Good and fair so far. I am keeping one eye open though.

Pros

Set it and forget it. User friendly and good service if I need help.

Cons

Telling me that they wouldnt raise the monthly service fee, and then try to raise ot on me, after also receiving a percentage of my donors gift.

Tracking donations as well as student payments and a professional way to communicate with everyone.

Pros

While it took time for me to use the product, once I was familiar with it I was very glad that I went this route to capture my required work associated with doing business as a university. I especially appreciate when I came to a challenging task help was available until I fully grasped how to do something. I know I can get the answer needed and they will work until I understand.

Cons

It is a new language and yes it took time to learn.

Pros

The donor base mixed with giving management is what I consider a top feature of Flipcause. Very easy to use and straight forward in comparison to other systems we've used in the past. Also the website management is pretty stellar as well. Simple to use, and easy to figure out if you don't know how to use an application.

Cons

I think some of the analytics (like the graphs, and some filtering of contacts, like displaying them all at once on the application) could be improved.

### "Saves me time and money!"

Sometimes I have miscommunication with my website managers, seems they don't always pay attention to details. They still save me time and are super friendly when they miss something.

Pros

Flipcause is easy for me to use, is less expensive for donors and myself, and helps with my website management. Has freed up so much of my time!

Cons

Wish there was a more marketing software available, such as email marketing.

Pros

The software is user friendly, and the customer service that comes with it is fast and extremely helpful. We are now able to run all fundraising efforts, including event registrations, as well as volunteer management in one place! It has really helped us streamline our database of donors, volunteers, and events.

Cons

We do wish it was integrated and would sync with Constant Contact so we didn't have to export and import contact records from one to the other.

If I had stayed with the three different services I had to use at an annual cost of at least $800, I would still be taking 3x management time to produce the results I receive from FlipCause at $1200 per year.

Pros

Packaged features and great support at no extra cost.

Cons

There hasn't been any downside to using FlipCause for our mini-nonprofit.

I happened to learn of FlipCause when applying for a grant. I was not looking for alternatives, as I did not know that such existed.

I have highly recommended Flipcause with sister nonprofits.

Pros

Flipcause's customer service is second to none. I appreciate being able to send an email with a request, have the request fulfilled within hours and also providing tools to help me create my own reports.

Cons

I find it difficult to have people's names and information entered in multiple times so one donor may show up many times in one report - when all the information should be under one name. That may be more user error than anything.

### "Flipcause is a necessity for non-profit fundraising!"

Flipcause is our platform for fundraising campaigns! It is our payment gateway and how we edit our website! We also manage our donations and run reports through this platform. We could not survive without it!

Pros

One of the best things about Flipcause is their customer support! Flipcause helped us set up, customize, and integrate the platform with the tools we were already using. They trained several of our team members on how to use the platform to benefit our needs. And when we need assistance, they reply promptly and are very helpful.

Cons

Honestly, there are so many options of things that you can do on the Flipcause platform that it can be over-whelming. Thankfully, their staff trains you in exactly what you need to reach your goals and are always available to help/clarify/explain things.

### "Conservation Through Recreation"

We have been able to integrate all of our fundraising and race registration platforms into a single software that is intuitive to use, and we have the support of prompt professionals to help in the event that we need help.

Pros

For our non-profit, we raise money for native trout conservation through outdoor events / races and through peer to peer fundraising campaigns. Flipcause has made both of these efforts very straightforward and productive. For years, I used other race registration software to get people signed up for our events. In talking with a Flipcause representative several years ago, I discovered that I could do event registration AND peer to peer fundraising through the same software. And compared to the other softwares I have used, Flipcause is very simple to learn while still being very versatile. But perhaps the greatest part about Flipcause is that if I run into a wall with what I am capable of doing on my own, Flipcause will quickly do what I need done as a part of my monthly cost.

Cons

To be honest, there isn't much that I don't like about Flipcause.

I was brand new to using websites, campaign management, and donor management. Flipcause was recommended to me by a colleague at another Agency. The customer service is exceptional! They are so responsive and patient with my endless questions and over time, I have learned to do things on my own that I didn't initially think I could do! From the look of our website to the customer service provided, I couldn't be more pleased.

Pros

I love all of the features Flipcause offers. When I decided to go with Flipcause, the customer service walked me through every step of migrating away from our WordPress platform to Flipcause. The website looks wonderful, my volunteers are using it and I much more confidence in my role as a website/donor manager!!

Cons

I can't think of anything at this time.

