Pros: Ease of billing and calendar system. Trust account and payments are easy to manage. Integrates with my VOIP phone system.

Cons: Lack of means to split billing on a single case. New mobile app is not user friendly. We do not use the document creation system because it was not user friendly

Most of the features are so intuitive that you don't need to use the fantastic training guides.

Pros: The ability to keep track of all aspects of a case, schedule and set up repetitive items and share what you want with key team members , with piece of mind about security.

Cons: No option for estate management; organizing assets and insurance coverage, beneficiary distributions, debt management, etc.

Pros: MyCase does it all time tracking, expense tracking, invoicing, communication, to-dos, etc. It has everything. The billing is especially great, as it clearly shows trust payments and balances owed all in one place. The client portal is a big time saver, as well.

Cons: I would love it if MyCase was more customizable. There are many features that we don't use, need, or want, that I can't hide or remove.

Love this program! It could use a few more features, but it is so intuitive and helpful.

Pros: I can access my files, calendar, documents and billing from anywhere. This really helped when I had to travel overseas and still had to keep an eye on things at the office. I love not having to carry heavy files with me when I go to court, and being able to pull up documents during trial or court.

Cons: Would like to be able to run reports of certain items, like trial dates. Would like to be able to list a projected budget for a case and be able to see where we are with respect to the budget. Would like to be able to add pdf's to the invoices and email the whole thing as a package to the client.

Overall: Simplification. One program instead of two or three.

Great software that helps me stay on top of my cases, calendar and billing. Would not do without it

Pros: I like the fact that it does not give me more than I need to run my practice. I have used case management software from other companies that included a lot of things I did not need. It was confusing. I chose MyCase because it has just what I need to keep track of my cases, my time and my calendar and allow me to do my billing quickly and easily.

Cons: I would like to be able to see my time entries without having to print a bill. I often look at my time entries to confirm work was performed and I have to create an invoice to see it (even if I don't save the invoice I still have to go through the same procedure)

Overall: It helps me stay organized and productive each day. I am able to keep track of my time and bill easily from my entries.

Pros: Global search feature - find anything fast. Easy to upload documents. MyCase is constantly upgrading and adding beneficial features.

Cons: Would like a connection to email without using a portal. We do not use the portal for client contact.

Overall: Daily use - this is our central system for all information on any case. Efficient calendaring, connectivity to all cases, people, and tasks.

Easy to use. Meets my needs and did not take long to learn how to use.

Pros: It's ease of use and on-line help. It is quick in setting up new cases and contacts. I do hope they add another location for additional emails without setting up an entirely new contact.

Cons: My comment of a "3" regarding the features/functionality are totally focused on the billing/reporting aspects. The limited ability to generate the information necessary for our firm is frustrating. I know they are always working to improve and I have given them many suggestions as well as my offer to assist and brain storm with them in any way possible. I know they will eventually get there - just takes time.

Overall: Everything in one place in one program and the ability to have clients review their information and documentation in one place.

Pros: It's so user friendly especially for my clients! It's so great to have everything in one place...my calendar, documents, tasks, etc. Makes it easy to control my business!

Cons: The app used to be great but with a recent upgrade, it's hard to refresh and use. I really can't stand the app.

Pros: I appreciate how easy it is to bill, invoice, and communicate for each case. The payment platforms also make using the software much easier.

Cons: With this being a newer software, sometimes intuitive features are missing and take some time to be developed.

Overall: Ease of use, value for the money, and good customer service.

Pros: I love the timekeeper, the ability to start several timers at once, and the ease with which you can enter narratives for each time entry. Making invoices is super easy as well, and you can even (I just learned this) add your firm's logo to your invoices. The invoices look very professional, and are easy to edit and amend as needed. There is a "no charge" function for time entries you decide to write off for clients. You can also share invoices via the client portal if you'd like. I am just exploring some of the other features of MyCase, such as the task list, the calendar, and using MyCase to keep track of marketing and contacts.

Cons: I'd like to be able to view detailed time entries with narratives before creating an invoice. Maybe this exists? Right now, I create an invoice, print it out, decide what changes I want to make, then go back into the invoice and edit it.

Easy to use experience allows all members our law firm to work easily together.

Pros: Giving our clients easy access to their case online allows our office to work efficiently and effectively.

Cons: I hope that MyCase opens it APIs to allow better connectivity with other services and allow to back up documents online with other services.

