It really is quite user-friendly. While i have tried other platforms this one just makes the most sense to me. Pros I have found dotloop to be reliable and user-friendly. I like the organizational structure and that I have one unified contact list across all of my profiles I use. It has been my preferred digital signing program for over 6 years. I also really enjoy the keyboard shortcuts that expedite drafting. Cons I find that as they work on developing the program, it has been experiencing more glitches and forces me to adapt unexpectedly. Also, I truly wish I could copy my templates across profiles. I work for over 10 brokerages and it is a huge time waster to have to re-template forms every update across each profile. Pros Dot Loop was extremely easy to use and made document signing a breeze. The user interface and was very intuitive and made it quick to learn. I didn't experience any issues while using the software. Customer support was always very helpful if I needed help figuring out how to use or do something. Over all I'd say Dot Loop is a great value for electronically signing documents! Cons My least favorite thing with Dot Loop was I had trouble using it from a mobile device. I'd assume this was probably a me issue due to the prevalence of mobile usage. We use it for all real estate transaction docs, TREC forms, rental applications, leases, and so much more. It's great, and I much prefer it to other sites like Docusign. Pros I've used Dotloop in my Director of Operations role for a real estate team since 2016. It's consistent, easy to use and manage, makes organizing and getting client signatures a breeze, and the support staff is so helpful for any issues or bugs that ever occur. It's worth the money, and reliable for all your real estate transaction needs! Cons Some of the customization tools can be a tad confusing, namely when you switch real estate brokerages. Do not engage e-signing with DotLoop" January 11, 2026 1.0 Overall I will never suggest this product to any company ever. Their user contracts are not fair and put the user at a disadvantaged financially. If you need to go a different route due to finances, you will be unable to with this company! Pros We started using the Outlook because I was with a big box broker and it was their default e-signing system. We were already familiar with how to use it. So when we expanded to another state we started paying Ford out of pocket. It worked for us for a few years very well because we were familiar with it. Cons This is a warning to any potential user of.DotLoop! You are tied into a contract for 12 months and whether you use the product or not you cannot escape paying out the end of your contract! There are no negotiations and no exceptions. Warning about that policy! Our brokerage used DotLoop for 5 years and always paid our bill on time. Florida association of Realtors offers a product that syncs better with the Florida forms. We are using that product now. It is a more user-friendly product through Form Simplicity I called DotLoop to cancel My subscription and was offered an appointment 2 weeks out to speak with a customer representative! I let them know that would not work for me and asked for a call back same day. I was asked what country and time zone I was in. I told them USA, eastern time. A phone call was scheduled 2 days out! The program would highlight for me where to sign, I just clicked on the highlighted area and my signature would be there or my initials. Cons The worst part of dotloop is they have been bought by Zillow and now shares the data with them. As an agent, we put lots of personal data into this system during a transaction. We have never had a client that is ok with us sharing this data to other companies, much less a competitor in our industry. The latest and greatest Forms, Contracts, Disclosures from my real estate associations always seem to be present. I love that I can even map interactive fields to my own internal/brokerage specific forms--fields that autofill based on the info used to create a loop. I have even created some forms that will do the math for me. Pros Simple to use, highly customizable, very flexible yet consistent. Cons The mobile app leaves a little to be desired--I get that maybe it can't be as robust as the desktop platform, but it is a little bit difficult to navigate, especially when trying to download/export a document to a device to be distributed via an email account. Sometimes it can be challenging to locate older, but still active, files. I do not recall ever needing customer support or having a tech issue however I'm confident they would be great if I did. Pros The Dotloop platform is easy to navigate, and I can search for any document required in my state. The Document Library includes all required forms; no looking online and downloading to add to my files. Keeping all my files secure and organized for years is no issue at all. Despite Drew's sales pitch promising the world, his follow-up was nonexistent. Their assertion of partnerships with all MLS platforms is a blatant falsehood - not all are supported, a significant issue in the realtor community. Thousands of MLS listings mean nothing if they can't cover them all! To add insult to injury, the system crashes during peak usage, making it near impossible to submit offers promptly. Glide's free account outshines this supposed premium service in every aspect. And let's not forget \[sensitive content hidden\] from their "success" team - utterly ineffective! When I realized MLS data from MetroMLS would not populate into CAR forms, they dismissed my concerns, suggesting I wait out a pointless six-month cancellation period. Each call felt like they were more concerned with defending their subpar software than addressing my legitimate issues. Avoid this company at all costs. Stick with Glide Free and invest in a transaction coordinator for a smoother experience. It's the smarter choice. It allowed me to continue to serve my clients without putting anyone at risk. Pros DotLoop makes regular transactions incredibly simple. Once a template is created, it's easy to plug in the information needed or take advantage of the autofill feature. The best part is the ease of sharing. With one click, I can send documents to all parties at once, even if they require different levels of access. I also like the digital record of my transactions. I don't need to store files on my hard drive; I can access them through DotLoop at any time. Cons Unfortunately, setting up a template can be quite complicated and tedious. Particularly in regard to real estate contracts, there is often limited space for text and signatures. DotLoop doesn't let fields 'overlap' and it appears as though each field has a big bubble! Sometimes, I am unable to place a field due to 'overlapping' despite no fields being in proximity. I appreciate having templates at my fingertips and that I can create folders within each file to keep documents sets separated and me, better organized. Pros Dotloop has made this realtors life a little easier in being able to access all the templates I need for my mls system. Every form I could need is readily available and for the most part, my clients have found it easy to navigate. Cons Titles on templates - I would like it if the title popped out as I scrolled over them. Sometimes the only way I can find a specific addendum that I don't regularly use is by adding it to my file so I can see the full name of the document (and then archiving the unused documents afterwards). Also, on some documents the signing portion is automatically filled in and I don't want it to be (the Radon response is automatically set up so the client can sign every line, this has caused problems if I miss removing one - I don't know if this is something that's been set up by my mls or dotloop has done automatically though). Overall, I really love this software, it has made my job so much easier. Pros I work as a transaction coordinator for a real estate agent, and Dotloop has revolutionized the way we do business. The best feature of this software is the ability to digitally sign paperwork, which saves us so much time and money. Many times, we go back and forth negotiating a contract, and we need initials and signatures each time we make a change. Rather than having to physically meet up with clients, we are able to acquire signatures quickly and easily via email. Cons Sharing a loop can be confusing. I rarely share my loops with other agents for fear of them having access to and changing things they shouldn't and vice versa.
