let them know as often as possible how much I appreciate their help!

Pros: - Respond quickly - Always polite and patient -No such thing as a dumb question

Cons: -We work with multiple brands under multiple hubs - so sometimes it can be a little confusing when we have issues. However, The Influitive Support Gang always takes the time to figure it out.

Comments: If you're just starting a new program, you can't do better than Influitive's AdvocateHub platform. The only reason I gave it 4-stars for features is that as your program matures, you'll start to run up against platform limitations and things can get a little stale/repetitive. Even so, there's no better platform that I've found.

Pros: - Robust platform, and continuing to improve - Best customer support ever - Our customers love it (it's fun and engaging) - Drives measurable business results for us

Cons: - Can get a bit stale for mature programs. That said, there's no better program in the category.

Recommendations to other buyers: Jump in with both feet. You will not regret it. I've been using it for 2+ years now and am going deeper into Customer Marketing as a career with largely Influitive's AdvocateHub to thank for it.

Pros: Ease of use; implementation is painless; ongoing innovation; great transparency; excellent community of practitioners.

Cons: I don't have many issues with Influitive. The software isn't perfect but they are ALWAYS working to make it better. That might sound like it's easy to get left behind, but they've managed to keep a consistency in the user experience that doesn't alienate legacy users when updating.

Overall: I've worked with Influitive at multiple companies. I've implemented them at two of those companies. Each time I've had an excellent experience with the implementation team and the customer support team. Adam Gerard - a customer success manager - is one of my favorite people in B2B. Truman Tang is equally awesome. If you invest with Influitive, you can feel the weight of their company behind your success. They want you to win over your influencers, and they want to see you thrive as an advocate marketing specialist. Influitive will help your business and your career.

Recommendations to other buyers: Have cross-department buy-in and a coherent goal in mind before you implement Influitive. I'd recommend identifying particularly vocal clients - negative and positive alike - and having a working session to discuss how you can translate that energy into something positive for your company and customers.

Wonderful tool, ROI in weeks if you can have a dedicated person work on it!

Pros: The customization is wonderful. Influitive spends a lot of time setting up training for you, offering a customized portal within Influitive to get you started (insert Inception sound effects here). There is so much to do, but they help you bite it off piece by piece until, poof, you've got your very own advocate portal with real live customers talking with you and engaging daily.

If you look at it as a partnership then you'll succeed easily. Using their advice on rewards systems, challenges and content will get you up and running. Afte that it's definitely something that needs to be managed, but their newer reporting engine shows a lot of the ROI metrics we're tracking to prove effectiveness and success of the product internally.

As a side note - we're getting unsolicited product feedback from our most engaged advocates which is helping our product team figure out more about their use cases.

Cons: It takes a village. You're going to want a dedicated person to take point on this project. Any why wouldn't you? This is your communication to your customers and gives them the ability to engage with you in a way you've probably never been able to before (if you have, it probably didn't scale well).

It's not a cheap product, but it's also very effective once you put some time into it - you're paying for quality here. And don't get me wrong, it takes time. Buy-in from your customer support team is crucial so they can make sure that you implement it fast and get your ROI. You'll want buy-in from marketing to make sure that the customer audience feels loved. You'll finally want to make sure your product management team is excited to get more feedback. With all of these together you can definitely succeed.

Overall: We've been growing our hub quickly after implementing it a few months back. The ability to get private discussions going in our forum and gather valuable feedback has already put us to a point where ROI is pretty easy to see. Product Management is getting feedback like never before and Marketing is able to build relationships to get more webinar participation as well as messaging feedback.

We're just about to roll out referrals as a challenge so we're still new to the platform and I can't speak to the increase in referrals, but our engagement has been through the roof.

Recommendations to other buyers: Put the time into it. If you do you'll be loving the visibility you get into your customer's roles and desires around your product.

Comments: I'm new to using Influitive, but in the 1 month I've been using it I am a big fan! I think it is a great way to network with advocates, and it allows me to connect with our advos in interesting ways.

