### "Great POS for the money"

We use this software in A fast-paced restaurant environment. It is great to be able to take the tablets to the tables and get orders on the go no more running back-and-forth no more paper . It is easy to program and reprogram on the go with the quick edit feature. Every restaurant should have the ability to provide the high service standard thus pos provides.

Ease of use, quick editing.

Cons

When the network goes down between tablets.

We are a pizzeria. We have a lot of modifications and Toast has been helping use to get the POS system we envision. While it doesn't do everything (if one did they everyone would use it), they are receptive to helping us figure out how to meet our needs. We have a ways to go, but we've come a long ways from Micros.

Pros

Easy of data reporting and management.

Cons

Still many features only available at certain levels. Can't have both online ordering and pre-order. Controlling where online orders print in house. Force printing needed information.

Really effective software; highly recommend.

Pros

Cloud reports make data analysis a piece of cake. It's so easy to create new buttons, adjust hours, and 86 items from any computer

Cons

Very rapid growth means they're slowly rolling out new features to satisfying their clients' requests. Can't blame them for being too popular

Dependability and ease of use. I'm still amazed at how advanced Toast is compared to our older legacy system.

Pros

The dependability and ease of use. The cost isn't bad either! Toast is light years ahead of the old legacy system we had prior. I'm not sure how we made it this far without it.

Cons

Support. I've have to call back several times when I need an issue fixed. This has happened on several occasions. The agents are polite but always assume the issue is with a setting, even when it's clear that the problem is a bug.

in general after all my research its the best POS on USA, need some adjustment but they are always working on get better

Cloud base system, excellent customer support, always update. The back end is super user friendly and the statistic wonderfull.

Cons

need more improvement on delivery services, its not so easy to setup by your own the menus and need extra help from them

Highly recommended, used to have to do things old school by hand.

Pros

Cloud based - so you can access it anywhere you are. The user interface is very easy to get used to.

Cons

Wish it could save CC info, or generate quotes. Serves go offline sometimes but that hapopens with any tech. They have a backup offline mode that remedies this wonderfully.

I find the Toast POS very user friendly. There is a learning curve once you accept all Toast is capable of. Coming from Micros, I kept thinking the "micros way". Once I learned about Toast, Toast is so easy to use!

Training could be more involved. I feel like more assistance is needed after the initial training, which is where customer support fails.

For the longest time a was looking for a handheld system for my servers , and none impressed me like Toast . Easy of use , easy to understand , great reporting and back of the house modules .

Pros

Easy of use and the ability to have the servers using handheld devices for order taking .

Cons

That they are not EMV compliant .. but they said that they will be soon

This is one of the better POS systems out there. They offer a high quality interface that is well designed and easy to use. Also very easy to teach how to use.

Cons

Sometimes it can freeze up or run a bit slow, I have found that this is the only issue that occurs occasionally.

Pros

Multi-screen use, Cloud-syncing, and cataloging of receipts are some of my favorite features. It's very user friendly. I can do all of the tasks I need to do from one device.

Cons

I think that the syncing between screens can be extremely lethargic. Also, I feel that the performance really depends on the day. Some days we have to reboot and restart the entire system. Other days, we get it from the get-go. In addition to including register information, I think it would be better to fully include a report to the owner when we close the registers. We have an external app that he made to count all of the coins and spare bills so we can report them to him. Also, the receipts for daily amounts earned are entered into this app and sent to him. I think it would be better and easier if it was integrated into Toast

Toast is a great point of sale. It's easy to use interface mixed with helpful team make using this point of sale a breeze.

Cons

The only con I have is that it is on an android tablet and not on a apple tablet. Would be great to have a iPhone app as well.

Pros

I really like the ease of use behind the software. There is still opportunities to expand the functionality, but overall it is great. They are constantly pushing updates, we have had 4 since we started using the system.

Cons

The "versioning" of the menus is a bit of a task and naming "flow" is flawed. It has been since we started using the product 6 months ago. They advised they are aware of the issue, but it still hasn't been resolved.

They keep upgrading the features. It used to be affordable. However, it is not anymore. No flexibility of payment processing may cause us to think twice.

Pros

Plenty integrations and keep adding more. It is not windows based, so it is less troubleshooting. The hardware is cheaper compare to windows platform. Easy to manage and user friendly interface. Work without the cloud.

Cons

Getting more expensive. Subscription based. No payment processor flexibility. You can't but the hardware outside Toast. It may not work for big enterprise with plenty POS.

My overall experience is great, from the day the rep walked in to sell me on it up until today. I’ve had no issues and anytime I needed a little help customer service answered on the first ring.

Pros

Great customer service, great price, extremely user friendly, amazing features.

Cons

None- as soon as you have the slightest problem, a toast customer service rep or tech solves it. If it’s something toast hasn’t done yet they submit your ticket to their development team to get it taken care of.

Pros

Once programed works well...problem is zero customer support....Administration can NEVER be found...TOAST is NOT ACCOUNTABLE to their product

Cons

very, very complicated to program, customer support very difficult to get through to...once through usually off shore people that can't solve your problem....can't pull up credit card in their system when internet fails
