December 19, 2017 5.0 Pros The visibility it gives across multiple company locations. The ability to see multiple tariffs on one page eliminating the use of opening tabs. The ability to create users which on top of increasing visibility cuts down on the inbound calls from outside sales force looking for shipment information. Cons Not allowing pickups to be scheduled if it is past a certain time. If you go to a carriers site they will still allow the schedule but may have a popup saying "pickup time after 3pm maybe scheduled for next day". What that does is allow the local terminal to use its own local rules and shipment load to decide if the shipment will get picked up the same day. Need more education with the carriers to not cover up the Pro# generated with the pre-printed Pro# stickers they carry. When this happens of course, we loose tracking. Cons I feel like there should be more communication when the pickup is not going to be made. Pros I really enjoy the ease of having all of my carriers on one page where I can manage multiple quotes and choose the best option for our specific needs. Once I have everything set up and our vendors added I believe it will be a huge asset Pros I like that it brings all the carriers into one platform. No longer having to remember which carrier needs which information and then the separate scheduling after the shipments are built. Cons I would like to be able to add items to the catalog (so that I don't have to keep looking up nmfc's) without having to input the dimensions. Our dimensions do differ often. I would also like to see hours of operation to be more customizable. For example one of our vendors is closed on Fridays, and we are closed earlier on Friday than we are Mon-Thurs. Very consistent and love how you are able to track past data. That helps us out a ton! Pros Easy access to rates, able to quote when needed, and value for money is unbelievable! We can get data anytime we need it. Cons I really don't have anything. I don't have any other experience with something like FV but would recommend it to anyone. Definitely a quality product. I have used it for several years and have no plans to use another software. Pros This is a very user friendly tool. I can go through and schedule shipments with ease whenever I need to. Cons The only issue I have had with Freightview so far is the transit times that pull from carrier websites. They have been inaccurate a handful of times, but that is all that comes to mind. We have tried many other solutions for our shipment management, but none comes close to FreightView. Cons Would like to see a better integration of LTL carrier accessorial charges like inbond for shipments to and form Canada. Cons No Cons. I like it.. There really are no cons so far other than sometimes I have a hard time logging in to the platform, but I believe it might be my companies' issue. The auditing process is an added bonus, as our previous system did have that option. It's a great value for what we pay for it. Viewing the shipping options and offers is seamless. Tracking the deliveries is very helpful. Cons When auditing invoices it seems like there are a lot of steps to create the custom filter. Perhaps that could be improved a bit. Manager Building Materials Used the software for: 2+ years ### "My favorite SAAS. " September 29, 2025 5.0 We have been using Freightview for booking our LTL shipments since 2018. We use several SAAS software packages and Freightview offers the best support of any of them. Their Chat support answers questions quickly and correctly. If there is an issue (which was probably 4 times over the past 7 years) it is resolved usually within minutes. The software is easy to use and fast and prevents errors. Our A/P department uses the audit feature. The software forces our LTL carriers to be competitive and if they change their rates we know immediately because every shipment shows us who offers the best rate and the transit time. We have provided feedback with suggestions and though they may not be able to implement everything immediately, they have been responsive and make continual improvements. Pros Easy to use. Their chat support is second to none. We have never had a day where we could not use the software. Saves us a HUGE amount of time. Comparing rates and transit times is instantaneous. Creating BOL and Labels is very fast. Customer Service can see what is booked, the status of shipments so they can tell customers if their shipment is going out that day without checking with shipping. If you have customers that always want to know as soon as the freight is scheduled for pick-up you can set that customer to get an email automatically when you book the freight. For drop shipments, the system will automatically send an email with a link to the BOL and labels to the shipper with just one click. We always know which is the lowest rate and the transit time. Cons There is nothing I do not like about the software. I would like to see an additional feature. The software tells you the price and promised delivery time for each carrier. I would like to see next to that the percentage of how often they deliver on time for that lane. I have provided this suggestion, and I am hoping this is something they can add. I know this is a complicated data analysis and not simple, but for shipments that are time critical, it would be very helpful. We have found that carriers have good lanes and bad lanes so we cannot make a blanket statement that a carrier who is always reliable to one location is always reliable to another location. Pros Freightview is very user friendly and dependable....The app isn't sluggish and the quotes come in fast and are very accurate....I have never experienced a delay in the shipment being picked up , once it has been scheduled... I also love that I have a wide variety of Carriers that I can choose from and I have the ability to message each one separately if needed.... Pros The simplicity of doing all booking and communication through this program has benefitted our business hugely. The bidding process and tracking in particular are a breeze. Cons Not being able to communicate directly with the carriers on LTL shipments is not a major issue, but it would be good if there was a way to message carriers that we have booked with for ETAs, etc on LTL shipments. The other freight service we used was not really user friendly and you could not schedule your pick ups. Pros This is an easy system to use, all you need is the information and your all set. This takes the guesswork out having to remember to call and have the load picked up. Plus it just saves you time. Cons The search feature can be a bit of a pain when you are looking up a shipment that has already left the shop. It was always a hassle going to multiple platforms to get rates and would be very time consuming. Also when I need help customer service chat box is always very helpful and helps me with what I need. Pros Freightview makes booking orders easier and quicker. Also shows us the cheapest cost which is what we go for. Cons Sometimes I cannot retract shipments and need to delete the whole thing and create a new one. Would be easier if we can retract every shipment if needed.
