### "Confluence is just one Corporate Wikipedia!!"

February 15, 2023

5.0

Very much satisfied with the one stop site to create, store and transfer data and content on various topics across the organization.

Pros

The flexibility to create pages and projects and add in all the information and knowledge at one place for anyone to use has made many things easier in the organization. Very good user interface and basic editor features available to create custom dashboards. Very good access control in place and version control feature available

Cons

Some times attachment with same name doesn't override instead creates a draft of the existing one. When version control is in place, this is a trouble for users to delete and reupload it again. Also search engine could be improved for it shows irrelevant pages when we send any query

### "Confluence Review"

February 2, 2023

5.0

We love it, some people on the team like to use every part of it, because it really does offer everything you need for project management with improving collaboration and knowledge management processes.

Pros

Transparency and getting everyone on the same page is the best part about Confluence, it provides a clear overview of who is responsible for specific tasks, making it easier to track progress and identify potential roadblocks, commitments and a generalized picture of where everything stands.

Cons

At times there are lots of things that are going on in Confluence which is why we decided to use it for only specific things, it can get crowded and overwhelming with everything that it offers.

### "Powerful Collaboration Features"

June 12, 2023

5.0

Confluence is a powerful collaboration and documentation platform that offers centralized knowledge sharing, versatile content creation, and strong collaboration features. Its customization options, scalability, and integration capabilities make it suitable for teams of various sizes and enterprise environments. However, users should be aware of the learning curve, potential complexity for basic needs, search functionality, performance issues, and the pricing structure when considering Confluence for their team collaboration and documentation needs.

Pros

Confluence offers a wide range of features for cooperation, including real-time editing, inline comments, and task management. These features enable teams to work together seamlessly, provide feedback, and stay aligned on projects and tasks.

Cons

In larger Confluence instances with extensive content or a high number of users, some users have experienced performance issues, such as slow page loading or delays in editing and saving changes. While Atlassian continuously works on performance enhancements, this aspect should be considered for organizations with significant usage requirements.

### "Knowledge Management tool for your Project"

December 12, 2022

4.0

Pros

1\. A single repository that houses all the current and gathered data necessary for your project.2. Restricting access to particular individuals for specific documents.3. Great versioning system for documents4. Templates for many page types, such as project planning and how-to pages.5. You can manage teams and construct hierarchical structures thanks to Confluence Spaces and Pages' organised nature.

Cons

1\. The page doesn't update in real time while several people are working on it.2. Less add-ons and customizations as compared to other competitor products.3. Since content cannot be created while the page is being edited, every page you save becomes live.4. Search option does not work up to the mark.

### "A Comprehensive Review of Confluence: Good Points, Bad Points, and Overall Experience"

December 30, 2022

5.0

Overall, I've found Confluence to be a powerful and flexible platform that has greatly improved our team's productivity.

Pros

As a user of Confluence, I have had a mostly positive experience with the platform. One of the standout features for me has been the ability to create and share pages and spaces with my team. This has made it much easier for us to collaborate on projects and to stay organized.Another key feature that I've appreciated is the integration with a wide range of other tools and platforms. Confluence integrates with a variety of other productivity and collaboration tools, which has made it much easier for us to manage our work and stay on top of our tasks.

Cons

There are a few points that I've encountered as a user that could be improved:Limited free plan: Confluence's free plan is somewhat limited in terms of the number of users and the amount of storage you can have. This can be a drawback for small businesses or teams that need to manage a large volume of data and have a larger team.Complexity: Some users have reported that Confluence can be complex to set up and use, especially for those who are new to project management software. The platform offers a wide range of features, and it can take some time to learn how to use them effectively.High price: Confluence is a premium product, and it can be expensive compared to other project management tools on the market. This may not be a viable option for small businesses or organizations with limited budgets.

### "Confluence works great for personal and project wikis"

May 17, 2022

5.0

Confluence is reliable and easy to use. We use it throughout our entire company for engineering and project management, including production.

Pros

Confluence helps keep our files organized, visible, accessible and useable by using our wikis.

Cons

There was a fair amount of personalization required to get Confluence to work best for our needs.

### "The go-to documentation & knowledge sharing platform"

February 10, 2024

4.0

Pros

A lot of flexibility when it comes to structuring documentation, sharing options, organization and formatting. Great integrations with other plugins (example: Jira obviously, Bitbucket obviously, but also G-suite, Miro, and more). Templating system makes SOP implementation more efficient. Page-level permission control over who can see and edit the pages is very useful for admin documentation and people management documentation.

Cons

Like all Atlassian products, it's going to cost you an arm and a leg - especially if you want the nice extra features. For around 150 users, it can run you up to $3k/month, without the add-ons. Also, have to say, I'm not a big fan of the pdf exports, the formatting can be really off from the original page.

### "Confluence is a must have "

March 5, 2022

5.0

Pros

This software is very easy to use and when bill out for different departments and for the company as a whole it can allow for all the information everyone needs in one place. I appreciate the opportunity to navigate through the platform and collaborate with my peers on different projects, documents, and overall processes since we have access to the platform across the company.

Cons

Depending on how it is set up it can either be a very easy to use platform or a very frustrating and difficult place to navigate. If it is built in mind to make sure employees have all the resources they need it will be very successful and if it is only for 1 to 2 departments to start with it will be very difficult.

### "Amazing tool for knowledge management, sharing and documentation"

September 23, 2022

5.0

Overall Confluence is one of my favorites and one of the must-have tools. It is also great that the product is evolving and becoming more and more sophisticated, so if there is something you don't like now, that might change.

Pros

Confluence is user-friendly. I like that there could be created multiple spaces, also spaces could be linked with Jira projects. Text editing tools are also useful, especially info panels, tables, and the opportunity to integrate with other productivity tools, for example, the one I love: integration with miro and the ability to insert Miro board.