Our experience with Flipcause has been very positive. We are going on our third year using the services.

Pros

We like all of the features that Flipcause offers. We use the donor management and website maintenance features the most. Flipcause is always adding and upgrading to the list of features that they provide. We find their services beneficial especially when we are planning an event.

Cons

At the current time we don't have any cons to share.

### "So easy to use"

I think it's a fantastic tool for the smaller NP, such as the one I work for. IT makes donor management a piece of cake. The credit card processing and website integration is super easy for someone who has a LOT fo other responsibilities.

Pros

I love that Flipcause has the lowest credit card processing fee I've ever seen. Ease of website edits is a huge plus as well. Although using the reports can be a little clunky, after a while I figured out how to pull the lists that I need.

Cons

Dislikes? Nothing comes to mind, to be honest.

We have been operating with a small volunteer board of directors and no paid employees. One of those board members was just learning how to maintain our existing website, but then had to resign from the board. In addition, our initial fundraising platform was GoFundMe--not an ideal solution for a capital campaign. Flipcause was a cost-effective solution to both problems.

Pros

The Flipcause "Success Team" got our website developed, with a fundraising platform linked, and published within about one week. Although we know very little about website development, we were then able to make simple modifications to the website on our own. For more complex modifications, their team is very responsive to requests.We especially like their approach to pricing: Annual fee based on size of organization when you sign up. They don't penalize you for growth; annual fee is fixed for future periods.

Cons

We have found that the time to transfer funds raised through the platform to our bank account is longer than the promised 3-10 business days. Our experience has been more like 13 business days.

Pros

The Flipcause team is very responsive to their customers. They don't feel like some gigantic organization that doesn't have time for you, like a lot of services out there. They're constantly working to expand and refine their product, and as a fellow startup, I can appreciate their roadmap and progress. And I don't think you'll find any other software that does as much for non-profits for their pricing. It's pretty unheard of.

Cons

Some of the backend of setting up campaigns and managing contacts is not as intuitive as I would want it to be. However, their support teams are super-accessible and willing to help. And, honestly, the more that a system is able to do, the less intuitive it generally is...no matter the system, you have to put in the work to understand it.

I absolutely love Flipcause and have been a customer for four years now. I also recommended another nonprofit who is also still a customer. It is excellent.

Pros

I love how it holds all of the data for my whole nonprofit business. Everything that comes in through my website and I enter into the software is then held into the system on our business. It is excellent and keeps everything organized.

Cons

Some of the nonprofit store functionality could be better. I wish it could be sorted by category of products. I wish when customers bought at my location that it did not shut down when too many people used my internet. It flags it as fraudulent when too many people buy in one location, but we have a physical store.

This software has many great features that allow organizations, such as ours, the opportunity to use on platform for many areas of our programming. This program covers administrative tasks for our educational programs, artistic programs, CRM, Donor Management, Fundraising, etc. All while offering a great platform which has saved us thousands of dollars within the first 3 months.

Cons

I wish there was a client portal where clients/customers/donors could log in and see their past purchases and updated/change their own data.

It is a good overall database for our small nonprofit. I like that they are coming out with new tools like integrating with Quick Books and Mail Chimp.

Pros

This has all the features we need for our small nonprofit. A database is only as good as the data you put into it, but once there, FlipCause is easy to use and has everything we need.

Cons

I would like more videos to teach me how to use features. Sometimes reading text is laborious and ineffective.

It has been wonderful. The team and support has been great!

Pros

I really like that it keeps track of all the donors and allows you to send them a thank you note after they make the donation. It's a one stop shop. I manage the website, fundraising, database and everything on here. I love that when there is a need to change something on the website, I can just email the team for support and they get it done.

Cons

I think that the communication when a project or update is complete can be better. I was waiting on someone to tell me that my website changes were complete, but I didn't receive a confirmation. When I went on to FlipCause it has already been done and I was just waiting.

The cost was in our budget and it has a lot of great things that were offered.

Our fundraising staff is entirely comprised of a few volunteers. Without Flipcause, we would require a small army of volunteers.

Pros

The totality of Flipcause's coverage of our needs. Flipcause not only handles our Sponsor-A-Child program, (our primary use of Flipcause), but also processes other fundraising programs as well. They supply a limitless choice of reporting formats, maintain voluminous contact information for all donors and provide tax receipts for all of our donors. Donated funds are sent to us at any time we request them.

Cons

To-date, we are totally satisfied with all aspects of Flipcause's services.
