Let me start off by saying....Gingr's support is out of this world! My questions are answered usually in a matter of minutes with their Live Chat Support. One of the highlights of Gingr is that the development team is constantly improving the program and they really listen to their customers. They take our suggestions and continually strive to make the program exactly what we need. This honestly is probably the best thing about them and they continue to exceed my expectations. Gingr is easy to learn and easy to customize for your business. The transition into Gingr was relatively smooth and support was there to help me along the way. My clients absolutely love having a customer portal to update their information and create reservations. Gingr has filled in the gaps where our old system left off and I am extremely pleased with them! I highly, highly, highly recommend Gingr to anyone who is looking for a top-notch program to manage their kennel/grooming/day care business.

I had a customer email me this morning and say how easy it was to make a reservation and it reminded me how thankful I am to have found Gingr! This program has seriously added years onto my life! I have a very small retreat on my property. I generally have between 7-14 dogs at a time and grew very quickly. I was really struggling to keep up with the phone calls, scheduling and vaccination records while also trying to build the business and work another full-time job. It was overwhelming to say the least. When I started looking at software programs it was obvious that Gingr was the right choice. This software was created by people with experience running a boarding business and very talented and forward-thinking programmers. They are constantly asking for feedback and suggestions and improving their product. They even have a Facebook group for all of us to share ideas and suggestions and sometimes make changes immediately! They find a way to help each of their customers, big and small. I cannot say enough about their customer service and how friendly and cool everyone is that works there. I am so thankful to have found this program and don't know how I managed all of this before!

This software system gave my business wings!! Due to the software I can sit anywhere in the world and know exactly what is going on in my business. The software also made it possible for my dog hotel atFrits to franchise sooner than we anticipated. The reporting function is amazing and makes it possible for management to keep a finger on the pulse.

Pros

The software system gives me a birds eye view of my business any minute of the day.

Accounting reporting, but still good

Pros

Ease of use. Allows customers to make their own reservations online. Lots of customizable email templates.

Cons

Seems there is at least one credit card issue a week. I don't like that notes don't pop up when people check in or out.

Pros

Gingrs ease of use and functions didn't suit the complex nature of our business but would be great for more simply structered service based business.

Cons

Even though we did all our research, the industry is new to us. Gingr not only helped us set up our own processes but encouraged us to think about things we hadn't put much thought to before (such as how to utilize the customer profile to ensure we get important questions answered without pestering them during check-in!) The customer service is excellent, the software is superb, and I just don't know how anyone can keep everything straight without it. I'm so glad we have Gingr and staff!

Pros

Organization, tons of functions we didn't expect (love the new time clock, by the way!), and hardly ever has a problem!

Cons

It's a little tricky to set up, but that's only because it does EVERYTHING. The staff is extremely helpful for tips, tricks, and figuring out what I messed up when I didn't understand what I was doing.

Pros

The live chat and instant help is SO GREAT.

Cons

There are a lot of hidden nuances that you don't realize need to be checked or unchecked for editing purposes, but it's no big deal because you can ask for help on live chat!! :)

Our clients are crazy for the report cards they get for their pets and we love the tip options at checkout. Sending mass emails is a breeze. Having the option for clients to request reservations online have been vet convenient for them and ya.

Cons

I cannot think of anything we dislike. Gingr is great!

Pros

Very customizable. We are a smaller boarding facility and Gingr is a great fit for us with the ability to grow as we do. Customer support is second to none. The support staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Cons

Not much?? A few minor bugs but I think they are working on fixes for them.

Our overall experience with Gingr has been great, They are transparent if they are experiencing any technical difficulties and we really appreciate the learning center they have available. Shout out to customer service, they resolved our issues in a timely manner

Pros

Ease of use, Great for an expanding business, and top notch customer service.

Cons

Reporting leaves a little to be desired, And I wish some of the functionality was more user friendly for business with multiple locations. For example, I would like to be able to add 1 coupon for all locations and not have to create the same coupon multiple times.

We started using gingr for our dog daycare/boarding facility this year. We went from a paper calendar to this software. It is very user friendly, and easy to learn. It looks good, and is straight forward. Our customers love that they can schedule online, and that they can update their dog's information, see report cards, upload pictures, and add their own notes! The online scheduling saves us a great deal of time, instead of a long phone call, making a reservation is literally one click of the mouse! The best thing about gingr is the customer service! Aaron and Lee go above and beyond to quickly help with any problem, and are continually adding great new features. This is a new product, and there are some hiccups here and there, but any of them are solved almost immediately. We are excited to grow with gingr, and think this product is perfect for any dog daycare, from a home based small business, to a large warehouse!

A more personal way to send updates to owners and let owners have more control over their dog's reservation.

Pros

Everything is very easy to use, I like the dashboard on the side that helps you navigate fast. I like that you can see the full day laid out by grooming, daycare, and boarding.

Cons

No customer instant support on weekends. When uploading videos it would be nice to see a thumbnail or preview on that video. When uploading multiple videos you cannot see what dog is in what video without opening multiple tabs and downloading the video to see.

Initially I was reluctant to switch over to Gingr from the vast assortment of programs I had cobbled together for use over the past decade, but now that we're several months in, I don't even know that I could put together a comprehensive list of all the programs and apps Gingr has replaced for us. But beyond being a one-stop go-to for dog daycare/boarding businesses, it has also provided us with uses I had not imagined... Photo and video report cards easily generated and emailed/texted; remote monitoring of dog census at my two businesses; accepting payments and making reservations over smart phones while away from the business computer, tracking our "big-spenders" and auto-couponing clients we haven't seen in a while; auto-notifications of soon to be due vaccinations. Plus, the app is constantly being updated with new helpful features generated at least in part by ideas from business owners and employees!

We have tried other computer softwares and they let us down big time! Gingr is so easy that training receptionist is a breeze! Their chat support is amazing and free! We paid on other sites just to get the help gingr gives us instantly. Would highly recommend this software to any boarding, grooming, training, daycare facility!

We really improved our customer service and increased our ability to be more personable with clients.

Pros

The quick check in, the speed of the software, the ability for the software to be on a mobile device.

Cons

The transportation specalist that we set up was not really customizable, we were also not allowed to make our own emails - we had to base emails off the templates that were provided, open pos items could be a little easier to where we could customize the price in the cart

We have been through multiple programs trying to find an all in one program to schedule training, boarding, daycare and grooming. Many other programs claimed to be able to accommodate but none were working. We took one more suggestion to try Gingr and we were skeptical but I am glad we made the move. It was a fairly easy transition and its very easy to use for our 'non computer' staff.

Pros

Easy to use. Nice to look at.

Cons

Updates sometimes change things that i am not expecting but its usually an easy fix and he support is always very helpful.

Pros

I like this product because its easy to use and the support team is always so helpful. They never leave your chat until you understand the solution. Really like that there is always new updated to make the software better and easy to use. Just overall a great experience.

Cons

(suggestion)The support chat is only available Monday through Friday. Would love to see few hours available on the weekend. But, I totally understand people need time off.