Pros: CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Cons: That I do not get notifications when a client post under their calendar event because I am not a party or the attorney attending. Would rather either I get the notification or they are unable to message there.

Pros: Keeps me up to date on my billing. With the mobile app I rarely forget to bill that phone call I made while waiting for the bank to open.

Cons: It could have healthier analytics. I do a fair amount of pro bono work and there are some clients for which I do paid work for one aspect of their case and do the other part of the case pro bono. There is no easy way to calculate the total non-billable hours spent on a client over a course of time.

Overall: Billing ease and a secure portal to exchange client documents electronically. It also acts as a remote backup for all my client files

Pros: ability to share information with clients especially documents and calendar events. Its easy to learn.

Cons: apparently the mobile app I cannot edit client information such as change an email or phone number. I have to do it on the desktop. Also the mobile app looks good but its still clunky to navigate. example on the recent activity its blue like a hyperlink but I cant' click on it and go to that note or task.

MyCase has allowed remote assistants as well as attorneys to support me.

Pros: I use the billing function the most. My assistants work with calendar and bookkeeping parts of the software.

Cons: The interface takes a little getting used to. Thankfully my staff and I can get help directly from MyCase.

Pros: The best thing about the program is having access to every file and every document at a moments notice. We are a fast paced criminal defense office and I don't have a lot of time to be constantly going to the file room to pull files every time a client calls or comes in. I can access it all right from my computer. What's especially nice is even after a file is closed a client may call and ask something about their case and within seconds I can tell them what they need to know without having to go to storage and call them back a few days later.

Cons: For our office the calendar feature is not very helpful. It doesn't function how we would like for it to so I have to post court dates to 2 different calendars but because of that it does always give us a back up for verification of court dates.

Pros: My favorite thing about the MyCase software is how integrated all the features are. The ability to link contacts and staff to cases and add messages, tasks, workflows, and other case-linked items is extremely helpful and makes my work more efficient.

Cons: It can be frustrating when they move or update a feature and it becomes less useful or drastically changes how we want to do something. I wish that more lists and reports were sortable by different categories, including custom fields.

MyCase is a very useful and innovative product. The customer support team is excellent. 5 stars!

Pros: MyCase is an extremely flexible platform that is easy to use. It is truly a tech asset with a value only limited by the imagination of the user. Thanks to its features, our firm has been able to design a field format that allows us to input case information, merge documents, calendar events, and generate invoices in a manner that is tailored to our practice.

Cons: Data backups in csv format are easily generated but can be difficult to sort through. I have always been able to contact the support team with any issues and they have been very helpful with any issues that have come up along the way.

Pros: My Clients ( ... and me) have 24-7 digital, global access to their case information. Wow! MYCASE streamlines billing and invoice collection saving me countless work hours. And I don't have to mail hard-copy documents since clients can download and print them. Clients love it!

Cons: Do we really have to spend 10 minutes choosing buses, cars and street signs to verify we are not robots before sending this survey? if I quit MYCASE this will be the reason. Not really, but its extremely aggravating!

Overall: P.S. I will not do this again if I have to choose buses, cars and street signs to prove I'm not a ROBOT!

Cons: The mobile app on my iphone is sometimes difficult to pull up documents and messages. It works fine on my ipad. And, my clients have not expressed any difficulties using the mobile app.

Overall: I have recommended this software to two colleagues who have already signed on and are users of MyCase. Benefits include: enhanced organization of all client files, documents, billing and invoicing, time tracking, communicating with clients. Too many to list. I am completely happy with MyCase as my Case Management Software.

Pros: The MyCase software is easy to use and easy to integrate into an existing law practice. The software has all the features of any other major practice management suite, and there is continual improvement of existing features while new features are being developed and released at regular intervals. The support team is very responsive to questions and feature requests, and the Knowledge Base makes it easy to learn the functions of the software. The new mobile app is vastly improved as well. In my opinion, MyCase represents the best overall value out of any other practice management suite I've considered.

Cons: I would like to see the MyCase mobile app adopt more of the features & functions of the website, making it easier to perform management tasks "on the go" through your phone. Also, I would like to see MyCase provide more integrations with other software, such as RocketMatter and Clio already do, though MyCase does presently integrate with Google Apps/G Suite, Quickbooks, and Outlook.

Pros: The calendar, it helps us keep on top of things. We can access the website from our phones as well.

