Absolutely god awful.

Pros

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Cons

I have avoided leaving this type of review for 3 months because I wanted to see out the transition from my old system and allow for expected teething issues. However, I’ve waited 3 months from a solution to a huge problem I am facing, in reality this system is awful. The bugs, the lack of customer support, the lack of clarity on the system itself, the difficulties migrating customers and payments. (It took 6 weeks and they still pay me on the wrong dates every month) it sent 160 emails to clients when it shouldn’t have, it takes payments from customers banks on the wrong date, it can’t send formatted emails without my business logo being squashed. Overall - absolutely not fit for purpose. The system is glitchy, the calendar takes 24 hours to update which is completely pointless for quick business changes.

Glofox are responsive and supportive to my business needs. The staff are excellent and extremely helpful and friendly. With my business recently expanding, I have been been offered very good clear guidance by my Account Manager.

Pros

Easy for clients to book classes via the studio app. Easy for instructors to register class participants. A pleasant experience using the Glofox dashboard.

Cons

Unable to message a class via the app if a teacher changes or the class is cancelled.

It's been great. Everyone has been friendly, supportive, and accessible. Once it's setup it really needs almost nothing from me.

Pros

I love how easy it was to setup from a backend standpoint. Clients also have an easy time using it which is a huge bonus.

Cons

I \*really\* wish there was an option to allow clients to enter a promo code or discount code at checkout.

Pros

I work alone, meaning I don't have someone to speak to customers on my behalf or someone to generate leads and convert them. Glofox has helped me have a bird's eye view of my client's and class performance.

Cons

The mobile app experience could use an upgrade, as well as some of the prompts on the client app that have copy that is misleading e.g. 'this event has passed' when a client tries to book a class too soon before a class.

Customer convenience is the biggest advantage. They can view, book and cancel without a messages or calls, back & forth ensuring our administration team don't end up spending their time with bookings and customer queries

Pros

It's extremely user friendly and has been simplified to ensure minimum amount of steps required in all customer aspects from booking classes to purchasing memberships. It allows customers to book in at any time of the day or night & allows us to have full transparency of who's attending each and every class.

Cons

Amendments to memberships are cumbersome and require alot of manual input. The new dashboard has excellent features however there were some nice parts of the old dashboard that have been lost which were very useful for our daily management information

Our review is a little different, as the Glofox software itself didn't end up meeting our business' needs based on our need for a dual membership system as we offer both fitness and nutrition coaching as separate products. Our review is more about the willingness of the Glofox team to work with us to try and find a solution...and continued to go out of their way to work with us on a transition to another software when we mutually agreed that it ended up not being the right fit. They didn't have to do that but stayed true to putting our business needs first which was great!

Pros

Layout was easy to navigate and looked very nice.

Cons

Functionality didn't end up meeting our needs. We need a dual membership system.

At the start of using Glofox I was a little apprehensive. There is a fair amount of effort to populate the data. The support I received at the start and ongoing has been exceptional. I feel fully supported by the Glofox team. In particular Stephen, who is absolutely amazing. The feedback we have been getting from our members has been amazing. Our members have completely embraced Glofox, it's intuitive and allows them to be self sufficient and not dependent on the gym for payments and bookings. Our team can spend time building relationships with our members instead of having to worry about paperwork, Par-Qs (all fully integrated), payment details, monthly subscriptions etc. The user experience on the App is great. The back end system for the gym has helped us understand our business and look at opportunities for growth. We can run quick and easy reports, and email all our registered members (over 1000 now!) in one click. It's saved so much time and effort. Glofox is an investment for your current business and future growth. I would strongly recommend Glofox for your gym.

Less Stress really. You can focus on your strengths and on your clients. Do not have to worry about transactions or being at two places at once. You get more than what you pay for. It helps you to also grow your business and expand in various ways all while keeping stress levels low.

Pros

How easy it really is. Structured so well, that all you have to do is fill in the blanks. I was actually surprised on some of the features because I would have never thought I would need certain things. So it added to my business plan and gave me more knowledge. The customer service is really great! I believe that is why I went with Glofox. I understand (like everything) that products will evolve and change. Glofox is aware that there may be things that will change, they know the product is great but not perfect. But they are always searching, learning from their clients, they listen and empower clients to have a forward and back dynamic so that they can make this software great and most importantly help people like me to focus on what I do best. Kudos to the support staff, working with you guys made life easy for me, all of you are sincere and genuine which made it easy for me to express and share my aspirations and philosophy with you guys, making this process very seamless and easy. GloFox IMHO has been one of the single biggest things that has made our business scale by over 50% in 4 months. We now have a view and control over our business thanks to GloFox, without spending hours in Excel!

