I had been reviewing a few farm management software options before eventually settling for Farmbright. And I'm happy to say, it was the right choice. Pros Record keeping with Farmbright is so easy to do and provides fantastic customer support. There are lots of videos and support FAQs. In addition, queries are quickly responded to. Cons I've used the software since October 2025 and so far, I haven't identified anything I don't like about Farmbrite. Really like the way each segment of farming is laid out for simplisity. Also like the ability to send feedback to the developer for software (in my humble opinion) improvement. Pros Farmbrite is a well rounded farm software that can be taylored to most any animal also to manage land, equipment and accounting down to the detalil in each category. Well thought out and laid out for easy use and a quick look back what was done when, the cost, what was bought and sold, how the animals grew and the cost to grow animals and/or crops. Also software cost is less that similar software of this quality and discounts are available Cons Their is a learning curve as with any product. It dose take a while to get everything pluged in. I could not get the farm or animals to download. Our accounting team is happy with the accounting side and the crop side is robust and detailed. The QR codes were important to us as well. From planting to harvest and tracking seed to consumer; its been an great addition to our operations. Any issues we need help working through on the software, Farmbrite has been available and helpful in walking us through the issue. And they do not charge for the support. Farmbrite also has a program for new farmers where the costs of the software are greatly discounted for several years to help with start up costs. Pros Comprehensive. From accounting to crop management, to livestock management, its a full body software. Cons I wish we could pay for the support. They have spent hours helping us and It has been so helpful, that I feel bad and wish we could pay for the support. " September 19, 2025 5.0 I am a tiny tiny tiny farm - La Finquita Farm - a 1/4 acre plot and I manage a few small urban farms including a rooftop. I wasn’t sure if this was right for me but the stress have several spreadsheets and list and apps was frustrating. FARMBRITE was great - all encompassing tool and their videos are great! Speaking to their customer service ahead of going all in was helpful they were so knowledgeable! Pros For the price, the platform delivers an incredible amount of tools. It combines features I would otherwise need multiple apps or spreadsheets for, making it well worth the investment. The support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping farmers succeed. Anytime I’ve had a question, I’ve gotten clear answers and solutions quickly. They even did a ZOOM meeting w me to help me onboard. Cons Nothing! But I see a lot of potential for its growth and accessibility. I plan to stick with them! No other cons. Review Source AH Ashton H. It can be glitchy at times, but it has also helped me keep track of more information than ever before. Pros Farmbrite makes crop planning, management, and analysis much easier! Our team is able to predict and track harvest yields better because of this software. Cons The learning curve for Farmbrite can be fairly steep because there are a lot of sections and small details to be aware of. But, in the end, that means we have more thorough information! Look at the monthly schedule, assign tasks, ask for approval on buying items from the owner, setting up the grow locations, and seeing the big picture quickly. Pros I love how Farmbrite sets you up to succeed, and also allows for you to customize it to your needs with a couple additions/ tweaks. Farmbrite worked really hard to make it easy to use for all types of learners, it is clear, detailed, and a happy medium of having enough options but not overloading you with too many options. The customer support Help Articles are fantastic. The ability to talk with wonderful Customer Support people in a one on one or group setting really sets this software apart from the others. Cons I can't say that I dislike anything, because every time I come across a situation I am having trouble with, I am able to connect with Customer Support and they are able to help me out. Administrator Farming Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Centralization of Farm Data Simplifies Management " August 11, 2020 4.0 The owner of the farm/ranch only visits the ranch once a month but he requires daily reports. The data from the reports is in PDF format and sent via email. The reports contain information on animal census and health as well as task lists and progress reports projects on the property such as fencing, planting, well and building and barn maintenance. With Farmbrite we have one centralized platform for entering and storing all the data from the reports. It is now simple to itemize and prioritize all the tasks and schedule completion dates on the Calendar. We can run reports with the data and eliminate the need for paper or PDF versions. Farmbrite simplifes this process which makes all the processes more efficient. Less time documenting and more time 'doing' what needs to be done. Pros Farmbrite enables animal, crop and equipment tracking and management in a simple format. It is intuitive. I was able to begin implementing it immediately without taking the tutorials. January 31, 2020 5.0 I use Farmbrite every January to log an entire year's worth of receipts for my farm. I love how easy it is to track expenses in each category. My accountant appreciates the print out at the end because it makes filing the Schedule F a breeze! Pros I only use the accounting feature of Farmbrite. It's much easier, for me, than using a spreadsheet. I LOVE how the Schedule F categories are already entered and in a drop down menu. Pros I like the ability to have records of individual animals. As a livestock-based farm, we use the notes to keep track of feed for different animals. Cons Until tax time, I couldn't understand why there wasn't a "livestock purchase" tab under expenses as there seems to be one for EVERTHING else. But, once I did taxes, I realized Farmbrite is based off IRS forms.