Cons: Not being able to move from billing (invoices to the contacts screen) without needing to go back into billing. In other words not being able to bounce back and forth.

Pros: That I can access the the web site from anywhere even with my phone. It is very simple to send out the invoices..

Cons: I would like the mobile program to include the feature showing how many hours I have worked each day.

Overall: Ease of use. Available 24 hours a day whether I am at the office, at home or on the road. Having 24 access has allowed me to capture much more of my time.

Absolutely essential to maintain my solo practice. I'd be lost without it.

Pros: I can do just about anything I need to do to keep organized in my practice and collect from my clients.

Cons: I use my gmail as my primary email account which I have linked to my MyCase. But not every email is case related. It takes me forever sometimes to go through and individually delete all the non-case-related emails. It would be nice to have a delete and resolve button on the reconciliation box.

Overall: helps me with every aspect of my practice

Comments: Customer service has been outstanding. Everyone that I have spoken to has been friendly and willing to take over my computer. Very helpful. Cody Nielson, one of the senior people has been especially helpful when I asked about the security of putting in bank information. The system allows you to reconcile bank statements, but the attorney that I work for is reluctant to do that until we are using the system for a month or two. The law firm's IT person also recommended MyCase. The cost is extremely reasonable and an attorney can get a discount by being a member of the ABA.

Pros: MyCase is an extremely user-friendly time and billing software. The tutorials have been very helpful. I needed to find something that an attorney could do with great ease. I also needed to be able to deal with retainers and trust accounts. You have the ability of allowing the clients to log into a secured client portal and share documents, as well as forwarding billing information. MyCase gives you the ability to create deadlines in calendar. All the deadlines from the calendar appear on the right side of the screen when you log in which is very convenient. Working with invoicing was much easier than I thought too.

Cons: I don't like the constant updates if a client logs into the Client Portal or if an update was made to the case or contact.

Overall, a great product. Well thought out, easy to use.

Pros: I like that they are continually adding/improving based on client feedback. Workflows are a huge time saver. I like the ease of sharing things with clients and opposing counsel securely.

Cons: I would very much like to be able to mark documents as read in small batches, say just those pertaining to a certain case, or just those in a current view. There are times when I have a lot of documents to mark as read, but many of them are things that I have already read and dealt with in hard copy, and they are being uploaded for the client. Having to click into each one to mark it as read consumes a lot of time.

Overall: Streamlines case management, makes communication with clients easier, makes exchange of documents (especially sensitive or voluminous ones) simple and secure.

Pros: The access to the client portal is hands down the best feature. My clients love the ability to ask me questions through chat and pay their invoices online. The portal also allows for clear communication to make sure that attorney and client are always on the same page. I also love the Workflow feature. This allows me to keep track of the routine tasks in my cases to make sure that nothing is left behind.

Cons: I would like to see a few updates to the billing system in MyCase. I still have clients that choose not to use the portal. Since they do not have the ability to view all their invoices and payments, it would be nice to have one invoice that includes all time entries, expenses, and payments, instead of having to create a new invoice each time I need to bill for new time entry or expense.

I would also like the ability to accept credit card/debit cards in office during the first consultation without having to create a case matter, a contact person, and an invoice.

Can't live without it!

Pros: Can't say just one - 2 things I love - First the timekeeping - which is invaluable. Been practicing law for more than 25 years so I have tried many methods. This is the best yet. Also, I like that I can open a case for each matter and create invoices for each matter. This helps when you have one client that has multiple matters and wants each billed individually.

Cons: Don't like the word processing tool. I work outside of that in OneNote. Wish it was more like SharePoint within the program. I use the product mostly for time and invoices . Wish it was the whole package.

Overall: Timekeeping and invoicing.

Pros: Mycase provides a clean and easy platform to record and organize case information. Any case file is ready to review at the click of a button, whether to prep before court or for when a client calls. Clients probably think I personally remember all of their case details. But it is really because I pull up mycase and am looking at their file when they call, whether in the office or out of the office and on my iphone.

Clients can view their case status without calling me. Clients can upload documents and message information. It is like having a secretary in the cloud that organizes all my client files and keeps clients up to date.

Cons: The mobile app in the past was static but full of information and easy to use, and extremely reliable. The new mobile app has way more functions, with the hope of eventually have high utility but is still in the growing stage. Can't wait until I can have a virtual office on my iphone. Until, I will continue to depend on the extremely reliable mycase desktop service.

