### "Great Tool to use with your team! "

August 10, 2025

4.0

Pros

It’s great for building an online library! I’ve been using it to store and access our processes’ info at some point - and with a great UI!

Cons

Can be difficult to navigate the tool but overall it’s just a matter of getting used to it. After that you cannot work without it! Just like with Notion, I would say.

### "Solid documentation tool"

August 28, 2025

5.0

Pros

It was very easy to use and had multiple options for designing the page and editing the format. Been using it as the main tool for documentation and process guides.

Cons

Been a while that have not used it now but one thing is the need to add ai assistant for all documentation tools, ticketing etc.

### "It's a good tool, but formatting options are limited "

April 17, 2025

4.0

I like it for organizing documents, but because of it's limitations of supporting various formats, I cannot use it as the only tool for all my documentation needs.

Pros

It seamlessly integrates with Jira. It's very easy to link documents with Jira tickets. I like the ability to organize documents into various spaces. When we start a new project, we create a new Space for the project as a part of project spin up process. It helps keep all documents related to a project together. I also like the search feature where you can search for keywords and then filter the search results by spaces.

Cons

The document formatting options are very limited. It doesn't support spreadsheets etc. The only way to add spreadsheets is to attach spreadsheet files, and for viewing, you'll need to download and view. An integrated option to view/edit spreadsheets within Confluence will make it much more useful.

### "Confluence is a nice wiki for tech folks"

September 1, 2025

4.0

I have used and administered Confluence since 2013. I have created many Spaces and Pages and also managed access.

Pros

I like how Confluence provides a company a nice and easy way to create an internal wiki. I like that engineers and technical folks seem to like it.

Cons

The thing I like least about Confluence is non-technical folks, who don't already use JIRA seem to have a hard time getting in the habit of using Confluence.

### "Confluence with the Great Feature Influence"

April 13, 2025

4.0

After 3 years of using Confluence, I find it to be very useful for many uses, including operations and engineering. Satisfactory indeed.

Pros

Confluence offers plenty of document-editing features that allow members to customize the articles according to their needs. Versatility is the forte here.

Cons

Confluence would be more powerful and useful if there are advanced features to cross-reference links and utilize automation. Easier ways to organize documents would be better as well.

### "Easy management of documents and projects"

January 15, 2025

5.0

Overall, the experience with confluence has been really positive. All the features I'm utilizing(search engine, Space, templates for documentation, integration with jira software) has helped me grow in the company and saved me from many troubles.

Pros

Confluence is an awesome tool that helped me a lot at my workplace with all those documentations written by my colleagues and the guys before me. One thing i liked the most was its version control meaning it track changes and maintain a history of edits. It also informs you about the changes made to any documents .It keeps all the documents in one place. It is so much easier to access documents via Search bar.

Cons

While basic features are user-friendly, using advanced functions like macros or integrations can require trainings. Also searching can be difficult sometimes if the documents were not organized (specially in large workplace).

Cons

Confluence is fine and doesn't have any issues.

### "Highly recommend!"

June 20, 2025

5.0

I used Confluence for two years while working as a QA software analyst. All the information we used was organized into "spaces," which were dedicated to specific teams, projects, departments, or topics. Each space had its own homepage and content hierarchy.

Pros

I like that Confluence integrated seamlessly with Jira. I am satisfied with it as a powerful knowledge base, document management system, and collaborative workspace.

Cons

Mobile version is limited and can be slow or clunky. Search indexing can lag, making it harder to find newly added content immediately.

We've used Confluence for 10+ years across all parts of our business. Represents great value for money. Everyone finds it easy to use. Just a reliable piece of software really.

Pros

Allows us to write, organise and collaborate on our internal documentation with ease. Easy to learn. New features/improvements are added regularly. Support is highly rated.

Cons

Hard to say - we never have much to complain about with Confluence! It just works, is stable and we rarely need support.

### "Confluence"

December 16, 2025

Pros

Real-time collaboration is a big plus. Multiple people can edit the same document at the same time and see changes instantly, which really improves teamwork.

Cons

### "The Wiki I love to hate"

January 20, 2025

3.0

Overall, I find Confluence quite clunky managing any type of information. The "blog" type is weirdly out of place. Everything seems to be a wiki page but never called a wiki page. The editing experience is abysmal, especially table tools. The only contender in horrible editing tools is ironically Jira.

