Pros Easy to download organisation's existing asset data, set up a condition survey and get inspectors to update it on ipads. Taking photos linked to the assets was a big plus. Overall it was easy to set up, deploy and use. Cons Nothing at all except would be good to be able to drill down a hierarchy more easily. Pros The ease of use and ease of customization, make this a desirable app to built, test, and implement powerful user friendly data collection and reporting tools. Cons There are some limitations in the basic customization palette, but with the implementation of the JavaScript in the advanced settings you can take the app much further. I am very happy with the ease-of-use of the app, data validation capabilities, the rich data deliverables that I can obtain using Fulcrum, and the streamlining of our field data collection procedures. Pros Fulcrum allows a user to leverage a lot of data from a smartphone/tablet and to standardize the data collection procedure. In my case, using Fulcrum has streamlined data entry and significantly improved data quality. Cons I would like to have more functionality for offline use. Because it's a cloud-based service there are limitations to using it in areas where there is no cellular coverage. Review Source EB Elizabeth B. This app made my job very easy. Click a button, add an address, set location and save. Pros This was my 2nd time using Fulcrum for survey or census projects and will use again when needed. The setup was very easy and I love the map layer function. The options to filter and sort are amazing too. If you are looking in to Fulcrum, I would recommend using it. Cons The only down side to Fulcrum was it would not open with Internet Explorer. It could have been restrictions from the tribe I work though. Pros Fulcrum is easy to set up, customize and use and has made my job easier, better organized and fun! We just got started and already use it for a range of projects from Home of the Month to vacant building registration. Color coded maps are the best way to show commission and board members how things are going in our city. You are able to capture detailed information and take plenty of photos. Cons Not able to tailor once set up (I was not involved with the set up of the software, however).