Cons

I think Confluence is better if you are already using other Atlassian products, but if you are using other project management tools you may want to go with Stonly or Notion for smaller teams. I think Confluence is the best option for bigger teams who already use Jira and have some other tool as a customer education platform. Public pages I have seen are better designed in Stonly or Notion - easy to navigate and more beautiful to the eye. For educating customers interactive knowledge base is very important - you don't want to have that much text content that will never be read.

Reason for choosing Confluence

I chose Confluence over OneNote that came with Office 365, because Confluence is more user-friendly and integrated with other Atlassian products.

### "The Ultimate Collaboration Tool for Teams"

February 15, 2023

4.0

Overall, while there are some areas for improvement, Confluence is generally well-regarded as a highly effective collaboration tool. Its comprehensive range of features, customization options, and integration capabilities make it a top choice for teams looking to streamline their work and improve collaboration.

Pros

As a user of Confluence, I can confidently say that what I like the most about this collaboration tool is its ability to bring teams together and streamline their work. With Confluence, it is easy to create, share, and collaborate on content in real-time, regardless of where team members are located. One of the key features of Confluence is its flexibility, allowing users to create pages in a variety of formats, including text, images, videos, and more. This makes it easy to create and share content with team members, and to ensure that everyone is working from the same page. The software also supports real-time editing, which means that multiple team members can work on the same document at the same time, making collaboration more efficient and effective.Another feature that I appreciate is the ability to integrate with other tools and software, such as JIRA and Trello, which makes it easy to bring together different aspects of a project and keep everything organized. The software is also highly customizable, with a range of themes and plugins available to tailor the platform to specific needs.

Cons

One common criticism is that the platform can be a bit overwhelming, particularly for new users who are not familiar with the software. Some users have reported that the sheer number of features and customization options can be difficult to navigate, and it can take some time to get up to speed with all of the functionality.

Our whole team are happy users of Confluence, as the tool has been a positive and beneficial productivity tool for our team.

Using Confluence you really appreciate its user-friendly interface, powerful collaboration tools and robust knowledge base management functionalities. Confluence empowered us to easily create, organize and share content with our entire team, making it our go-to solution for efficient idea management, knowledge sharing and alignment between current and future team members. Most importantely, the ability to integrate with our other tools and serbices made it seamless for keeping knowledge synced and shared across the team.

### "A Powerful Tool for text management, but has its weaknesses"

November 6, 2023

4.0

It is a great tool for text editing as long as you are the only person using it. It is lacking powerful commenting and reviewing tools, which makes it no optimum choice for collaborative work.

Pros

Due to its Wiki approach, users are not distracted with creating document structures or linking between separate documents. The whole content base looks like one big document

Cons

It lacks collaboratioon tools, e.g. it is not possible to comment on changes other people made, like in Microsoft Word.

### "Make onboarding easier!"

September 9, 2022

5.0

Pros

Confluence is as essential as any other software for your company’s (and team’s) success. Makes the onboarding of your new teammates an ease. Having a place where you can learn anything and everything about the documentation (or knowledge) of your company will help your team to succeed and passively teach them self-learning. Forget the questions on how to do this or that, or having to repeat the same thing a hundred times. Send a link to the topic they need info on and done!

Cons

Nothing, I absolutely love working with Confluence and Atlassian in general.

### "Standard for enterprise"

January 7, 2022

5.0

Confluence is considered standard in enterprise space. We have over 1000+ pages in Confluence space and some workflow built around it. It works well for us in most use cases. We use Confluence for all kinds of documentation: deployment signoffs, release notes, technical documentation. However, it does not perform well on large space and complex pages. Search and Sidebar navigation can have some improvements as well.

Pros

Rich third-party integration: I mainly use Confluence to write technical proposals, which have a lot of diagrams. Confluence support many diagram software which allows me to embed the diagram directly into the page.

Cons

Performance: Sometimes it takes a lot of time just to load a page, I have to take several refreshes to load the page correctly, especially pages with images and embedded content (e.g diagrams). The search feature does not work very well, with a large space, it usually returns too many results, without extra filter, it is difficult to find the right content. Most of the time, I ended up asking my colleagues to find the page I want.

### "Achieves remarkable outcomes when it comes to monitoring our knowledge base and producing reports."

October 26, 2023

5.0

With Confluence's outstanding features promoting collaboration and its versatile tracking methods that are open to feedback, we experience significant time savings when managing our knowledge base and generating reports.

Pros

Confluence boasts a user-friendly interface that simplifies the rapid location of important pages and the effective sorting of information. It excels in knowledge sharing through cards, ensuring that information remains consistently up-to-date. Collaboration is facilitated through features like tags and commenting, enhancing our understanding of the content within each card. These cards consolidate information and streamline access and delivery.

Cons

There are no drawbacks to Confluence. It's a surprisingly easy-to-learn service that significantly enhances our knowledge base and consistently delivers impressive results.

### "A must have for KCS "

April 4, 2022

4.0

Pros

Confluence makes it easier for teams to have an always up-to-date knowledge base by allowing ease of access and interoperability within different products from the ecosystem. It makes it very easy for everyone involved in daily operations to quickly update our articles with the latest, and most importantly, without having to worry to much about it taking long or being difficult. Campturing documentation at the right moment is of vital importance, and being able to track changes and who did what is essential.

Cons

Text formating and copy pasting form other sources is not always a great experience. I found excel tables take the worst of this as table manipulation is not great. It is also a bit confusing when working with labels since there are some actions that can only be taken once the article is published and I found some roadblocks in this area while working on drafts.

### "Comparte tu contenido de un modo eficiente"

September 24, 2023

4.0
