Pros: It's easy to understand what and where exactly has to be filled in order to achieve what you need to.

Cons: Can't really think of something which is that bad or is missing.

Pros: I have everything I need in one app that is feature rich, but at the same time really easy to use. I go from sending estimates, to setting up projects, tasks, time tracking and billing (it is even integrated with Payoneer, so my clients pay me directly from the invoice!). I tried and tested and was using 3 apps to get all I needed done before I found Paymo. Now it's only one tab on my browser!

Cons: Nothing really, been using it for months and the more I use it, the more I like it! Whenever I need to do something different or new, setting a different hourly rate for a particular project or task, edit the timesheets, mark an invoice that wasn't paid online as paid, or send reminders, everything is just there with such a great UI.

Overall: I am so much more organized now and can focus a lot better on my work!

Pros: It's easy to use and integrate with our other systems thru their REST API and Webhooks. It gives us a quick overlook of all our projects, invoices and contacts.

Cons: We are missing custom fields on the customers, and being able to put them into different categories depending on what services we are offering to them. Because if we had this option, then we would be able to use it as a lead tool as well.

Pros: I love the templates that it lets you create and add to projects.
Ultimately Paymo saves you an incredible amount of time. It allowed us to move from 3 separate apps for tracking hours, tasking, and project management, to just using Paymo.

Cons: The biggest con for me is the lack of a more comprehensible "tasks" dashboard.
I wish there was a better way to track incomplete tasks that are directly assigned to you.

Pros: The time keeping, its really simple and easy just\y pick the task and the time and its done. very effective and fast.

Cons: there isnt much to dislike at all. I would personally like for the program to omit the stat holidays so i can tell my exact hours for the month.

Pros: easy to use, reliable, accurate time tracking. Robust features. Unlimited clients and projects. Each project will have a dashboard showing total hours worked and how many tasks out of total have been completed. Projects can be tracked by custom categories, like bid, active, on hold, lost/won, archived. Task view can be switched between list, table, and kanban; users can collaborate by commenting on tasks, attaching files, assigning the task, and setting due dates. Team Scheduling allows you to see who is busy (or overwhelmed) and who is free to work on more tasks. Accounting features: Invoicing, Estimates, Expenses. The built-in timer makes tracking time spent working on tasks quick and easy.

Cons: Paymo is constantly improving this software and adding great, new features. One that would be helpful is the ability for each user to have a view showing all the tasks assigned to them, sorted by due date. Currently there is a My Tasks section, but it only sorts by Project Name.

Excellent time recording / analysis tool that has always been good, and is still getting better.

Pros: Paymo is easy to use in configuration, time recording and reporting. It's a great solution for scheduling and recording staff and subcontractor time.

Cons: Paymo is attempting to make the transition from a time recording utility to a full-blown project management tool. In this regard it has a way to go, so it's sort of caught in the middle at the moment. I've made a couple of attempts to work with the auto-time recorder, but have given up each time (but that's possibly more related to the fragmented nature of my work - your mileage may vary.

Overall: Great visibility of where time is being spent, including analysis of time write-offs, job profitability and staff productivity levels.

Pros: Love this product, I've told everyone (who would listen or needed advice) about it. I've been using this product for years and love everything about it, especially the price!

Cons: Customer service is not something I like using since I can never get my questions answered real time. By the time I poke around and figure things out, they are no longer needed. If you're going to instal live chat on your site, then you need to be "Live"

Pros: Easy of use and plenty of great features. It is updated often and I have never had a "bug". I have submitted feature requests in the past and get same-day response from their product team.

Overall: Time management, textual notes for jobs, expenses, invoices, end of year reports for my taxes.

Pros: The Paymo setup is quite easy and transparent. In order to customize it for our needs, I found out that I could perhaps manipulate the hierarchy of clients / projects / task lists / tasks. Before doing so, I checked with their Support desk (live chat!) to make sure I wouldn't run into problems later on.
So now, we have a structure that fits our needs pretty well.

The application allows for many views (tables!) and reports.

Cons: For managing a team, it would be nice to have options to save filters, so that you can quickly jump from one view to another.

Some views are a bit too bland, making me feel a little lost on where to go.

Overall: Time tracking is a matter of discipline. Paymo is easy enough to use on a daily base, I had little to no trouble on adapting to the habit.

Pros: Works well, does what it says it does.

Cons: Price went up recently, but still value for money.

Overall: I've used Paymo for the last 4 years for time tracking and invoicing of clients in freelance and work from home use. I don't use all of its features, but love that it has built in invoicing linked to paypal, can handle multiple currencies and makes recording my hours a breeze!

Comments: I used Paymo for a month and the value for what you get is awesome because the packages are pretty cheap relative to other to other project management tools. However, that makes sense because Paymo does a lot but doesn't do anything fantastically. It is great to stay organized and have all of your information in one place but not for daily activity. There is a lot going on and it doesn't streamline project management as some other applications do.

Comments: Excellent support first off. Next, killer UI. Paymo presents a plethora of essential features while retaining shear simplicity in execution. From my consumer research, Paymo offers more function and value for less than the competitors. I have relied on Paymo to simplify and automate my accounting and invoicing with over a dozen clients for the last 3 years, and never had a single regret about the service in ANY way. Overall: Paymo is a great all in one Studio Management app. You can control every stage of a project production since the estimating process to the invoicing and payment.
The app works really fast and has many great functionalities. The Accounting tools let you keep track of every financial aspect of the projects, and the project management app is great for collaborating between teammates.
The only bad aspect i can find is pricing... although is not that expensive, they charge you 10usd for using the accounting app and 10 more if you want to use the gantt app.

