If some one needs the KT on some of our modules we are working on, we will share the confluence links so that they can go through it and get the knowledge. This pages are easy to maintain and also can limit to teams as well as open for all. If teams are distributed they can share the common info in confluence. Cons there are not much cons for confluence I feel scaling of tables and images is not up to the mark. Apart from that every thing is cool. This has been an effective tool for placing news, information, files, and more all in one place, which is easy to access and easy to use! Pros I like that the interface of Confluence is simple and logical and easy to use. In this present day of the internet, we are used to wikis, and therefore having wikis used in a corporate environment is a great way to organize and share information. Cons I felt that the software's interface was very simple and did not look as modern as it could be. Pros Confluence is a great document repository for planning development projects and share team interaction, meeting notes, resolutions, task delegation and over all document management for your company. It also helps to quickly generate PDF type reports of JIRA issues as it can pull JIRA data. Cons The application could have a better integration with 3rd party options. The marketplace is not as rich as on JIRA. Pros The platform is great to use for small companies to post information, stay connected and updated on new policies, benefit info and other things happening across our teams. Cons System is what is it. It's standard and does the trick - good to keep simply - but also not a lot of flexibility to go above and beyond. It's easy to access and search for whatever you need more information on. Pros It's a centralized placed to view/share knowledge. Confluence gives you the ability to limit edits/views to just certain groups/users. You can even favorite articles and view them later to build up your own store of Knowledge. The team can stay on one page, and if there is any movement, all relevant people will also see any changes Pros I use this software to manage the collaboration between a client or a project team. Synchronize progress, assign tasks to key people, and set deadline, etc. Cons After setting the task to the relevant responsible person and timeline, if a similar timeline is reached, can an email reminder be sent.
