Brand Designer Design Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Email Marketing Platform" December 14, 2024 3.0 I don't find their templates very exciting, but if you have design skills you can use them as a base to design your own. The drag and drop builder acts like most, so designing can be achieved in no time at all. Pros Mailierlite has been my go to marketing tool for a few years now because the set up is extremely easy to set up and if you have a small email list under a 1000 most of the platform options are free to use. Cons This company used to offer a robust customer service support along with various templates. Now as the years go on so many of the options that were great are now gone. If you want customer service you have to be paying customers and all the templates are for paid customers except a few left for free customers. The setup was straightforward, using the platform is easy and the reporting is thorough. Plus, the emails look great and had good delivery rates. Overall I'm very happy. Pros It's really user-friendly. I had no trouble setting it up, loading a list, designing an email and sending it. It is also well priced for the product you get. Author Writing and Editing Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Great website, but you will need a personal domain" June 18, 2025 4.0 I started using it for two different author pen names. My first experience was like AHHHH what do I do? I am soooo lost. But it didn't take but a few minutes to figure out what I was doing wrong and to realize that my confusion was user error, not the website. Then, when I got really good at it, I started using it to do PA work for other authors to handle their Newsletters on their accounts(still do this now) and I love how fun it is to play with new design ideas. Pros I loved how much of it was able to be modded so that my emails could be totally unique. Once I figured out how to use it, I was able to create so many different styles in templates, and it was really fun and user friendly. Cons When the DMARC thing hit, I was unable to keep my account. I do not have the extra money to pay for a website at this time, and I didn't know how to get around that. My friend has a couple domain names and she let me borrow one, but it rejected when we tried to get it approved. As long as you have your own domain name though, it's an amazing place to do business. I was having issues with MailChimp not sending emails to everyone on my list. I had a terrible experience with an important blast that was only 25% successful so I vowed never to be caught in that trap again. Pros I like the simplicity and the AI text creator help that is integrated into the editor. The drag and drop is simple. Cons So far my only issue is integrating it into my CRM Planning Center. We are in the process of converting from MailChimp to MailerLite and I hope to have the integration through API Key done very soon. December 16, 2024 5.0 The drag-and-drop editor, I can easily create beautiful emails by dragging and dropping elements without needing to know any code. this has helped me a lot as I can't code. Pros I like that its easy to use. MailerLite has a simple, user-friendly interface, making it easy even when I'm just starting to create and send emails. Secondly its affordable, It offers a free plan with many features, and the paid plans are reasonably priced. Lastly the drag-and-drop editor. I can easily create beautiful emails by dragging and dropping elements without needing to know any code. September 28, 2025 5.0 I migrated from ConvertKit and everything was very smooth. Support (both AI and human) answered all of my questions along the way. This was probably the easiest email migration I've done. Pros Rich feature set for automating marketing emails. User interface easy to navigate and clear. Documentation is very thorough. Their AI support bot is genuinely helpful and informative. Far better than others I've seen. For all of that, price is very reasonable especially for people with small lists. Cons It is not easy to customize the spacing between paragraphs in emails. THIS is my ONLY complaint with MailerLite. And it is a small thing. (Plus there is a workaround using CSS but they don't document how.) ConvertKit's announced price increase was a good trigger. Drag & drop, easy to edit, easy to create. - Free websites and landing pages that you can EASILY create from scratch or from templates - BEST OF ALL - they have amazing support from people who are cheerful, quick to answer, and clear in their descriptions. Not sure what else to say, fully recommend. Pros Great UX and UI — super clear, no noise, easy to get around, everything is where it should be. Great integration with CloudFlare and Zapier etc. Customer service was awesome and easy to move from AI bot to a human! Cons Honestly nothing yet, I've only just joined. I did get a bit confused on the 'default email' area as it makes it seem like you can ONLY send as one email address, customer service helped me with this though. I had emails randomly hard bouncing to iCloud addresses. I googled the issue and it seems a lot of others are experiencing the same thing with Mailerlite. Support would tell me that they had fixed the issue only for it to happen over and over again. The live chat or email support will never give any details, just that the "issue is now resolved". So frustrating. Using Mailerlite will damage your sending reputation. Pros The design of the platform is pretty good. The editor works well. Cons Deliverability issues and customer support are not good.
