Using Confluence to start and finish a project showed the real value for money as our team saw a return in time and organization. The file sharing and file conversion tools made every task between the team expedient during the work process,

Pros

Confluence works perfectly in supplying the features one needs to bring together a team to work on any project from start to finish. The ease of use shows initiating a project idea, and from there the concise organization of the A.I. can also assist in streamlining any work pipeline.

Cons

Using Confluece I never encountered any bugs and issues, the software performs great and the customer support guides are useful for clarifying key tools within the software.

My overall experience with Confluence was quite positive. It provided an orderly home for campaign plans, operating procedures, tracking guidance, and cross-functional decisions. However, finding current material became harder as content accumulated, and tables or exports often required additional cleanup. Overall, Confluence was a dependable collaboration and knowledge-sharing platform, which is why I'm comfortable with a 4/5 rating.

Pros

What I liked most about Confluence was its ability to turn scattered institutional knowledge into a structured resource for the entire team. It gave us one place where we were able to maintain campaign briefs, account-specific requirements, measurement protocols, and creative guidelines instead of distributing that information across various apps, messages, and files. The page templates and version history encouraged consistency, while its editing features made it easier to keep track of and preserve important decisions. Although navigation became more difficult as the workspace grew, Confluence was highly effective at creating a reliable source of truth for recurring processes and work that was cross-functional in nature.

Cons

What I liked least about Confluence was how difficult it became to navigate as documentation expanded. More than once, Search surfaced outdated pages, while copying tables from Excel or Google Sheets regularly created formatting issues. PDF and Word exports also handled complex layouts poorly, making Confluence less suitable for polished client deliverables despite its aforementioned strength as an internal knowledge base.

My overall experience with Confluence has been average. It’s useful for organizing documentation and sharing information across a team, but the interface can be confusing at times, and some features take getting used to. It does what it needs to do, but I think the user experience and customer support could be improved.

Pros

Confluence is useful for keeping documentation, project notes, and team information in one place. I like that multiple people can contribute and share knowledge, making it easier to keep everyone on the same page without relying on endless email threads.

Cons

The interface can feel cluttered, and finding specific settings or organizing pages isn’t always as intuitive as it should be. There’s also a learning curve for new users, and some features feel more complicated than necessary. Customer support could be more responsive, too.

Real-time live editing with cursors, page comments, @mention and tasks boost collaboration across all business units in my organization.

Pros

With Confluence, I am able to document my organization’s work. Collaborative editing and real-time co-authoring centralize discussions across all departments in one page.

Cons

I can’t complain because I integrated Confluence with both Jira & Atlassian ecosystems which makes it easy now to access live tickets with status, auto-updates to when they are done.

Confluence has been our go-to document publication to maintain our latest product user stories. The AI ROVO has been enhanced in a positive manner and we expect more from it.

Pros

The usage of Rovo is more than it was previously. The different elements that are present now such as decision doc, team progress reports and Templates offer customized documentation in line with the activity that is being conducted. We have made full use of the JIRA board to track the User story progress and its appropriate statuses (On track/ At risk/ blocked).

Cons

The issues of slowness when a lengthy document is published with diagrams and flowcharts still continues. Moreover, the copy paste of image needs a bit of improvement.

Generally good overall, use it frequently, it is a good standard place to put documentation for the whole team to see, especially when it is relating to tickets in Jira

Pros

Nice that it links in with Jira so smoothly, showing ticket names just from adding the links, and has good ui when it comes to writing documentation

Cons

the list of files on left hand side of the page when looking at a document can get a bit cluttered or hard to find files within.

Confluence is my go to tool for maintaining the company knowledge base and all of my project documents, test results, etc. tied back to my JIRA project.

Pros

It’s easy to use and add content to. It also ties into JIRA nicely and is great for a knowledgeable and place for all your project artifacts.

Cons

The thing I like least about Confluence is exporting a large amount of content out of Confluence is kind of a pain.

Confluence offers strong ease of use for technical documentation and good value for money. When workspace permissions acted up, customer support helped resolve access fast.

Pros

Linking technical spec pages directly to Jira issues works well. Key features like inline file sharing and pdf file conversion make architecture reviews simple for engineering teams.

Cons

The rich text editor occasionally formats code blocks incorrectly, introducing formatting bugs and issues when copying shell commands into runbooks.

### "All the knowledge, in one place"

Absolutely great experience, one of the most useful tools we introduced and will surely propose it in any new job.

Pros

All the company's knowledge in one place. We use it for training and guidebooks in order to store every process. Absolutely user friendly and very easy to organize each space as you prefer. There are several types of page customization based on your needs with the possibility to upload also files under a certain limit. Never experienced any major bug or issue.

Cons

AI features can be improved, even though is not too important for us at the moment. Also size limit of the files is a bit strict but it depends on the needs. Search of the pages can be easier.
