Pros: Flipcause provides a useful financial reporting structure for small non-profits and a creative springboard for fundraising ideas. The staff is available and helpful in problem solving . The simplification of record keeping provided by this system allows us to focus on our programming and on the animal residents of our Sanctuary without a big administrative overhead.

Cons: Would like to see a donate by text feature added- believe that may be available soon and the addition of this feature would make fundraising easier.

Overall: Highly beneficial to our very small non-profit in developing fundraising campaigns and in planning and hosting events-it is a cost effective low overhead administrative tool that we have found to be invaluable.

Great prompt service. They did exactly as I'd asked in time for me to forge ahead!

Pros: I can do a lot with minimal skills and what I can't do, Team Phoenix does for me. It's not THAT different from Wordpress, which I've used in the past. The home page looks great. There's a SUPPORT button that pops up on each page, but it's respectfully in the lower right corner so it doesn't feel too grasping. We can change the content ourselves as we add more Peace Missions. Other Peace Games Ambassadors should be able to add their content too which will add more and more followers to our cause, which we desperately need!

Cons: Can't figure out how to add text to pix, but I'm getting there. My assistant figured out how to add a BLOG to the menu on her own, so it's not rocket science. I think I'll be able to figure it out so we can add the immediate and ongoing story of our work for our supporters. It's a learning process and certainly not rocket science! Whenever faced with a problem, the Team has fixed it within 2 days, so that solves the problem, but it feels best to DYI.

Overall: Weebly? Great for our purposes.

Our experience has been in the "this is too good to be true" category truly grateful for Flipcause!

Pros: We love how easy it is to interact with Flipcause from editing our website to entering data to printing reports and to managing funds. We also have taken advantage of the form creator to help improve our ease of correspondence with authors.

Cons: We are looking forward to the launch of customer service software, which will help us be in frequent contact with people who are interacting with us through the website.

Overall: We were able to launch a fresh website and were "live," receiving memberships and subscriptions within weeks of signing the contract with Flipcause greatly improving the experience of our members in their interaction with us. We are hopeful about the future because of the amazing products Flipcause is offering and it seems like they are putting new campaigns online all the time. I can't wait to see what they make available next!

I needed assistance in cloning and publishing a campaign for an annual event.

Pros: I like the functionality and adaptability of it to a variety of needs, and the customer support is amazing.

Cons: This isn't really a negative about the software, but I find that when there's a length of time between uses, say for an annual event, it's difficult to remember the steps involved.

Overall: Versatility and adaptability to our individual agency needs. Superior customer support.

Pros: We had options, I was able to choose to use either the concierge service or manage the system myself. The stats tracking would have also been helpful, if there were any stats to track.

Cons: The software to not serve as a value for our organization and it was sold to us. Currently, we have paid out money and have not received any more traffic, donors, or revenue for using the service and it is difficult to pay the fee. This site states the different rate, they charged us different price, and I cannot imagine we have a highly sophisticated/complex site that requires additional fees, if so, they was never expressed to us. And we explained our financial situation and as to why we needed to use the service.

The additional hidden fees are also upsetting. The quarterly fee, the fees per transactions, the fee because my browser requires an SSL certification. Doesn't this company realize they are primarily working with nonprofits that need their help, otherwise, they would not need this type of service. I'm disappoint because they sold us on a lot of things that turned out to be different.

Since having the service/software it has not saved time, or increased our visibility, or revenue.

Overall: I learned of a new platform to host our website that would be more user friendly than what we had in the past.

We've only been with Flipcause for 2 months, but I'm loving it already!

Pros: Most of all I like the customer service! Our success team is easy to contact and works very, very hard to meet my every request promptly and completely. I like the new website, and I enjoy being able to make some minor changes to it myself. However, the success team does all the big stuff and takes a lot of work off my plate! I still have a lot to learn about the possibilities for our organization, but right now I'm glad we chose Flipcause. What a great organization for small non-profits!

Cons: Sometimes the editing site does not work, and I'm unable to add new events, download documents, or save my work without lots of tries.
I really wish the site would cooperate with Constant Contact as well as Mail Chimp.
We are also waiting in hope for the site to be able to do online auctions.

Pros: Pricing is low, feature rich and all new modules included with the plans.

They have so many great aspects including full website redevelopment/CMS included.

Cons: No CRM yet but it's coming soon.

No freemium version but they will offer a free trial month.

New on the scene.

The website built and the service provided are outstanding.

Pros: Our customer-support tech, has been very helpful. His ideas are great and his follow-up is excellent. Whenever I have a question, he answers it; whenever I have an idea, he helps me improve it. The website that Flipcause built is professional-looking and addresses all our needs.

Overall: Problems I have with learning about all the features of the website are answered quickly and correctly by our representative.

Comments: Had they addressed the email issue and had a few more years under their belts, we probably would have chosen them.

Pros: Good support and very nice people. They were very accommodating. And, it seemed to do most of what we needed.

Cons: No integrated email yet, which was very important to us. Not as much experience as the product we selected.

Comments: I'd recommend Flipcause to a medium-sized, well-established non-profit looking for something new in the fundraising software market. Flipcause isn't that great for start-up non profits with small budgets and low donor activity.

Pros: Customer service is great. The option to allow donors to take on the card processing fee is fantastic (we've saved over $500 in fees in 6 months). Product has a lot to offer, features-wise.

Cons: Company is still growing so some tools are not in place yet (like a shopping cart feature for multiple purchases), overall look and feel is a little cheesy but it gets the job done, site can be glitchy on occasion

Flipcause has been easy to learn. We have be able to start campaigns and run them right away.

Comments: It is a good solution for a small non-profit like us.