Pros: The support and coaching team are really terrific to help you get onboarded and feel connected to the platform. They also host their own VIP community which is super helpful in building out new challenges. They're responsive and the platform is alot of fun to use

Cons: The engagement doesn't work for everyone, you will have people who join the platform but do nothing. Be patient with them and segment your audience by their desires.

Overall: We've been using Crimson Hexagon for a few months now and it's been a really terrific experience. It didn't take long to see a significant uptick in our engagement and connection to our users.

Recommendations to other buyers: Really think about your company ethos and want you want to portray about the brand. Develop into that persona and run with it as you build the challenges.

Pros: Influitive helps to humanize the interactions between customer and vendor. Influitive has provided us with a unique, fun, and engaging platform that allows us to connect with our customers. What's great is that you can tailor the challenges and experience to each advocate individually. The software allows you to drill-down into what motivates each advocate, and allows us to use that to our advantage.

Cons: Not necessarily a con, but more a realization, that we needed to scale down our expectations. This is not a program that will generate immense change overnight, but rather helps foster connections and encourage engagement. Be patient and persistent, and you'll see results. Also - their reporting capabilities could use some work.

Overall: We launched our advocacy program with Influitive roughly 2/3 months ago, and the impact on our marketing activities has been very noticeable. Over this time frame, we've already received 25+ reviews, completed 5+ case studies (which prior to Influitive, 1 could have taken over 6 months to complete), received 15+ usable testimonials, and much more. It's been a learning experience, especially since we had no community prior to launch, however, I've been nothing but pleased with the overall result.

Recommendations to other buyers: As someone else mentioned, be well prepared before launch. Generate a mix of 50-60 challenges and you'll be good to go. Also, with your launch email, have a clear call-to-action, and a plan in place to attract new advocates once you've sent all email notifications.

Overall: My experience just continues to improve with time. I enjoy having a place for all my customers to interact, learn and share a bit of their personality with others and my company. Comments: Influitive is our platform of choice for communicating with 40k+ customers who use HireRight background screening services around the globe. The platform allows us to drive customer retention, reviews, references, and referrals, while building a relationship with customers. We are more than pleased with the platform and see nothing but opportunity ahead.

Pros: The Influitive team is amazing - they are very supportive, helpful - you really get a sense that they care about your program. Customers are spreading the word about the program too! They are recommending colleagues to join and talking to HireRight team members about the value gained from participating.

Cons: There is a time commitment to launching the program and managing long term, but it's worth every bit of energy. Who doesn't want more customer reviews, references, and referrals?

Comments: We implemented Influitive a year ago and have just signed on for another year. Prior to creating our advocate hub, it was extremely difficult for our marketing team to keep in touch with customers, find out what they need, and ask them for input. (We are a niche software company that makes reporting and document components for other B2B software companies.) After setting up the mutually beneficial platform, however, we are all better for it. Our company has a better grasp on our customers' needs -- e.g. customers use the program to give suggestions on how to improve our products -- and we are able to translate their good will into useful ways, such as reviews on third party review sites like G2 Crowd and IT Central Station.

Pros: Influitive does what it promises: helps us connect with customers and get them to advocate for us. The platform is easy to use and is constantly introducing new features and upgrading current ones. Support is on the ball and overall we're extremely happy with this program.

Cons: We've had a harder time than anticipated getting customers to submit referrals via the platform. This isn't necessarily Influitive's fault but so far that piece of the puzzle hasn't been solved.

Pros: The platform has lots of great features including gamification, leaderboard, segmentation, email notifications, discussion forums, and automated reward fulfillment. It is easy to implement (only took us 3 weeks from initial training session to launch). It enables advocates to choose the activities that most interest them. It is fun to use as an end user and administrator. It can be used for both customer and employee advocacy programs. The support team is very responsive and their knowledgebase includes great instructional videos.

Overall: We launched our AdvocateHub one month ago and have already seen significant improvement in engagement in our community, which was a primary goal. In addition, our AdvocateHub is helping us improve our customer reference program by enabling us to reach out directly to customers for referrals, references, testimonials and case studies.

