There are more packages according to needs. Pros Barcode Producer? Yes but from which manufacturer. Apparent? There are dozens that I can recommend for serious work in the professional version. Let's say from "tec-it", very accurately and by all regulations creates codes. Also recommended by gs1 organization. Cons Software price. If you are interested in serious work, they will pay. It must be very simple to use because no one ever asks me how to use it. I get asked all kinds of silly questions about other software that I support, but not this one! Pros We bought a site license so we can install on as many computers as we need, and there's only one serial number to keep track of. This makes my job of administering it very easy. Also, the Mac version of the installer is a .pkg file which plays nicely with our deployment system. Cons Once installed I do have to manually activate it with the serial number, which can be a pain to do multiple installs at once. Also, there haven't been many updates to the software in the few years we have used it, but it's still working on the latest macOS (currently 10.13).