Pros

The view of members and what membership plan they are on is great, as too are the financial reports

Cons

Sadly we dont use GloFox to its full potential, but I would like to be able to customise reports and views in the sections I use!It would also be great if the exports were customisable so we could integrate with our other management products.

Glofox is nice to look at, and simple enough for staff

Cons

Glofox's functionality and intuition is very low. The system cant even send out an email for a cancelled class's. The only option to notify clientele is if they 1. have the app downloaded & 2 have push notifications turned on...... This blows my mind. How can a booking system not send out a direct message to notify clientele. This is one example of many.

The team at Glofox has been very good. They answer questions and take time to help you understand what to do. There is also constant new development happening within the program which makes it better each month.

Pros

The program is easy to use. Navigation and setup works well and simplifies my daily routine for running the business. The App is by far the best feature with this programming. It is easy to use and gives clients very direct access to classes and events that are happening within the facility.

Cons

The least liked feature is not being able to print contracts and having to sign up parents for accounts so there children can have their accounts active. This is also not a martial arts based software system, however it works well for my studio which also has fitness classes.

For us, the price of the platinum level subscription plus fully branded app was what got us over the line. It is more affordable than other software. It is also much more user friendly for us as a studio, and for our clients. The web integration is also great. Can definitely see why everyone is using glofox!

Cons

Initially it was extremely hard to get in contact, and get a demo call. But once I received the right contact information, the process was very quick.

I chose this option based on the reviews on this site but I can't imagine how it is so highly rated. I've had nothing but trouble with it--and I'm not a novice with this sort of thing. My very first credit card payment received was charged in Euros rather than dollars. The app and the desktop is glitchy at best and feels more like a beta version than a product ready for the masses. My clients have had terrible luck signing up or canceling their classes--the app consistently tells them the class has already passed even though it may be hours before the class time. My clients have lost confidence in the app and all but one have given up trying so I'm back to never knowing who is coming and having to be at my desk to check them in rather than on the floor overseeing their warm-ups with my assistant. The gym owner side of the app is useless. It crashes with every use--either on opening or when I try to navigate to any of the other pages. Last night, one of my clients purchased a package from the app for which they ended up with FOUR packages charged FOUR times to their credit card. I can't get out of this program fast enough!!

I like the idea of it. Their staff is very nice.

Cons

Nothing works as promised.

Just rubbish

Pros

We decided on this software because it had a number of features we thought would work well like book a buddy and it's integrations were really customisable for the site.

Cons

It actually doesn't live up to what it says it can do. Book a buddy is useless and integrations constantly glitch.

I have more free time to spend with actual important things instead of spending my life managing my studio. My sales are improving and my students love the Glofox.

Pros

It's beautiful and save me a lot of time. I don't have enough words to describe how much it changed my life and my mental health. I used to live with Excel sheets and spend a lot of time booking students. Now I have more time free to talk with possible customers and to work on my studio marketing. The app is great and easy to use and there's a lot of great things. I love the push up notifications, the waiting list, the store. Definately a great choice.

Cons

The app is great but we know how technology works, and yes there's some glitches. The desktop version very ugly what surprises me after their beautiful app. And no admin app, using your own app with your admin account you'll have access to some admin functions, a few.

I recently switched from another well known membership software that is sold as the one of the leading membership and payment processing companies out there. They were expensive, poor technical support, poor customer usability and overall not a great product. I luckily stumbled upon Glofox and our Gym is all round happy and excited to use Glofox. Their support and customer service is second to none, the app is getting great feedback from our clients, our staff find it simple and functionality is great. Gym operations is a lot easier under Glofox now. It was a great business decision switching over to Glofox. Switch over was painless as well with great support along the way.

Overall, I like the product. I am hoping that another month from now we will just be coasting a long easily and I won't be fielding questions or problems from the students.

Pros

I like the separation of Virtual and in studio classes. Students find it easy to sign in. I did find the onboarding proccess stressful and and at times confussing.

Cons

I wish it was easier to track student payments along side of their class participation. I don't really understand this whole class credit thing. Is a credit a class? I think the credits just confuse people.