Overall: Efficient law practice. Very organized. Portal for clients to communicate, see updates, and to upload documents.

Generally excellent. Sometimes takes a while to load pages.

Pros: It does a great job of saving my time!

Cons: TOO MUCH EMPHASIS ON THE PORTAL! Please understand that there are a lot of us whose clients won't be communicating through email. I represent a large number of indigent clients - they don't use the internet at all. I think before you add a feature, you should ensure that the feature will function OUTSIDE of the portal. I sometimes feel that I'm only getting partial use of the product, since some features are clearly designed around the portal.

Also, would be easier if the search function searched more than basic info. It would be nice to search for any term.

Overall: Time saving, easier billing

MyCase is very functional and user-friendly. They are responsive when I make inquiries.

Pros: I like that I can use the iPad app when I am in court, and at home or on the go. I like that I ca keep track of my daily billing and the program then will allow me to see quickly that I have forgotten to log billable time for the day.

Cons: I do not like the change that eliminated my ability to see my month at a glance calendar with references so that I can schedule quickly when asked by a judge in court. The current "*" reference is cumbersome - I have to literally look at each and every day separately to be able to answer a judge asking what is a good date for my return to court. He/She is NOT going to wait for me to check each and every date on a daily calendar.

Pros: The software is the fastest one on the market - no waiting for a page to come up. I have used many different ones as tests - for 2-3 months each. There are some excellent features such as workflows, secure communication with client, intuitive data collection and much more.

Cons: As I have mentioned to them in the past - the bill generated for printing is static - which means there is little control over it. You get what you get. You can download the data and create your own - but it would be better to be able to control the look of the bill from the software.

Overall: No need for staff. This software does it all....... Except answer the phones and sweep the office.

Could not work as a lawyer without it.

Pros: Cloud based. Any computer , laptop or my phone. The online client billing/payment works great. I love getting paid when I out of the office.

Cons: I'd like to be able to scan directly into mycase. The document upload works great but I would like to be able to go from scanner to mycase without a stop in between.

Overall: I am more organized and can handle more cases. I get paid faster and easier.

I have been using MyCase since 2015. It was easy for myself and clients to learn and use.

Pros: I like that my clients can use it to upload and download documents. I like how easy it is to create invoices, and my clients like that they can pay those invoices online. I appreciate that new functionality is frequently added.

Cons: I occasionally run into little issues where the software seems to need more steps to do something that I feel it should take, but it is not clear if that is a user problem or a software problem. I cannot think of something that I actively would list as a con.

Overall: A simple way to provide communication and exchange of documents with my clients, an easy way to create invoices that clients can pay online by check or credit card. An app that lets me access the files when I am out of the office.

Pros: It is easy to use. The cost and its features make it attractive for solo practicioners. The invoicing is useful as well. I like the client access.

Cons: I'm having trouble with flat fee cases where I want to show expenses & costs plus time only. It can be done but it could be more efficient.

Pros: The people are great at customer service, I have had great experiences with Leslie Skelly, Drew, and Cat Allday. I like the Reports function and would like to see more Report options. I also like bulk exporting invoices.

Cons: The CMS functionality is great. I would suggest pinning the client to the top of the matter contacts, rather than having them appear at random in a long list. I would also suggest removing the 'Total' column from the Billing -> Account Activity section in the far right-hand column, or allowing the company to reset these figures annually. Seeing such a large 'Total' figure makes my boss angry since it accumulates over the lifetime of using MyCase and it is not helpful. Resetting the 'Total' every year would make it more useful.

While the websites department is a completely different division of Mycase, I found the websites to be expensive for the services received. In other words, I would like to have better access to editing the posts and the ability to delete another user's post. (For example, we have old employees who created posts, but since they are no longer with the firm, and we do not have the logins, there is allegedly no way to delete that former employee's posts.) Each firm should be given one master user account with full privileges to allow editing all posts. Also, we should be given access to the Google Analytics tracking, since MyCase controls the data and does not share it with the client/firm. It is terrible trying to track how many monthly users we have, and we are not able to use several APIs out there due to the non-sharing protocol where we do not know the UA code and have no access whatsoever to user traffic statistics.

I've used MyCase since 2015. Overall, it's great. Clients love it.

