### "Confluence The Collaborative Hub That Every Team Needs"

September 6, 2025

5.0

Confluence is not just a tool; it's a commitment to a culture of documentation and open knowledge. Its strength is its comprehensiveness, but that also makes it prone to bloat.

Pros

The vast library of templates for meeting notes, project plans, product requirements documents (PRDs), SWOT analyses, and more. These templates provide a fantastic starting point and help standardize how teams create and share information. The editor is clean and user-friendly,lowering the barrier to entry for non-technical team members.

Cons

I haven't had problems using Confluence from my side. This is a fine platform that is easy to use and one that is not sluggish.

### "Confluence"

May 7, 2026

3.0

Confleunce is a great tool to store all information and documents on the one site , it is like a library for products /projects. Great to share with stakeholders who can view all information in the one place.

Pros

The Pro's of confluence is it allows you to store content about your products in the one place and it allows you put links on to the one page to have all your documentation for stakeholders to view and read easily. It also allows you to link to your Jira page which helps keep everything in the one place

Cons

Cons of confluence are , I have found it quite a learning curve and quite hard to work out how to update confluence. It takes a while to get used to using this.

### "A Great Resource for a Knowledge Base"

May 15, 2025

3.0

Overall it accomplished what we were looking for, however we found the scope too narrow for what we were expecting. It served it's purpose as a tool that could capture resources and a knowledge database, but the collaborative aspect left a little to be desired for our team. For larger orgs, it may accomplish exactly what you're looking for, but for smaller, and dynamically changing orgs, it's not as intuitive as we would have liked.

Pros

It did make for an easy collaborative environment for our initial attempt at Onboarding Workflow, and allowed for an easy organization of materials, videos, documents, and workflows within our organization.

Cons

It didn't allow much, at least in our application, in terms of in program collaboration. The whiteboard wasn't as intuitive as we needed for actual collaboration, and we found it easier to collaborate in a third party tool and just use Confluence as point in time references as needed.

### "Once you master Confluence...you won't know how you lived without it!"

January 8, 2026

5.0

Confluence helps makes my development life easy. It allows me and my team to create and maintain our knowledge base. It also facilitates collaboration with others in the company outside of our team. Obviously, it integrates perfectly with Jira and other Atlassian products.

Pros

You can't have Jira without Confluence! Confluence works great for collaboration and as a knowledge base for development work. Once you understand how it operates, it becomes a powerful and efficient tool.

Cons

Management may complain about the cost of Confluence and Jira. Sometimes there are issues with complex search, which could be improved.

### "confluence review 2025 by me"

November 13, 2025

4.0

It is a Wiki page built by you and or your co workers, it's the way of learning now and it has been adopted and widely accepted.

Pros

In modern times it is crucial the way we have to learn and the way on how we have to make sure that and update or an instruction has been read and understood being remotely working, I know that ensuring that an update is clear enough can get fixed on a meeting (virtual meeting)

Cons

sometines the format on how a page is displayed, no interactive tools or the ability to embed content, being a regular user.

### "Confluence : Practical review of collaboration, clarity and constraints"

April 5, 2025

5.0

I’ve used Confluence extensively to document processes, manage project knowledge, and collaborate across cross-functional teams. I appreciate how it integrates seamlessly with Jira, making it easier to keep requirements, timelines, and updates in one place. While it’s a powerful tool, I’ve also navigated challenges like permission settings and formatting quirks, which taught me the importance of structure and clear organisation in shared knowledge bases.

Pros

I use Confluence as a knowledge database in integration with JIRA. It helps me collaborate with my wider team on several topics easily.

Cons

It can be overwhelming for the new users as it is for the new joinees in my team. I usually have to schedule training sessions to get them up and running with the tool

### "Excellent file sharing tool"

October 7, 2025

5.0

Confluence has made file sharing easier for me with a variety of roles and clients across multiple industries for about eight years now - I'm really happy with it.

Pros

I'm such a fan of confluence. I work with a variety of clients and if they're not signed up to Confluence, it's one of the first changes I suggest to them. It's great for organising files for larger companies with a lot of departments and key documents workers might need to see. It saves so much time as you don't have to ask managers for key documents all the time, you can just use search terms to find them on Confluence. I also find the UX incredibly user-friendly. It's so easy to find your way around Conference and get hold of what you're looking for. It's also very customisable. No matter what sort of business you have, you can make it work for you.

Cons

Confluence can be complicated for people who aren't very software-versed to get their head around. I've had feedback from some employees that they find it overwhelming and difficult to set up.

### "Great internal information management"

November 9, 2025

5.0

We've been using this tool for about 10 years and it is a good tool to share information in one place. We use it to host HR policy or even pricing and promotion for marketing.

Pros

It's a great tool to document information that you need to constantly updated and then share with the team or company. It's take a bit of learning curve but once you know where everything is, it can be powerful and intuitive. There are tools to help you organize pages.

Cons

It is slightly slower than google sheet and take a longer learning curve to use all the features properly.

### "Strong platform for company knowledge and documentation"

May 1, 2026

4.0

Very useful tool for internal documentation and shared knowledge. Useful to centralize procedures, meeting notes, project pages and team information.