Recommendations to other buyers: Create as many challenges as you can before launching. If you will be using it for both employee and customer advocacy, launch with employees first. We learned lots from having employees ¿test¿ our hub and challenges before we launched to customers.

Pros: The product is solid. As an admin I was responsible for creating challenges, coming up with point amounts and some other things. Influitive manages the software. I did a three month pilot to build and test our Mitel Champions Hub and didn't encounter any problems with the software.

The staff at Influitive is rock solid! I was assigned a success coach, Eli, who met with me weekly to set goals and work through action items in Basecamp. This was the highlight of my experience having someone guide me to build the best Hub I could! Anytime I had questions the team at Influitive has been stellar!

The folks at Influitive get marketing! This Hub is brilliant and is going to help us grow our social selling initiative and other marketing initiatives so much that we are thrilled we found the product!

Cons: Nothing. I've been incredibly impressed with this product!

Overall: I think one challenge is some companies haven't got the concept of "advocacy marketing" yet. Advocate marketing encompasses many different marketing departments. First and foremost, I see that it's a demand generation opportunity because you can get referrals from employees and customer advocates for new business. That's really powerful and Influitive already has templates and training on how to do this. Second, I think it's a major social media initiative. Every Friday since January 2014 I've sent out customer success Fridays with a new customer success. This includes suggested tweets but then employees have to cut and paste the content. With Influitive it's so easy for advocates just to click a button! The other ways you can leverage customer advocates are for online reviews, customer references, identifying customers for press/case studies/videos and so much more! There are so many opportunities to leverage our advocates and I think of new ways every day!

Pros: It gives us a fun and lighthearted way to connect with our customer base! Our company has a fairly aggressive sales strategy, so our customers sometimes grow weary of working with us. This is a much more fun and easy going way to connect with them - we're building trust!

Cons: It's still somewhat new, so they are working out some kinks and adding more functionality. It's good in some ways, because we the customers get to influence some of the changes and new functions that are being added, but at the same time, some features (such as certain reports) aren't yet available.

Overall: We're still fairly new with Influitive - less than 6 months in to our Hub. There have been a lot of learning experiences, but it seems like we're beginning to move in the right direction. For example, we started using Influitive with expectations as to how we would see ROI, and we've had to shift around our expectations with regards to what we're getting out of this. It will certainly still be valuable, not just in the way we originally anticipated.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure you get a really engaged Advocacy Coach - that makes ALL the difference while you're getting set up and preparing to launch your Hub. And if you do find that you're working with a less involved coach, make sure to voice your concerns and negotiate for one that meets your needs. The support team is great - make sure to become friends with them! Also, make sure to connect with Influitive's client - they provide a wealth of best practices and tips.

Pros: I like the support and the educational content that they release.

Cons: I struggle to prove ROI sometimes because of the reporting, but they recently made a ton of improvements to help with that!

Overall: We have had a very good experience with Influitive. We love that they provide not only a product but a ton of educational content for a topic that doesn't get enough attention - advocate marketing. I love learning from the experts at Influitive while running my own program, and applying their suggestions every day.

Comments: We were looking for a solution to reward our customers who consist of primarily gamers. We needed to find a solution that tapped into their competitive spirit and at the same time gain some loyal customers/fans at the same time.

Pros: Solution is very intuitive, interface was easy to figure out on your own, getting up and running was easy, and our customer service manage was always on top of things.

Cons: There are some features I would like to have at my finger tip. 1) Social reporting, the ability to track what reach your advocates have would be ideal 2) Advance reporting, I am a numbers guy, and I need the ability to crunch my own numbers. Canned reports are nice to begin with, but once you understand the solution, you start thinking of different ways reports you would like to run. 3) Template of responses, because I often have to respond the same thing to advocates, it would be nice to have a repository of response you can always reuse.