Pros: That clients can see their files and have access to their documents. Also, it notifies clients of court settings. That's HUGE for me, as a criminal defense attorney. Courts also hold me in high regard as a lawyer who is on top of her docket... and on top of her clients.

Cons: Billing. Billing/accounting needs a lot of work. I would like to be able to use my own merchant for credit card processing and still be able to break down how clients paid. Right now, unless I use MyCase for payments, it will not break it down for me.

Overall: I can prove to the courts that I informed my client on the status of their case. I love that MyCase tells me any activity of a contact who is attached to a case file.

Pros: User friendly and it helps the client feel like they are up to date with what is happening with their case

Cons: I would like an easier way to sync documents then having to put them in the One Drive and then copy and paste them to My Case. It's a two step process and it slows our work production down

Pros: The laptop program works really well. My clients love it. It is easy to communicate with my clients and for my clients to upload documents.

Cons: MyCase is terrible on my iPad. I cannot view documents uploaded under recent activity. I need to go to the client and scroll through the documents because the documents are not in date order.

Pros: MyCase has a calendar system, time keeping, document management, client communication, billing and payments in one platform. That is what I like the most about MyCase. Everything our firm needs in one place.

Cons: The credit card processing fees are high. Other than that I have no complaints. MyCase is great about updating features and seeking user input.

Overall: The best benefit is that you only need one software for all of a law firms needs. MyCase has everything.

Great program. The couple times i had issues they resolved them within an hour.

Pros: Ease of use and how fast customer service responds to my inquiries. Also the iPhone app is wonderful and i use it several times per day.

Cons: The only this i can think of is that sometimes there is a syncing issue between my web-based mycase software and my iPhone app mycase. However, each time i had the issue (twice i think) i emailed them and they emailed me back a fix that worked within an hour.

Great set of features for the price. Clients find it very easy to use, as do I.

Pros: Intuitive, easy to use / multiple ways of accomplishing the same task: I am not technologically savvy, but MyCase makes everything easy. The staff is also U.S. based, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We have never had a circumstance where MyCase did not promptly help us figure out the solution!

Cons: Like all software, new features take time to be added, but the team is always willing to listen to suggestions and work them into the updates.

Pros: Easy to use, short learning curve, helpful training videos and excellent customer support. The billing is clean and easy to use. Collecting all client data and calendars is excellent way to keep anything from falling in the cracks. The new client payment options are great. The price is reasonable.

Cons: Not much I don't like about the program. As I review bills before sending the out, seems I get lost sometimes and wind up at the beginning of all invoices, rather than the batch I am working on.

Pros: The clients being able to log in to see documents, events, upload information, etc. Allows both myself and the attorney to look at the case file and know what documents, emails, events are there.

Cons: The mobile app is not great. The attorney in our office cannot see recent activity unless she specifically logs into a client account. She needs to be able to see recent activity in real time

Pros: It has transformed how and where we work. We have less overhead and more staff working remotely from home. It lets us see - real time- what is transpiring on the cases we have. Transforming MyCase for use in our specific field - Workers' Compensation - was easy.

Cons: We cannot use the new app. It needs serious work. It does not work with IOS/IphoneX and is absolutely useless to us. We were able to use the old app fine and are contemplating a change due to the new app.

It works perfectly for tracking my work.

Pros: I absolutely love that you can interact with your client daily - updating his/her file within seconds. It is convenient to have past cases, documents, invoices accessible at the touch of a key. I also think the report feature is a great feature. This site has made my job so much easier.

Cons: My only "gripes" per se would be that you cannot enter a reoccurring meeting in the calendar. Instead you have to do so individually even if every Wednesday at 9am you have the same meeting. I would love to see this feature implemented. I would also like to see the "closed cases" appointments remain on the calendar, even if they turn a different color to clarify instead of them being removed.

Overall: This software has allowed me to keep in constant contact with clients as well as better organization of files and time utilized in each. In addition it has allowed me to be prompt with billing and has give our clients a vast array of ways to pay for their services as well as interact with our office.

Pros: It's very helpful for organization, and maintaining a paperless office. With all the responsibilities of running a solo practice, I don't know how I'd organize my cases without MyCase. It's very helpful for keeping track of cash flow on a case. The app is also helpful.

Cons: They are still working on the accounting side. I think they should have an option to send a mass reminders for the overdue invoices. Maybe have an automatic reminder for when the payment is due, instead of going through every client individually. We have a lot of clients.

