Pros

Our HVAC company implemented ServiceBox, due to the features offered, but mainly because of the customer service. I naturally expected that once we signed up the help would fade away, but that was not the case whatsoever. The team at ServiceBox work hard, and are diligent at following up with a call, email or text within a very short amount of time, if not immediately. It is obvious that they work well together, as they each have their own assets they bring to the table. In addition, ServiceBox is flexible and customizable, with a clean, easy to view and understand the User Interface.

Cons

No Application as of yet. Once the application is finished, it will be a top notch program for sure.

### "Awesome Work Order Management Software Perfect For Service Work"

I signed up with service box after trying out some other work order management softwares that simply didn't have the layout, functionality, or features that service box did. I recall an in depth conversation with \[sensitive content hidden\] where as overwhelmed as i was after discussing all of my needs, and how Service box fills those needs and more, I was reassured that it is very practical to use it as a work order management software and ease into the advanced features as your need arises. I also worked directly with \[sensitive content hidden\] having customizations made to fit my specific needs, so Service box is able to and willing to implement specific customer modifications as needed. I have, and still, recommend service box to everyone I can, because its a fantastic software.

Pros

What sold me on Service Box was the ease of use, all of the features it is capable of and how service oriented the software / product offered is

Cons

With any software that allows so many intricacies, it is inevitable that after a long duration of diving deep into utilizing all of the features, it becomes time consuming and difficult making changes on the same formats, such as adjusting a specific note on a recurring work order, removing or adding a check box on created checklists, ect.

Overall pretty good but would be great if it had inventory management with multiple vendor ability and bin locations.

Pros

Ease of use. Program is relatively simple and great for smaller businesses. I really like the design of the schedule.

Cons

No inventory control to manage products sold, Lots or error messages and it has become very slow at times. Like the program has to wake itself up every morning.

### "The Whole Package. A Game Changer for our Company!"

Training and company implementation was comprehensive - our hands we're held the whole time. Pricing is very affordable - considering the amount of time saved when implemented. Overall - our decision to go with ServiceBox is a game changer.

Pros

I love that everything is in one location & we've gone completely paperless. Scheduling, work Orders, invoicing, packing slips, timesheets...the list goes on! Our office is like a well-oiled machine now.

Cons

My only wish is that the web portion of the app was in app form. That would be amazing - but it is completely functional how it is now. It would just make it a bit easier to access from mobiles.

Pretty decent software overall. I’ve noticed major improvements over a short period. Helps to know the company listens and fixes issues promptly

Pros

Ease of use. Button press response is smooth. Storage is decent enough for adding images etc. Customer service is quite helpful when we have down time.

Cons

Some lagging is experienced but a reset usually takes care of it. Had storage issues a while back, some previously uploaded images couldn’t be found.

### "Love the Customer Service"

Very friendly customer service, very user friendly. I would recommend it to any company (big or small) looking for a new system!

Pros

We love the fact you can customize what you need. All the variations of the forms. They call quarterly just to check to see if there are any issues. They have great customer service, everyone there is overly friendly!

Cons

The only thing we would like to see is in the scheduler is a way to easily see different technicians schedules. Right now you just put appointments in on the schedule its all mashed together on the day, luckily we also have a paper schedule where we right down which tech and truck is on which run. Our old system did this however it was very old and we needed to update, we have used ServiceBox for a few years now and have gotten used to not being able to schedule on specific runs. Nobody likes change but we are ok with it. But dont let this sway you against ServiceBox, we knew this going into it and it didnt stop us. Their customer service outweighed this small minor inconvenience.

Hi Caitlyn. Thanks for this generous review, and the suggestions. Are you aware that the Scheduler actually has a switch that allows you to see the info you're hoping to see? The view you're talking about where everyone's schedule is included in a single column is called the "Normal" view. But if you click the "Toggle Mode" button in the top right corner, it will switch to the "Dispatcher" view, where each technician has their own column and their daily activities are laid out clearly, by the hour. Check it out!

