We started using them early in their development and it has only continued to grow and improve. We went from using several different programs to just Flipcause and it’s nice to have one platform for everything. But, our website is also much better than before. We have used campaigns extensively. Our new animal shelter capital campaign and celebrity waiter dinner campaign have been especially effective through Flipcause. Pros Online fundraising for our non-profit has increased tremendously with Flipcause. We now have a much better website than previously, too. Customer service handles requests quickly and professionally. Cons Features we would like to have seen initially, such as text to give were not available. However, Flipcause just added that. July 3, 2019 5.0 Pros Flipcause is easy to use to create eye-catching, engaging campaigns. We have used Flipcause campaigns to create fundraising platforms and register participants for events. We began using Flipcause several years ago and have not had any problems with the software. The Flipcause employees (success team) are fantastic. They are responsive and help answer any questions in a timely manner. We are currently moving our outdated website over to a new Weebly platform through the Flipcause website package. The process has been easy, and the new website looks wonderful. Flipcause is an excellent resource for our small non-profit organization. Cons My only suggestion for improvement is related to the reports for various campaigns. If you want to figure out the amount of transaction fees, this requires you to do an extra step to subtract the amount received from the total of the transaction. It could be improved for the user to more clearly show a total of transaction fees on reports. Pros We initially used Flipcause for website migration and the process was much easier than I imagined it to be. Updates are fairly easy to do once you know how to do it. We started doing Campaign for various projects. It's not the most intuitive thing to figure out, however, and takes awhile to set up. We also have begun using the donor management feature. That also takes some work to understand how to manage. All in all, the tools are there to do a lot for a small nonprofit like we are. December 1, 2021 5.0 Accepting and processing online donations is seamless with Flipcause, and very easy for donors to use. Planning and organizing fundraising campaigns and attended events is very easy, and everything is tracked automatically (i.e. donations, participants, etc.) Professional design (or re-design) of your website is included, and has made a huge impact on our online impression. The fact that all of this is billed at one flat rate, with no add-ons ever, makes it very easy to budget for. Pros I love the professional re-design of our website that was included with the services. We still get complements! Their designers did a great job, and also implemented the changes we wanted. Now we can update it ourselves, or submit changes to them to be handled by the pros. AND our campaigns and events can easily be integrated into the site. Cons None, really. There is a bit of a learning curve to the "Campaign" features, but the support is excellent, and the system is very well-designed. 12-months in, and the team is all very comfortable with it. A giant improvement over doing everything manually on Google sheets. I can easily see who is donating, how much, and when. Cons Some aspects are non-intuitive and cumbersome. I don't always quickly find what I am looking for if I am doing anything beyond routine activities. January 3, 2022 5.0 Our donors seem to like Flipcause and if there is an issue it gets cleared up immediately. Fast response time. Great customer service. Reasonable rates. Dependable. Not breakdowns in service. Pros Flipcause folks have been wonderful to work with. Fast response time and always following up. At one time they also sent us a device to use to make selling our book easier. We didn't have this software. I think the fact that our donors receive an instant Flipcause thank you is very good. Even though we send each donor our own STC Thank you letter. Cons I have zero negative comments about Flipcause after using it for a number of years. We are able to use Flipcause for all of our financial backend needs. Campaigns can be tailored to use peer to peer fundraising, event ticket sales, merchandise sales and volunteer management. The platform is also donor friendly and gives the donor the option to cover all fees so that more funds come to us. They will also design individual campaigns for us - this is HUGE for a small staff of two. Cons Like with anything new the hardest part is simply learning the basics! August 10, 2022 5.0 We needed a website, a database, and a way to receive gifts/donations online. Flipcause has provided all of that along with excellent and timely customer service. Pros The database capabilities are wonderful...ease of import and ease of navigation through the system. Cons The only issue has been transferring donated funds to a bank account. It's an issue because our organization has a fiscal sponsor rather than a traditional checking account. Our Flipcause team is working with our fiscal sponsor for an efficient solution. The entire Flipcause team is becoming educated about fiscal sponsors and the difference in that and checking accounts. Much less expensive than using separate tools. Fabulous support and service! Cons Still in development and so sometimes the campaign tools don't have the degree of flexibility to do very specific tasks, eg.: In-kind donations without payment processing (I did a work-around in Volunteer); Pay-at-the-door option for event registration. With the exception of some difficulty getting approval for funds transfer, the adoption of the platform is pretty seamless. The customer support is superb. All questions or problems are handled quickly and professionally. Pros I like the simplicity and "look" of a Flipcause campaign page. Although we haven't yet deployed a campaign, the sample pages are exactly what we will do. Cons I have created some unpublished campaigns. The Publish button is intimidating :) Reason for choosing Flipcause Basically, both platforms have the functionality we were looking for, but as an organization, we didn't feel we would ever grow into all of the Classy features. The web site is super simple to create with drag and drop elements. Customer service is top notch and the company is constantly finding ways to make a great product even better! Cons Ummmm... they just updated some functionality so this may be out of date (I haven't gone in to see the new dashboard) but it would be super duper to save graphic elements in the platform so you can build a gallery of photos and design elements instead of always having to upload them.