Pros: I like the ability to make many campaigns at once. I like how they give the donor the option to pay the fees. The website tool is easy and our website was transferred over quickly and without issue.

Cons: It takes too long to get an excel report emailed to you. Custom questions have to relate to every category in a campaign, rather than just certain categories.

Flipcause is so easy to navigate!

Comments: As a small organization, we'd never been able to justify investing in fancy CRM. We cobbled together the services we needed, often losing high percentages of our donations or ticket sales.
It was a constant nightmare of keeping track of which donor preferred which method, not to mention the hassle of reconciling so many accounts. With Flipcause, we don't have to compromise.

We have customizable service, at a rate we can afford, and we have an account manager who treats us like we're his most important client. I know exactly who I'm talking to when I call for help. Over this past year, I've seen how my feedback impacts the platform's growth. It's exciting to watch a service evolve, and to grow along with it. This attention to customer feedback means that all of the users are benefiting from others' experience.

I didn't think it would be possible for us to get a service that was so flexible within our budget. My teammates and I are able to use the service for our very different needs - from volunteer management, event registration, to fundraising. I love that I can create a specialized campaign with such ease.

One of the biggest rewards has been starting a recurring donor program. I set it up during our free trial, and by the end of that month, I knew we would stay.

Flipcause gave me what I wanted and needed with GREAT staff support

Pros: Ease of use, ease of exports for syncing up with other softwares (accounting, database, email applications), and STAFF SUPPORT and availability.

Cons: Wish I could make edits to info entered by donors.

Overall: We've been using Flipcause for about 2 months and it has been a fantastic experience thus far. The team at Flipcause is extremely responsive and available for any and all questions, will hold your hand through any process, and will set your campaign up for OR with you, to help it have a professional feel and match your branding. The export process for communication with email services, database, and accounting is simple and straightforward, and the ability to transfer funds as often or rarely as you want makes admin tasks streamlined and flexible. It's great!

Though there are a few things that could be different, that is ALWAYS the case with any system, and the staff is constantly making adjustments based on feedback so there's lots of room to help guide changes to the system. I wish I could search in different ways, and make edits to info that donors enter when they donate (like if they make a type-o, I can't change it alter). Otherwise, totally happy customer.

Recommendations to other buyers: It's awesome.

Comments: Flipcause is a great product with a plethora of fundraising tools. We really liked how they offer service to nonprofits who are 100% volunteer run, showing they are committed to helping and serving organizations, not just looking to charge and arm and a leg like some other companies. The tools are easy to use and look great on your website. Unfortunately we are in need of a full CRM and Flipcause does not have this at this time and still are unsure when they will develop it.

Comments: I am so thankful that I found out about Flipcause back in 2015. My nonprofit's website benefited immensely from the software, which gave us a smooth, sleek, and easy-to-use donation portal far better than that offered by Paypal. The Flipcause portal asked donors if they wanted to cover transaction fees with their donations to ensure we received 100% of intended donations. The donation portal also gave users the option to make recurrent donations and generated donor receipts for those who wanted them for their tax records. WHENEVER I had a question, I could send an email or make a phone call and get a near-immediate response. Fortunately, I did not have many questions because the software was easy to incorporate into our nonprofit's Wordpress site-- it was all highly intuitive. Thank you Flipcause for making my life as the President of a young nonprofit easier. I would highly recommend your products to anyone looking for similar features.

Cons: Learning curve, things are somewhat spread out so you have to go to a few different areas in order to make some changes.

Overall: We are a very small organization who values every single dollar that comes in. The FlipCause platform allows us to operate much more efficiently while allowing our supporters an easy and secure avenue to contribute to our programming. While there is a learning curve with getting things set up initially, we are supported 100% by our wonderful Success Manager. She is knowledgeable and patient in getting us up to speed. In addition, they are always looking to improve and are appreciative of our feedback as it helps them to create a more robust system for us, the non-profit users.

Give it a shot! I promise you won't regret it!

Comments: I have been so pleased with Flipcause-- not only does this company offer an AMAZING donation portal for its participating nonprofits, but it also has excellent customer service. Whenever I have a question or a concern, I get a reply within hours. The donation portal is sleek easy to use. Donors love it because it gives them the opportunity to specify exactly WHAT they would like their donation to go to. It makes donors aware of the cost of transaction, and gives them the opportunity to cover that cost. It also provides customers with a means of obtaining a donor receipt. The Flipcause professional portal has earned my nonprofit a more professional reputation, and for that we are all very thankful :)

Comments: I am the Artistic Director of Palanza Dance Company in San Francisco. We are a fiscally sponsored, professional group of 15 dancers and actors. We have performed in over 30 venues in the past 7 years, including the DeYoung Museum, ODC Dance Theater, Dance Mission Theater and 1 Grove.

Our experience fundraising through FLIPCAUSE has been more than ideal. We have tried other fundraising platforms, and have found FLIPCAUSE the site to be the most "for us"; they are an extremely responsive and upbeat team of professionals who care deeply about making it easy for organizations who need to raise money successfully.

Comments: My organization, SowHope, recently started using Flipcause. We have had an excellent experience so far, from the initial demo with Tyler to constant support from Alex as we get the hang of things. Customer service from Flipcause has been phenomenal. I always receive a response and usually a solution within less than 24 hours, and everyone I have interacted with at Flipcause has been not only pleasant, but inspiring. The company claims to have a real desire to see non-profits succeed and grow through their services, and staff attitudes exhibit this same message. And as promised, new and improved features just arrived in January, and we are looking forward to what will come next! I strongly recommend Flipcause to any nonprofit looking for easy-to-use tools all bundled in one dashboard for quick management and editing.