### "Service Box is a Great App "

Service Box is great, it has everything you need for a daily day of work. If we have any issues we send a ticket in and we get a response the same day. The team is really great and very helpful on resolving any issues. Service Box works well with Sage Accounting when syncing invoices instead of manually inputting into Sage, all we have to do is sync . Once Again it saves times for all employees. I strongly recommend if you don't have Service Box get it, the cost is very fair and well worth it in the long run.

Pros

There are a 5 things we like MOST about Service Box. Workorders, employees are able to take photos and attach, checkin and outs are addressed, material used. All information is applied and stored in the workorder. We can schedule workers daily, or future time and dates so they know as soon as they are scheduled. The app is easy to learn as it usually only takes a few hours to go over and figure out what information goes where. Quotes can be converted to workorders then to an invoice, and you don't have to manually add anything. This really help save time for all employees Timesheets are easy available for employees. Service Box works well with both Sage Software and Quickbooks.

Cons

At this time I do not have anything to address that we least like. If we have any issues on the app they get back to us and help fix anything.

Overall, I would say I’m partially satisfied, given the type of work we do (mainly service work and new installation projects). I believe it offers reasonable value for money.

Pros

Overall, it is user-friendly and requires minimal training. I also appreciate how it integrates work orders with quotes and invoicing, as well as its ability to synchronize with various ERP systems.

Cons

The scheduler requires significant improvements. Additionally, the application can be slow and unresponsive at times, and the reporting functionality also needs substantial enhancements.

Low, we have been engaged with ServiceBox for a while, but the implementation has been delayed due to our internal issues

Pros

Connectivity of different processes, the ability to tie quotes, WO, parts, inventory and invoicing all in on field.

Cons

Still learning the good and bad as we are just turning on, while I am sure we will come across some issues/processes that are not our favorite, we need to try and use what the system has first.

As a technician, i love using Service box. I came from a paper copy company to a service box company, the learning curve wasnt too stessful or time consuming; over a few weeks became very fluent in all aspects of it. Inputting material and time is easy .

Pros

As a technician, very easy to read the work order, get location information and it then links to google maps to navigate there.

Cons

Logs me out 1 or 2 times per week, just have to log back in but just the inconvenience of doing it is annoying

I use the scheduler to organize my crew and keep track of where they are going.

The app on the iPhone does not work great, so I ended up using the browser on my phone as it saves the location.

I think it's been great our \[sensitive content hidden\] can manipulate things and do what needs to be done and the communication between him and the people at service box is great

Pros

I like the fact that along with adding the information on the job that it also includes the labor and the appropriate purchase order number. And that we can also adjust the look of each work order as to include other items such as refrigerant recovery amounts, etc. I also like how you can do a search function on different properties to pull up the work orders for just those properties and you don't have to scroll through all the work orders that have been done until you find that particular work order.

Cons

I really haven't found anything that I dislike about it so far if there has been any hiccups or questions they've been able to handle them and customize things to our needs.

Service box has been great for the most part. Everything is at the touch of a button. I can keep track of all my workers by just going into the app and if needed change or transfer jobs to different technicians.

Pros

I love the fact that it’s paperless as an owner I can schedule my guys with out having them back at the shop. Having them check in and check out and adding pics and notes to the service box is a huge plus as well just to protect my guys and my business if there is a conflict with billing or the job.

Cons

Getting kicked out after being logged in for some time and forgetting my pass word lol I don’t like when I make a quote for a customer and when sent it breaks down all materials and such.

Very easy to use makes the office more streamlined. Easy to see what your day will be when all calls are in the schedule

Pros

No paperwork keeps every thing organized and great to see whatbwas done at last call through the work notes.

Cons

Need more dropbox options. Can be very slow when out in the counties or in dead spot areas. And not a fan of having multiple people touching my screen to get signatures.

I have no problem using ServiceBox and it works easily on my mobile device. It’s very rare that I have to restart the service.

