However, with two office locations and several remote-based employees, paper reports and emailed approvals were impractical and time consuming. When we made the decision to look for a cloud-based solutions we were impressed with ExpenseBot's ease of use and flexibility to integration with QuickBooks. Our employees who are on the road all the time like using the mobile app for recording receipts in the field and not having to worry about keeping them until they get back to the office to file for reimbursement. Those add up over time, but ExpenseBot provides multiple ways to avoid this! My favorite: upload an image of a receipt from your phone the minute you make a purchase. Shortly thereafter, you'll receive a notification from ExpenseBot saying they matched the receipt with a charge to your credit card, and imported the line item to your expense report for you. Pros Simple and effective UI. Awesome functionality. Cons If I sign out before a receipt finishing loading, the app can lose the image altogether. If you've already tossed the receipt in the garbage thinking it loaded, this is a slight bummer. Review Source CP Colin P. Gmail receipt scanning, mileage tracking, and Sage 50 integration all in one place all worked so easily. Pros I run a small construction company and I'm basically never at a desk so managing expenses is a nightmare. ExpenseBot changed that because now I snap a photo of a receipt at the store when I make the purchase. It also grabs everything from my Gmail automatically with the receipt scanner, logs my mileage, and maps it all to my Sage 50 Canada GL codes. My accountant gets a clean report he can import straight into the books. No more paper receitps that I used to collect and drive to the bookkeeper. All I had to do was sign in with our google workspace accounts to set it up. We use it everytime we make a purcahse and no longer spend time hunting through glove boxes looking for receipts. Honestly couldn't imagine going back. Cons So far I haven't had any cause to complain but I did ask for a feature that would allow us to make a mileage trip "roundtrip" so that we didn't have to add 2 trips each time. Customer support added that feature for me so I'm pretty happy.