Pros: client communication portal. I love that our clients also have an app that they can look at their case at any time.

Cons: trust accounting has become a tad difficult because we transfer our full payment at the end of the month. I dont like that you have to apply a payment to a certain invoice.

Pros: It organizes my clients, tracks hours, prepares invoices and has a client portal for accepting payments. Comfortable and pleasant to use as possible and just as quick and reliable as desktop software. Customer support is available with no problems at all.

Cons: I tried syncing with Quickbooks and it didn't go so well, but that was mostly because of problems I had with QB online. I use QB desktop and had trouble switching to online and syncing with MyCase - I wish there was a way to sync with QB desktop.

Pros: Cost effective, adaptable, mostly easy to use. Additional fields can be added to any section (billing, documents, client, case, etc.), billing is easy and seamless. Email integration is a great benefit, I just wish you didn't have to manually resolve them. Probably not a problem if you have sufficient staff. However, it's great to have your email in the same place as the rest of your case information.

Cons: I've found creating and uploading documents to be difficult. The apps for phones/tablets are still being worked on and lack much of the functionality of the website.

MyCase is the most intuitive and easiest to navigate system I've tried out of many.

Pros: I like having everything in one place. Being able to access everything I need about my clients, opposing counsel, documents, billing, etc. makes it so I can follow up with my clients wherever I am. That's invaluable to me.

My clients can pay online, I can send invoicing reminders, and now I can add interest.

Calendaring is really a plus because when I enter it into MyCase it automatically sends to my clients and goes to outlook. One less thing for me to remember to do.

I need to do better with tagging, but clients can send me discovery documents, I can send them documents to review, we can see the changes between versions. I upload the final product, and my clients get their entire case file as it progresses, and have one location where they can view everything that's happened.

I also like that I can tell when a client has logged on, so if they haven't and I need them to respond, I can follow up. That eliminates the "lost in the ether" issues that crop up.

Cons: There's nothing I dislike, but there are always room for improvements. I'd love expanded searchability for documents and enhanced sorting. The trust accounting is a bit of a nightmare for me, so that can definitely be cleaned up.

More than anything, I'd like them to maybe partner with some people. I'd love to be able to scan something directly from my ScanSnap to MyCase, or even have a desktop app that I could save documents to that would automatically sync with MyCase.

Last, enhanced time entry would be a godsend. If I'm sending a message, it'd be nice if something popped up when I hit send to ask if I'd like to bill for it. Same for taking notes in the clients file.

Overall: Primarily, the ability to run my practice as a true solo, and to be able to work from anywhere and be as responsive as my clients need and expect me to be.

I love the look, ease of use and client accessibility.

Pros: I like the mobile accessibility of the software. Even when my office computer goes down I can access it from my tablet laptop or mobile device. Having the option of mobile platforms to choose from I can keep up with any documents I may have left behind and easily share with whomever I need to.

Cons: I would like to be able to organize the case documents by date of the document versus the date I uploaded it to the database for chronological consistency. Also, the search features aren't as precise as I would like but I expect that with use and updates that these features would be added in the future

Pros: Very easy to use; made specifically for use by attorneys. I have all my cases on there and we can download case documents, message each other in house and even save all my emails to clients even though we use outlook to email our clients. It is absolutely the easiest way to keep track of everything in our files. You can even use it for billing clients, keep your To Do list and download documents to each case.

Cons: The only thing that I don't like is the To Do list and how you can only print a 90 day view of it rather than the whole list.

Best practice management software on the market.

Pros: Calendar, tasks, reminders, client login, client app, document management, and cost. It's with me everywhere I go. And, it has never been down!

Overall: Saves me time and helps me stay on top of my client's cases. It also is invaluable to assist the client obtain documentation as they can upload into the file.

I've used other time management and billing programs. This is by far the easiest to use and set up.

Pros: Invoicing is easy. I'm usually done in an hour or less, I can send the invoices electronically, which saves on postage and gets me paid faster.

Cons: It integrates with Quickbooks, which I love, but I cannot use the balance forward feature when invoicing and have it track correctly in Quickbooks.

Pros: MyCase gives me a splendid overview of my practise and ongoing cases. It is intuitive, straightforward and very easy to use. As from the first login I was operational. Excellent helpdesk, which is very important.

Cons: I work in and from France, so would like to be able to apply European TVA standards, rates and sign but I am sure that that will come.

