I like that I can grow with it, starting out with the free version, then by the time I had to start paying I had some income so it didn't feel like as much of a stretch. Pros Mailerlite is way less expensive than other ESPs I've looked at but seems to provide the same service. Customer service is also fantastic and they're always able to fix my issues. Cons Sometimes I find it difficult to find specific numbers and analytics I'm interested in. I believe there are ways to get there but that aspect is not very easy for me to navigate. I’ve been able to do everything I need and not break the bank doing it. No complaints! Pros I like that it's easy to use. I like its drag-and-drop templates, and ability to schedule newsletters in advance. Cons I'd like to be able to schedule at quirky times like 11:11am, or 2:22pm. At the moment, you can only schedule for every 15th within the hour (example: 11:00, 11:15, 11:30, or 11:45). Also, I wish that there was a MailerLite app, to make it easier to upload images from my phone. Lastly, I wish I could integrate it with my Facebook page without having to have a certain number of followers. I wish you could track the origin of clicks to a landing page - that would be fabulous. Instead, I used Milkshake for that. I even paid a dev to configure Mautic for me, but after figuring out the time it would take to overcome all its technical difficulties and the expenses with the email server, I ended up choosing to continue on mailerlite, which I already use years ago. Cons The only cons I've seen so far was with the "mlsend" email server that mailerlite uses, which is blocked by my server (locaweb.com.br) and that caused me some difficulty. However, the support responds very quickly and has experienced professionals ready to help. Pros I have a sense of safety using it. This is because of how it manages my contacts, how it stops me from sending out an email without checking! Reliability. And also having a warm human interface with your team has been a big bonus. I know that's not about the software, but for me, the software wouldn't be any good without their support! Cons I'm finding it difficult to add smaller photos and videos with writing around them, rather than taking up a whole section, like on a blog. This might be that I still need to practice? Pros I like how ML is constantly adding new features that are actually useful. The interface is beautiful to use. It can take a while to access support at times, but once you're throguh to them, they are unfailingly quick and competent in sorting problems. It was very easy to learn and very intuitive. I didn't even have to read their help articles for most of it because it was so simple. Also, love how easy it is to set up segments and groups. My old platform did not even have this option. I can see how this will help me to better target my audience with campaigns and automations. However, the team at MailerLite is easy to contact and always willing to help! They've actually started a new automation for me when the steps didn't make sense, so not only do they fix things, but then they help you understand how to do it yourself. So many companies just send you a video to watch. Sometimes I don't have time for that, I just need things fixed! MailerLite is AMAZING about helping and even explaining things several times it doesn't make sense. I've been using them for over a year now and I can honestly say I haven't met one single person who didn't go above and beyond to help! Pros I love the automation, setting up emails, integrating forms...it's all very easy! Cons The only thing that frustrates me is bouncing back and forth from the chat window to the automation sequences and emails. I wish the chat window could be open while I'm editing a workflow. You can also create landing pages and complete websites. It's the best email service I have ever used and I've used many. Pros It's so easy to set up and connect with my website. It just keeps working well and I've never had a problem with deliverability. In fact, the deliverability is higher than other services. Support is excellent. I recently had questions about one of the Mailerlite functions. A support named \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] went out of his way to make sure I got the service I needed. And he was very polite and friendly. February 13, 2024 5.0 Pros My business is very small - it's just me. I work as a service provider in the equine industry. And I have no prior training in anything to do with email marketing or such. In spite of that, MailerLite has allowed me to build a well-functioning little email marketing system. This makes it easy to send professional looking emails to my customers. Also, they have a very generous free 'first step'. This makes it possible to keep costs down - absolutely essential when you are just starting out with this in a small company. It's so easy to get trapped in a system which 'overprovides' at a high cost. Another bonus is that the integration with my WordPress websites was smooth. Their customer service is friendly, helpful and understands that even 'stupid' little problems can be big issues for their customers. I sincerely hope that I can continue to use MailerLite - even when my business grows to higher levels. Cons There's not much to dislike about MailerLite. Of course, any new program or application will have a little learning curve. Up till now, I have managed to figure things out without too many problems. They just updated their landing page builder which has been a huge step up and I'll continue to recommend this to all of my clients, who haven't had a single complaint yet! Pros MailerLite has been the underdog and they're really listening to customer needs and developing things that people want and need without going overboard. The interface is clean and simple, landing pages, opt-ins, and automations do the job. The commerce connection has been flawless with Wordpress. What I really like about MailerLite is their deliverability rate and vetting process. They really do check accounts being signed up, which keeps their rates high and avoiding the promotion tab. Cons It's not popular among automation connections - I have to go through Zapier, and also there's no real tagging. Pros MailerLite has beautiful looking emails, the design options make the emails look really nice, like they come from a program that must cost money, but the great thing is they have a robust free program. Cons It can be difficult to figure out how to set up the campaigns. And there are less people who put out tutorials, so it can take some digging to find a YouTube video that explains the exact thing you are trying to accomplish.
