GloFox worked just fine for what our facility needed at the time. I wasn't looking to switch platforms.

Pros

The software was pretty easy to learn how to use and to apply it. Managing the memberships and their payments was easy.

Cons

I understand that these things cost money, obviously. But we ended up switching to a platform that put the cost on the members in a fair and balanced way.

The initial onboarding was a bit chaotic due to my personal reasons and the personal reasons of my assigned onboarding manager. Now that I have finally gotten a hold of Customer success managers \[sensitive content hidden\], I have been able to have very productive meetings and correct a lot of inefficiencies and incorrect setups that were not correct during the onboarding process.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] have been super helpful with correcting some of my initial onboarding errors or inefficiencies!

Cons

Some of the support team. is not equipped to handle most of the features.

Very smooth onboarding. But very labour intensive manually transferring booked classes over from the old booking system

Pros

Super easy end-user experience. Owner dashboard also pretty simple to use. Onboarding has been very smooth with quick bespoke app developed.

Cons

App showing 4 weeks in advance (as per settings), web portal showing 2 and half months in advance. Struggling with support to fix it.

Customer service was readily available and went above & beyond to support my needs and the development of my app and software.

Cons

I see some negative reviews online however, I've yet to run into any cons with Glofox.

Great experience with the onboarding support from Louise. So far pretty good, I am still getting the hang of using the system with customers as it does seem like you have to allow them to run into issues before everything works smoothly.

Pros

I found my onboarding coach incredibly helpful and really available to email for help and schedule meetings with. She really helped me to understand the system and be able to use it in a way that will work for my business as I was quite overwhelmed by it all and would have been lost without her help.

Cons

I feel like there are some costs and features that aren't well explained in order to possible get extra add ons purchased. Some features seem a bit overcomplicated.

Pros

Cons

SMS limit per month on the highest package. I think it can be increased or unlimited with the top tier package for customers. Apple pay would be a great benefit to the platform as well. Separate appointment emails for businesses i.e sauna appointment confirmation would be totally different than a sports massage appointment confirmation.

It started off as a negative one but now I’m fully onboarded it’s turned into a positive after all the help I received from Louise

Pros

My onboarding manager Louise. I’ll be honest I found Glofox itself a bit rocky, as from the start I felt very miss sold however, Louise restored to faith in the company.

Cons

The hidden fees throughout from the cost not including VAT to the costs associated with amplify and so on.

Biggest mistake I’ve made for my start up was getting a Glofox subscription

Pros

Nothing, it was hard to use and the company were so unhelpful once the sales person was done with me and they had me on a yearly subscription

Cons

That I spent so much money on a platform that was unnecessary for my business and the company still decided to upsell what I didn’t need. Do not sign an annual contract you will regret it. Research all your options as there are platforms for £10 a month that do the same.

As someone who has never had any business experience before, this whole process was overwhelming however \[sensitive content hidden\] managed to make every situation simple, he was always there to answer any questions straight away and never left me waiting. he gave me great advice and i cant thank him enough!

I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts regarding my recent experience with GloFox. While I appreciate the friendly demeanor of the staff, I have unfortunately encountered significant challenges with support from both the staff and management. We were charged $1,500 despite not being fully onboarded due to ongoing software issues. It appears that the contract primarily serves to protect GloFox from customer dissatisfaction and the implications of its practices. I feel that management prioritizes financial gain over customer satisfaction, which has impacted my overall experience. I believe there is an opportunity for improvement in how customer concerns are addressed. Thank you for considering this feedback. Other solutions such as Mindbody, Acuity, and Vagaro offered the features GloFox lacked but we did not discover these missing features until we signed a 3-month contract. Spend more time than you think you need with the sales staff before committing. Software may work for a ton of companies but if you have a unique use case then ask every question you have before signing anything and make them demo everything before signing. They will not let you out of the contract even when they realize they will not be able to serve your needs. $1500 wasted. Best regards, Andrew Woodward

User Interface works nice and the idea of the app is nice too but other companies exceed them on both features.

Cons

Basic booking features are missing and management cares more about holding you in a contract than doing the right thing. We did not onboard a single member onto this platform once we realized it was not the right solution. We have gone to Mindbody and are completely satisfied with their services.

Some of the after-hours customer service reps are subpar. There are a few features of the app (specifically around the Kisi integration) that need some improvements.

Really good overall. Its made my life so much easier from an organizational point of view and a professional point of view. My clients really love being able to book into their classes themselves and cancel within the time frame if they need to.\[sensitive content hidden\] was my go to person to help me get set up and she was so so helpful and was straight back to me if I ever had any difficulty so she was fantastic to have as there were times that I had trouble figuring things out and she was so helpful.

Pros

I like the convenience of the app. It saves me so much time in relation to booking appointments and I love that it facilitates pre pay options so I am assured that I will get paid for a booking.

Cons

I would like to be able to do more with the app, eg add class credits to someone's account or add a new class time as this can only be done through the desktop computer.

Awful! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The people answering the phones are very nice, but they have no answers to any questions and the managers won’t call you back.

Pros

I don’t know. The customer service was so awful I never was able to experience their services.

Cons

If you are ok with waiting 48 hours to fix any issues you have with your Glofox app, then you will be fine. I sent several emails trying to get a call back to receive help with an onboarding dilemma and could not get help from Glofox. You will get someone from customer service to answer, but no one that can actually help with an issue. If you end up needing to speak to a manager, you will never get a response. Way over priced for the service you getS.

Because the salesmen were convincing. It might be a great product, but if you can’t get the help you need, it doesn’t matter.

We had issues with customers not approving payments. Customers received their purchase but we didn't receive payment! I flagged this with Glofox (it was a software flaw), they basically said tough sh\*t. The customer support is useless, the software is constantly glitching. Disgrace don't go near them,

Everything that matters! This is easily the worst software experience we've had after over a decade in business.