Overall: Organisation and overview. And invoices paid in time.

Pros: We love being able to share tasks, calendars, online payments, invoices, documents, and case details with our staff.

Cons: One thing that would help us out quite a bit is having the capability to search phone numbers, through the search box.

Pros: MyCase is intuitively simple to use yet is rich in features.

The support is A.mazing. We had a couple of queries and one needed MyCase to dial in to assist with an install on a new machine, they are attentive, professional and resolved our problems.

Whilst this is a US focused product it meets all of our needs in Australia. Per seat it is definitely great value for money.

There are regular software updates with improvements.

We have NOT experienced a "bug" in their software ... it works.

It is also fast despite us being across the Pacific Ocean.

We have no hesitation in recommending MyCase.

Overall: High productivity in managing Cases between multiple practitioners in our practice. Keeps all communication and content attached to a case for ease of future reference.

Pros: It's affordable and easy to use - calendaring hearings/appointments, uploading documents, creating work flows, sharing information with clients. And tracking hours and generating bills has become a breeze.

Cons: Some clients lose the link to log in & access their profile, or they are unable to access MyCase easily. If the clients used it as much as I did, it would be perfect.

Overall: Has streamlined my practice, made billing quick and easy, and has all of my needed information in one place. Also, being able to share documents and calendar events with clients means I am getting fewer phone calls for basic information.

I love MyCase.com! It's made my job so much easier! Once place to keep track of everything!

Pros: I like how easy it is to navigate and how simple and to the point it is. Its not complicated like other programs I've looked into.

Cons: not much I do not like about this product. However, staying amount every month is a huge plus for me given that I am a sole owner of my company and like to keep my costs low.

Pros: Program is user friendly. It's a lot easier to communicate with clients, invoice, and see that the client received the invoice. You can send reminders very easily, and notify the client of up coming court appearances.

Cons: If would be great if there was a way to print labels. All of the information is in the system, and pulling the clients data and goung to another system takes a lot of time.

Overall: It is easier to keep track of clients, billing, appointments and paperwork. It has a great feature of letting me know my clients read my communication.

Pros: You can write notes on each profile and keep documents uploaded with just the click of a mouse. The client contact information is easy to find and update on the daily.

Overall: Our firm is able to work competently with clients and other employees.

Pros: The software has a lot of features but tech support is amazingly patient so in no time I was able to streamline so many aspects of my solo practice. I am most impressed with the client portal, time keeping & invoicing (snap of a finger!), and the ability to create workflows for my various practice areas. I am so much more organized and save hours on administrative tasks like billing!

Cons: I wish the dashboard (main page) had a monthly calendar right on the page so that I could see my month at a glance as opposed to having to click the calendar link.

Overall: Time management, organization and effective client contact and management.

Simple to use, delivers a s promised, exactly what a small firm needs.

Comments: Emailing of documents is just getting where it should be. It is getting better as I tested the new beta product and it works terrifically.

Pros: MyCase is very intuitive and simple to use. The calendar and email integration is great and the display screens are clear and uncluttered.

Pros: The value MyCase adds to my practice is worth a lot more than the monthly fee for the service.; I think the pricing is great. Also, it is extremely easy to use.

Cons: The cost for credit card processing is more expensive than what I already have in place. I wish it were cheaper so that I could send invoices from MyCase.

Pros: Affordability is one of the best benefits of MyCase. MyCase offers simple month-to-month, no contract obligation pricing a month for each attorney and /month for each paralegal. Another great benefit MyCase offers is Lawyer App which is compatible with iPhone, iPad or Adroid. Accounting features are limited within MyCase but with the ability to integrate QuickBooks, accounting is a snap. Collaborate, create, customize utilizing Legal Practice Management Tool Kit is another great feature MyCase provides to its clients. The automation software provides task template and case flows for repetitive forms via intake which is beneficial for estate planning, probate, divorce, and bankruptcy law firms. MyCase is the least expensive case management software available for law firms and would benefit small firms. Also, MyCase has been adding new features through time. You'll enjoy the time billing, firm reports, online payments, Quickbook integration, document management and collaboration features. I recommend trying the 30-day trial for free and check it out!

Cons: MyCase is the least expensive for a reason and with price, there are limits to features. MyCase is not as robust as its competitors if your law firm is medium to large. MyCase caters to small firms. If you are a firm that bills on contingency, UTBMS or LEDES, MyCase may not be for you. Also, MyCase only integrates with QuickBooks whiles others integrate with Xero too.

