MailLite is meeting those expectations so far. Pros I had good support in setting up the integration with Wordpress. The price is right for me (Value) allow a slow ramp up. I like the options available for creating newsletters. It was easy to use. I do not have many subscribers yet, but the reports appear to have enough information for my needs. I anticipate using it to build my reader members and in future book launch campaigns. Cons The integration with Wordpress was not straightforward. However, I think the problem ultimately was with my ISP, and once I found the support info, it went smoothly. SO I need to go off line using Visual Studio Code instead. Then I copy the HTML back into the email template. February 5, 2025 3.0 I had a very positive experience during the first years with classic MailerLite. However, due to the switch to the new MailerLite, I have been left with a really unpleasant aftertaste and would not recommend it so quickly anymore. Pros I have been a satisfied customer of MailerLite for many years. MailerLite offers a great price-quality ratio. It provides sufficient marketing automation functionalities, an unlimited number of emails to send for a fixed low price, and the dashboard works quite intuitively. It's straightforward, and I have never had a reason to switch. Cons MailerLite has two programs: the classic and the new. I was a customer of the classic version and found the speed of the program insufficient. I often had to wait seconds while creating campaigns, which bothered me. I wanted to upgrade to the new MailerLite, but that wasn’t possible. I had paid a year in advance and would lose that money if I upgraded. Apparently, these two versions are not linked to each other. So you don’t get a refund if you want to upgrade, which I think is a significant disadvantage. In the end, I was able to upgrade at the end of the year, but within 2 months, my account was suspended. There was no explanation for why my account was suspended. I also lost the money for the remaining month. I was glad that I hadn’t paid for another year in advance. As a result, I was forced to look for another provider. I learned never to take a yearly subscription again, thanks to MailerLite. June 17, 2025 1.0 I chose Mailerlite to automate my mailing campaign. After spending 2 days creating and setting up my campaigns and automations : Mailerlite suspended my account and is going to "terminate it" because it seems that I violate their term of use. After checking that everything on my end was indeed complying with their policies and with GDPR : I emailed them inquiring for explanations and proving that I complied. A "Vinzor" from their compliance team answered to me with one empty sentence, not explaining how or why they have decided to suspend my account. Still inquiring and waiting for an explanation from them. Hope this review will help warn people : abusive and unprofessionnal compliance team. Even though I haven’t used it intensively in recent years, every time I came back to it, I found the platform straightforward and powerful. The recent experience I had with customer support, helping me regain access to my account, was outstanding and confirmed that the service is trustworthy and professional. Pros The platform is very intuitive and easy to use, even for someone who doesn’t send campaigns every day. I also really appreciate the value for money and the excellent customer support. The team is quick, kind, and always ready to help. Cons I sometimes find that when I don’t use the account for a long time, it can be a bit confusing to recover access or remember all the settings.
