So every new tester or developer or productowner had a place with information where they could add comments or input. Pros I used Confluence to create testplans and write manuals for new and exiting software. In Confluence it's easy to create templates to use for manuals and it easy to link to different parts in confluence. It's easy to add different information and set-ups into existing texts Cons You need to take time to create a layout that will work for you. In the beginning is takes getting used to working with it. The many macro capabilities that Confluence offers are particularly helpful for organising papers and integrating data from other apps. It is an excellent tool for producing papers and information documents for projects and sharing them with team members for viewing and working on projects together. Pros I love the team calendar because I see each of their own roadmaps, Confluence empowers our collaboration and Roadmaps is an essential part of the product. If one team stumbled, we can fix it right away without forgetting it in some days. Innovation for each team is properly mapped out, and our Organization is truly accountable for any projects that are successful or not. Cons Widget overwhelm, it has too many and maybe a nice feature is to have a filter for among the best and most suited on what type of Organization. Relevancy of widgets is a must. We mostly used it as a knowledge base central, and it's great to input data, but finding them is a little complicated that another software might provide even better. Its design is innovative, which allows any work team to use it without any problem. And the most important thing is to be able to use your mobile app and be in the whole process of your projects and not miss anything. Pros Since using Confluence my teamwork has improved immensely. Our work has become more collaborative and this has taken us to a higher level in terms of planning and organization. It is the most complete software we have ever tested. Very easy to use and very efficient. Cons What I did not like is the free trial, it only lasts a week, they should extend it up to 15 days, so it would convince even more of the really good thing that is Confluence. Pros I like that each page has its own versioning and you can easily see the changes from one version or the other and even switch back to an older version. I also used it for design specs for software products. I used it constantly, and really enjoyed the ease of use and simplicity of the interface. I would keep absolutely all the notes I took in each meeting in confluence. It's really easy to use it that way. Pros I liked the simplicity of the interface, the shortcuts, and the accessibility of all documents across the organization. Cons There was very little that was frustrating about it. Probably the hardest thing to deal with was trying to share documents in confluence outside of the organization; it's not easy to do so.