Only great experiences thus far.

Pros: Speed. Fastest way to create invoices. I like all the features that are already in place with the software.

Cons: If you don't "save" your work, you lose all your changes. There should be an auto-save function every 3 minutes or so.

Pros: The email integration and improvements as to file organization are great. Clients love the user end, which allows me more communication with clients without having to actually communicate.

Cons: The accounting/billing side could still use a little work. Adding interest is a bit of a task, some automated features in that regard would be nice. Also, there needs to be some better reports for attorney productivity. Attorney bonuses are based on billables paid, and there is not a viable report for that.

Very happy with MyCase. It's easy to forme to use as well as to receive payments from clients.

Pros: The monthly rate for this service is great for all of its uses. Payments are deposited in my account pretty quickly and love that the clients can send money using MyCase.

Cons: I'd like for there be a way to have different cases associated with the same client for purposes of billing. It's a bit inconvient to have to send a separate invoice for each different matter I work on for the same client. Also, AmEx isn't accepted which forces me to use another point of sale system to receive AmEx cards. Lastly, it would be great to allow clients to be able to book appointments through MyCase.

MyCase has enabled us to be in court or out of the office more with access to our files

Pros: Ease of use and accessibility from virtually anywhere. I also like that everyone in the firm can see one another's calendars.

Cons: Billing can be a bit tricky. It's probably the least favorite part as far as invoicing goes. Also, I wish you could select multiple documents or the PDF's at once, instead of having to download them one by one. I also wish the calendar would show you new events added by other users in the firm instead of showing a notification that someone added something to your calendar and then having to search day by day for what was added.

I live everything except the lack of ability to run a client's credit card directly.

Pros: Mycase has set their program up for excellent organizational use. It is easy to go through and understand things from the start.

Cons: I found out unexpectedly during a client meeting that I could not run the clients credit card directly...i had to send the client an email requuesting payment. The client balked and walked. My fault for not researching the system totally but nonetheless very disappointing. I use Lawpay now for most initial transactions.

Overall: The sense of peace of mind knowing all my files and billing are organized and accessible.

Good for bookkeeping matters, No flexibility in creating case lists or accounts receivables

Pros: It is great with record keeping, easy to use, customer service is helpful but because the program is fixed (I can't run reports using only a few specific categories) customer service spends most of its time apologizing to me for the lack of ingenuity on the part of the creators.

Cons: When I run a case/client report I am unable to select specific categories to report. It will run a case list alphabetically by the last name, but for accounts receivable, it runs alphabetically by the first name. First name. After I run a case list report I have to export the file and then go through manually and delete the columns I don't want in the report. Time consuming and frustrating.

Comments: Glad I picked this program !

Pros: Easy to use and love the quick payments. The client contact is great, bills look professional. Very easy to use from remote locations.

Cons: Outlook add in gave me fits at first , but all is well. I think Office 365 was the issue. Nothing else negative, now that I have it down.

Pros: Has case management and billing, it is easy to use. Works well. Good customer support. They generally get back to you within 24 hours. Billing can be used on computer or on your iphone to enter time, which makes it easy for on the go entering.

Cons: The trust fund aspect of billing needs improvement, otherwise the program has been meeting our needs.

Pros: Look and feel is excellent and summarization screens are simple and effective for quick information. The ability of retaining one's own organization is also key. The program is simple but carries a surprisinly high degree of flexibility.

Cons: Trust repelensihment billing really needs to be added to invoicing. Case listing can be a bit cumbersome at times, but alternatives in searching and bringing up cases compensates for this.

Comments: I haven't had the chance to use the payment module yet which is mildly frustrating but i'm looking forward to same. The company also offers related website services in support/conjunction which I am considering but am unable to advise otherwise on.

Pros: Setup is structured but allows you to add your own categories and fields in addition to tasks, notes, documents etc letting you put what you feel is important up front. Unlimited storage in the cloud to allow for document association as well as a editing program and the ability of clients to check status on their cases to the extent you want such are all attractive features.

Cons: The open architecture approach is welcomed but I would like to be able to organize more case type specific concepts more easily than what I can. The editing program only works apparently if the system you are on has MS word as otherwise the system will advise you to purchase same. The mobile application I believe it being upgraded but you cannot see tasks on it for the moment.