Pros

Once I learned it, it is very easy to use. Clicking between quotes and work orders is easy as well. Nice design.

Cons

The way our system requires QuickBooks be a part of the payment process. It would be better if I was able to receive money as well.

The times I've had to contact support have been quick and easy. I enjoy the time/job tracking (good to know where people are at). Find it a pretty good experience overall.

Pros

Multiple logins (app and browser), reminder of current checked in job. The scheduler is easy to update and add events or work orders.

Cons

Layout of the mobile app mostly. Only really good for checking in and out of work orders. I would like to access customer data and the timesheets easier while I'm out and about.

Hi Claudette. You're right that ServiceBox isn't designed as a point-of-sale software...we're a CRM for scheduling, tracking and invoicing new work. We connect well to accounting programs for easy transfer, but we're not a standalone accounting software ourselves...our invoices are always attached to a work order. Having said that, it's an interesting ask to create a standalone invoice option for point-of-sale purchases, where companies are already using our product for other things. I see how that could benefit you. I believe our customer success specialist has spoken with you about this (or so I'm told) and I encourage you to add this idea to our Feature Request page if you haven't already. The fact that you can see all the previous notes left by other users.Our company creates a ticket and we can see past users notes.

It seems to be very reliable. Customers can read there invoice well. You are able to put lots of information in various areas that you may need for future.

Pros

It's easy to use and clear. You are able to put in a lot of information both on the back end and for the customer.

Cons

Pricing. It would be nice to have an up to date pricing. It remembers some prices, but it seems it remembers the wrong ones.

### "Awesome software"

This software has saved alot of money on printing paper work orders and scheduling the guys. They use to have to come in every morning to get paper copies of work orders now they just go straight to the job site assigned to them. They also use to submit manual timesheets Now everything is in the program automatically when they fill our their work orders. We have seen a big increase in billable hours. Alot less down time.

Pros

The ease of use is the best. So easy to create and track work orders. The job costing feature is awesome Saves us so much time. The time tracker is awesome as well. When it's time for payroll everything is there. Program has many great features and the support team are awesome at finding solutions for any problem you may have.

Cons

The only things we don't like is that you can view your materials library in the program itself. You have to export it to excel to view your whole library and clean up any items you no longer wish to have in there and then re-import it in Service Box.

Reason for choosing ServiceBox

We chose as a team because it was the most flexible and the most feasible one with the best features

Attaching pictures. Tracking our technicians check in and check outs. Easy invoicing and creating work orders. Creating customer data base was great.

Pros

The ability to add pictures to invoices. The navigating of the site is amazing. Easy to teach and we were able to develop a manual quickly. Invoices and work orders are tracked for what stage they are at. Easy to identify which work orders are not complete or require invoicing. Customer data base is easy to search.

Cons

Limited reports available. No abity to attach pictures to units. Pictures are hard to track and easily identify. Reminders are not easily seen and used by the admin and staff . Requesting custom reports is annoying. All work order options should be available in a report. We should also be easily able to view all notes easily for each jobsite, regardless of work order the note was made on.

### "Best choice for a Canadian based company"

Pros

After trying a couple of US based service software programs with no success we found ServiceBox and it's been working great. Service Box syncs wonderfully with our Quickbooks (Canadian desktop version), we didn't experience any of the tax integration issues that we had with the US companies. The support team response is very quick, and often they will follow up by both email and phone. The software is simple and intuitive; our technicians picked it up with very minimal training. It has been very convenient for both office staff and techs to have the clients historical data at their fingertips. With the ability to add pictures, create maintenance lists and record timesheets we have become entirely paperless - and all data is updated in real time so we are able to operate more efficiently!

Cons

Some improvements that we would like to see: more options for reporting (or more custom reports), a fully functional app (where all SB tasks can be performed from within the app), a redesign of the scheduler (adding a search and/or sort function, increasing size of display for the work orders that are in queue, ability to see to dos that are attached to the work order)
