There are frequent user enhancements made which improves the experience. I like this tool for making documentation and information easily accessible internally especially when working for a large corporation. Pros The ability to create documentation in a manner that is organized and intuitive. Cons It can be difficult to format items like images within the formatting of the pages. We store most of the critical data and documents related to our product in there. We haven't faced any issues so far. Pros Confluence provides the best workspace to organise our documents and it has very interactive user interface. It is also very secure and reliable. The project management the knowledge management are top tier. It can also be used for marketing which I haven't looked into too much yet, but it does look like it has potential to be effective. In any case, you wouldn't be disappointed using Confluence. Pros Confluence has so much great information for project managers right at their fingertips. It helps plan and coordinate your schedule. It also has AI integrated into it which can be so helpful when you are at a crossroads. Templates are simple yet effective. Cons The only thing I will say is that since this software is not as big as other major websites and information sources, it can have a lack of information, as well as having outdated sites and sources. The real-time editing and comment functionalities make it incredibly easy for my team to work together on documentation. The integration with other Atlassian tools like Jira adds even more value. Cons One thing which felt hard for me while using confluence is to find docs from different spaces when too many spaces and docs are there. I think the main reason is that it would take time to arrange and keep the docs in correct places and name it correctly. The team receives email updates regularly (too often in my opinion, and not tailored enough) Pros Confluence makes it easy to collaborate, it's great for team docs and project tracking. Mail updates are usefull Cons Mail updates are a little bit too frequent. The interface is too cluttered and hard to navigate in the beginning. I love the ability to create, collaborate and comment on pages and project plans with my team. We can all work together in real time, making updates and changes as needed, and keeping everyone up to date. Pros Confluence is quite versatile in that I can use it to create documents, organize a project, collaborate on several projects just to name a few. I also really like that is has dedicated spaces for different teams to work on projects and allows for connection across our teams. Cons It can be limited and somewhat hard to use at first. Pros It can be a useful tool to collaborate with colleagues on various projects. If set up correctly it could improve efficiency. Cons I find that things just get lost and out of date in Confluence. Pros Confluence has enabled myself and my team to keep a single point of reference where you can always count on to have the latest enterprise data, it's very reliable and has very good search capabilities shortenning the time to find a piece of information. Cons It works best when you have the whole package of Atlassian which includes Jira and Bitbucket, It also has good integration with other tools but best all the tools to come from one "home". Pros It looks good, has great integration options with other tools, and it's really easy to collaborate with other people. Cons The navigation can be a little confusing, I'm not always able to easily find the pages I'm looking for. Switched from [Microsoft SharePoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/1167/SharePoint/) Confluence is much better, Sharepoint has a unclear user interface and it's much harder to collaborate there. I wish I had known about it when I was a university student, since it's much more useful than OneNote in my opinion. Pros It is very customizable and has many integrations, but the basics of word processing are very quick and easy to use right away. Confluence is evidently on par with its competitors from the moment you start using it, and only gets more impressive the deeper you learn about it. Cons The 3rd party integrations are not always well-vetted. It would be nice to have the more popular ones built-in and supported as core features which can be enabled. If you do however have other Tracking Software (Monday, Clickup etc.) - The use of Confluence might not be the best fit. Pros Confluence is easy to use and fast to setup. The page builders work well and relatively rich sites can be built using it Cons The interoperability with external plugins is sometimes lacking. Cons It's table of contents isn't my favourite and wish there was an easier way to group related articles together.