Comments: I've been using Influitive now for nearly 3 years and I've seen the product change and grow for the better. Not only has it been extremely impactful in the organizations I've worked for, it's helped us develop stronger relationships with key clients across the board. I particularly like how they're constantly adding new features to their arsenal and make it easier for developing new ideas to drive engagement and impact the bottle line.

For example, since using Influitive at NetBase we've seen a 5x increase in the number of positive reviews on sites like G2crowd and TrustRadius, 50% lift in the number of new referrals generated, countless opportunities for new case studies and video testimonials produced and tons more great stuff. Without a doubt, if you are a digital marketer and looking to connect with your customers then you need to stop looking and start implementing Influitive. Enough said.

Comments: From day one, we knew that Influitive knew their stuff. Their vision for client advocacy went from cutting edge to necessary in B2B organizations in the past few years. Their software is well thought-out and they are consistently releasing fantastic improvements.

We had our first closed won referral from the tool within 6 months- which was a faster than normal sales cycle for our business.

Comments: I was originally hesitant about making a bet on the Influitive software, as I was unsure about how our customers would respond to this type of loyalty program. Since launching, every day we see more value come from our program! Comments: Influitive is hands down one of the best vendor experiences I've ever had. Not only does the software deliver what it promises, the team that supports the software are a rare breed of fantastic. They do whatever it takes for you to have a positive experience that allows you, your community and your organization to grow.

Some of the impact we've seen as a result of their support

- Improved social referrals through Advocate Share (we saw 50,000 referral visits in just 3 months)

Comments: Using Influitive for the past 3 years has completely changed how my company does customer advocacy. It has helped us build and strengthen personal relationships with customers as well as raise awareness on our own new product features in an interesting way (no more boring feature emails for every little thing).

Comments: Pros: The Hub integrates seamlessly with Salesforce.com and helps you request references from Salesforce itself. Also referrals can be tracked via the integration and only when the referral converts to a customer, the referral challenge is considered successful.
It is a great tool for content marketing efforts. You can get your advocates to write blogs, do video testimonials, and even appear at events via the challenges
It is a cool way to reward your best advocates by giving them perks and rewards for their efforts in helping you get new customers or just market your product to their peers
The customer support is unbeatable. ask them a question within business hours and they will reply to you in minutes.

Cons: None whatsoever, just that sometimes it can be a challenge to justify ROI if your target audience is not engaged enough.

Comments: We have built an army of over 550 customer advocates in just over a year and we now use it as an internal sales advocacy platform as well. Customer support is outstanding and Influtitive is constantly innovating. Our metrics for third-party reviews, referrals and customer case studies/testimonials exceeded our expectations. The platform is easy to use and manage and we have a direct integration with Salesforce. We would recommend Influitive to anyone who is tired of managing a spreadsheet of customer references!

Comments: Very easy to use app for people of all tech skills and ages, super user intuitive! I would recommend downloading the app so you can do challenges and collect rewards on the go!

Comments: It seems like businesses are only just beginning to explore the benefits of advocate marketing, and for businesses looking to track and organize everything in one place, and generate referrals systematically, Influitive is great. But best of all, it's so much fun to run and so much fun for our advocates!

Comments: We adopted Influitive in it's infancy and have watched the program evolve. While the platform helps companies in a vast array of ways, we get the most value out of customer referrals, references, testimonials, and social media. We even increased our social presence by 106%!

Comments: Using Influitive has been a great experience for me and my colleagues. We were able to get up and running with the help of our on-boarding specialist and the transition into launch was as smooth as it could have gone. Comments: Influitive has provided us with a platform that has enabled us to motivate and mobilize our customers to become advocates for our company. We've had incredible success with our program and the hub is easy to use and creates a fun environment to engage customers and keep them coming back.

Pros: Easy to use. Very responsive support team. Coaches/Partners available to help guide you and grow your hub. Ability to customize your hub to meet specific business objectives.

Cons: While the product is still somewhat new, we do occasionally experience technical issues that can impact performance. There are also some limitations with reporting.