Pros

The best thing is that information stays in one place instead of many emails or lost files. Teams can create pages fast, update documents together and keep history of changes. Very practical with Jira also.

Cons

If governance is weak, spaces can become messy after some time. Too many old pages or duplicate content can make search harder. Need some discipline.

### "Documentation for the win!"

April 17, 2025

4.0

Overall after 8 years with confluence my experience has been great for the most part. Highly reliable with little to no issue or downtime.

Pros

I like confluence for it's ease of use and the way you can link supporting documentation together in an easy to find fashion.

Cons

The thing I would say I like least about confluence is it's search isn't always the best if you don't have things properly labeled.

### "Solid market leader"

March 11, 2025

4.0

Confluence helped us to exploit the potential hidden in other Atlassian products: Jira and JSM. It is widely utilized as a knowledge base for both our staff and customers. Its ability to separate public and private spaces helped to bring everything to "one place". Native integration with other Atlassian tools also shines whenever you need to dive deep into a specific topic, like, for example, creating a CAPA report for an incident- a Confluence article serves as a report linked to existing issues and tickets, making it easier for customer-facing teams to find the content they need. What is the most problematic is the lack of an article versioning feature that would help allow our team of technical writers to keep our robust documentation up to date- we needed to figure out versioning automation that would mark specific articles as candidates for an update once a new version of a given feature is released.

Pros

I like the clean look the articles have and how we can integrate them into other Atlassian products.

Cons

Lack of built-in versioning of articles that makes keeping articles up to date a challenge in a growing environment.

### "Confluence"

February 9, 2026

5.0

Pros

I particularly appreciate the ability to create standardised page templates, as this helps maintain consistency across procedures, meeting notes and technical documents. Collaboration is also seamless: several people can work on the same page, add comments, or track the revision history. Finally, the integration with Jira is a real strength, as it directly links documentation with task tracking.

Cons

When the volume of pages becomes significant, some information can end up being lost or duplicated if the structure is not properly managed. In such cases, it is easy to have multiple versions of the same document, which can create confusion. I also find that notifications can become excessive when following several spaces at once, and some important updates may go unnoticed.

### "Confluence: A Must Have Collaborative Workspace Tool for Content Sharing and Team Collaboration "

April 16, 2025

I have been using Confluence for 5+ years now and I find it useful in documentation and collaboration.

Pros

The best aspect about Confluence is that it is an open source program. It enables us (teams) to seamlessly collaborate and share content from one central repository.

Cons

Now that I am used to Confluence, I do not find it overwhelming to navigate the features.

### "Review on Confluence"

July 14, 2025

3.0

Overall it has its advantages, all the knowledge I require as an employee that is required to consistently stay up to date on new updates is consolidated under this software, however finding said information can be quite difficult

Pros

My organisation is able to give well detailed information on every single thing concerning my daily work on this software, from research details, even to PTO policy etc

Cons

It can be difficult to navigate when I am trying to find specific information. When I use the search bar, it takes me to a lot of tabs which still does not help me find what I am specifically looking for.

### "The Good Confluence"

October 19, 2025

4.0

I started using confluence few years ago and its been a good experience so far and would recommend it to new users.

Pros

I started using confluence 3 years ago and its been mostly good experience. There are several features that are mostly of specific interest. For example, I like the ease to share document to wide range of people, export document as PDF and its general user interface

Cons

Despite several useful features of Confluence, its sometimes slow. Also, its generated PDF are somewhat not of good quality. In addition, the user interface could be improved and more easily accessible because there are sometimes too many clicks and too rigid in some options in my opinion.

Pros

### "Confluence: Tride and True"

June 30, 2025

10/10. Would recommend for all teams to use it for internal Knowledge Base sharing. This can also include external parties as well.

Pros

I like the simplicity behind Confluence. Creating/editing/sharing KB articles make it super easy and practical.

Cons

I don't like that when you copy and paste, it doesn't format properly. Especially from office apps like word, excel, or one note.

### "Great for documentation, templates, automation, integrations and more!"

May 2, 2025

4.0

We find Confluence easy to use, it's straightforward to create a clear structure and using templates makes it easy to setup a new page quickly. Another create improvement recently has been with Automation, this is a powerful way to easily and quickly setup a workflow based on certain conditions. We have been using Confluence for over 5 years and would highly recommend.

Pros

Confluence is a great product for managing documentation. It is very easy to integrate JIra into pages and templates can be added to save time and provide continuity with documentation. There is also the option to integrate many tools and add extra functionality via Marketplace, overall we find it a great companion for Jira and managing both internal and external documentation.

Cons

One small drawback is that a draft page can not be edited by others before it is published, this isn't a problem for internal documentation but it would be good if this was possible when doing external documentation, however, there are a number of workarounds where a page can be hidden from the main menu until it's ready to make live.

Pros

Cons

### "The go-to place for team collaboration"

February 2, 2025

5.0

Pros

Confluence became a fundamental part of our teams collaboration strategy. We use it as the go-to place for project and software documentation, eliminating shared folders and documents sent as email attachments. Easy to export in pdf if needed and easy to organize in folders and pages.

Cons

The history and diff mechanism need a revamp. It is not very easy to pick two versions and find out who did what in the document. Also the whiteboard is difficult to use if you need to add a checklist and text.