Pros

The interface is not half bad in general.

Cons

The editing tools are horrendous compared to other alternatives. Even markdown is better nowadays.

### "Handling a large Knowledge Base ? Not a problem !"

May 5, 2025

5.0

We handle a team of Tier 3 Tech Support Engineers in charge of multiple larger teams across the globe, Confluence makes it so easy for us to update our expectations on ticket handling and cascading knowledge to our entire agents base.

Pros

It's been one of the best tools we've used to keep our KB updated.

Cons

Learning curve for beginners has been noticeable as most people come from a Jira environment, however once they learn the basics everything goes smooth as butter ;D

### "The best for startups and enterprises "

April 25, 2025

5.0

I’ve used confluence for nearly 10 years at every organization I go to and enjoy helping startups start to use confluence to maintain their internal documentation

Pros

I love being able to make pages and share them with team members so we can edit in real time simultaneously

Cons

Add a very large enterprise scale with thousands of users it gets slow and kind of buggy, but is fantastic for teams under 1000!

5.0

My overall experience with Confluence has been really good and I have been using it for quite sometime now. It is very easy to create multi-page documents and update them. It also offers a large number of templates to choose from.

Pros

The best part about confluence is that it is a great tool for collaborative work. It is also very easy to create multi-page documents and it is easy to maintain and update them.

Cons

The thing that I like the least about confluence is that some of the essential features are missing in the free version.

Confluence has enhanced our organizational capabilities through main and sub-spaces that maintain the continuity of documentation and updates.

Pros

Confluence features organized spaces for data management that simplify the coordination of workflow between all departments, maintains the centralization of documentation and the integrity of reviews. I loved how Confluence ensures that information is continuously accessible to everyone in real time and the ease of adding and formatting content, whether at the level of reports or interactive panels. Confluence always makes content more attractive and makes it easy for the team to browse and add notes. I loved the advanced search options that allow access to any document or information with extreme ease.

### "Great for team collaborations"

August 11, 2025

5.0

Pros

We use confluence to help centralize our Company documentation, such as company policies and employee handbook. It serves as a great internal resource/knowledge base for our employees. It also sends email notifications out to team members if there are updates specific pages.

Cons

There isn't anything that is a major con but I do wish that the formatting of pages can support more advanced layouts as it currently only offers a simple and basic design.

### "A powerful tool for knowledge management"

April 2, 2025

4.0

It's undeniably a powerful tool for knowledge management and collaboration, particularly for teams already invested in the Atlassian ecosystem. Its ability to create a centralized repository for information and facilitate real-time collaboration is a significant advantage.

Pros

What I appreciated most about Confluence is its centralized nature and collaborative potential. It effectively acts as a single source of truth for project documentation, meeting notes, and knowledge sharing. The ability to create structured pages, link them, and easily search for information is incredibly valuable for team collaboration. The page hierarchy and the ability to embed various media types (images, videos, documents) made it easy to create rich and informative content.

Cons

The editor itself, while powerful, can be clunky and unintuitive at times, especially when dealing with complex layouts or tables. The permissions system, while robust, can be difficult to manage, particularly for large teams with diverse access needs.

### "Confluence is a good option for document and process visibility"

March 1, 2025

3.0

It is a better option than having documents spread out in different folders. It is good how it can hold multi-media and it is relatively easy to edit.

Pros

It is easy to add content to Confluence and flexible when you need to adjust where it lives.

Cons

The search function is poor, there is no AI to help guide your choices and people find it hard to navigate and understand where to find the content.

### "Sometimes the love is not enough for Confluence "

May 22, 2025

3.0

Confusion as to its need sometimes because it does what share point does? I’m not sure which one the Client I work with got first. Like I said searching can be a pain.

Pros

The ability to store/save/document anything. I mean anything! This is true alongside Its wiki-like abilities

Cons

Seems cumbersome when I’m looking for something in particular. It’s each performance is questionable.

### "Keeps me organized"

March 19, 2026

5.0

I really can’t imagine working without Confluence every day. I would struggle to stay organized without it.

Pros

It really helps keep me organized with my daily tasks and long term project planning at work. I’m able to quickly see what I need to work on.

Cons

There seems to be a bug with the way tasks are displayed under certain columns on my tracking board that is cluttering my board in a frustrating way.