Comments: As a freelance programmer I've tried and/or used a whole range of tracking and project management software over the past 20 years or so but Paymo has come as close to the perfect solution for me as I'm ever likely to find.

Pros: I use the Mac widget most of the time. I find logging in to online services irritating so Paymo is perfect. Everything goes in via the (unobtrusive widget) and I log in to the Paymo website maybe once or twice a month to create reports. The time tracking reports are very professional and easy to create.

Cons: I can't think of any other than maybe that it doesn't have a cup of coffee ready for me in the morning :)

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are like me and want a tracking program that is out of the way unless you want to use it, allows you to easily switch between jobs and has a great range of reporting options then definitely try Paymo.

Overall: I tested alot of time tracking service providers. This one is in my opinion the best - there are a lot of helpful features (invoicing, automatically generated payment reminders, performance measuring of employees, mobile app, estimations, expenses, defining working days, gant charts...), but they managed to keep the application easy to use. The price is standard for this class of business, but the service you get is great. There is also a very active and helpful support.

Pros: The workflow. I enter data once at the top of the workflow - build out projects, tasks and subtasks. From there, I can estimate, budget, track. When it comes time to bill, one click and my customer has everything they need, including detailed time tracking information.

Cons: There are a lot of needs by different types of use cases. Paymo can't satisfy everything. Of the few details that _I_ personally would like to have, their support has always offered a useful alternative.

Overall: I am a remote freelancer. From day one, Paymo made planning, budgeting, organizing, and billing simple and straight forward.

Example:
I use it for project planning and task management. I didn't' even realize at the time, but using the built-in timer against each individual task made it so that I could report to my customer overall time on each high-level project and task. When it came time for the first billing, they wanted that level of detail, and got it w/o with the invoice, w/o having to ask. That makes me look VERY good in their eyes.

This is the sort of detail put into this product. Expect to be wowed.

Recommendations to other buyers: The free trial is generous. Give it a try for one billing cycle.

Pros: - Paymo comes with a nice desktop widget Paymo Timer (I'm using Paymo on mac) and another app called Paymo Plus which is really awesome. You can monitor absolutely everything you do with your computer and easily organise each task by drag&drop to each different project.
- Their subscription plans are really affordable.

Overall: I've worked about 9 years in a company writing down my daily tasks on a sheet of paper. It was a real nightmare. For my own little company I wanted to find an affordable, flexible and reliable solution to track down the time spend on different projects. We believe that being well organised with time is a major key to success. Time is money right? I've compared online apps like Paymo for quite some time and tested quite a few as well. Paymo has really all we need and it keeps improving. In the beginning when things were a little confusing, their support was always super reactive to help me out in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend Paymo.

Overall: I work as a freelancer in it, so tracking time and tasks for customers is essential, in every product i tried so far i find bugs or stuff which works not in that way i want to work. So i keep always looking for new tools.

With paymo it looks like i finally found one which fits me. A usable client for OS x and IOS was a must and so far i did not find any showstoppers and its pretty straight forward to track time and no delay tracking tasks ok they manage their tasks by themselves but other tools i have to wait 5 minutes to import them or their client is unusable or buggy.

Paymo is fast and has a simple workflow that is important for me, i don't need thousands of features and spend ours tracking time and tasks so it fits for me.

Only which i did not find yet are reoccurring tasks, that would be an improvement.

Overall i am really pleased with it so far, hope it stays like that.

Cons: It has sometimes problems with timetracking desktop app.

Overall: We've been using Paymo since a month for now. Thanks to it, we can now organize our work faster than before and check how much time we are in need for particular project with particular tasks. The report and invoices system are also very in need for us - it's a nice thing in relation to contact with our clients (simplifies some matters a lot).
I must also praise their tech-support. When I have any questions, I'm getting answers even within a few moments.

Pros: Paymo makes to work in teams and cooperate with different projects much easier.

Cons: The worst thing we found in Paymo is about adaptation because its difference from others time tracking app we used before.

Pros: Nice modern layout, good time tracking. Project management features are great, can bill by fixed fee or time, or even a mixture. Shows you unbilled time which is great.

Cons: Invoices don't integrate with Xero, which makes them kind of pointless because I have to recreate them in Xero. They help to track billed/unbilled time, but lack of integration is a huge disappointment.

Overall: I've tried almost every time tracking app available, and while the timesheets and time tracking aren't the best of others, adding project tracking, costs, invoices etc... it makes it stand out from all others. It is the most complete package for sure. I really wish they built in integration to Xero (not sure why this was dropped, the answers on this integration are vague at best).

Recommendations to other buyers: Overall, I still think this is one of the best time/project tracking apps out there. I think the cost is a bit high (an extra $10/month) for invoicing, but you can't go wrong with Paymo.

Comments: We have a unique company that has to track our time very diligently. Paymo is the first all-inclusive tracking software we have found that works for us. Before, it took us three custom spreadsheets, two software applications and a lot of time to dump all of the data into yet another software application, to keep track of all of our times properly for all of our various client projects. I love that they also have an expense and invoice feature, as well as a quick start-and-stop stopwatch. We've tried several of the others that claim to be able to handle what we do, but they've fallen short every time. Paymo hasn't and we've been using them for several months. What I love most are the super easy to create and simple look of the reports you can create. They even have a link to send the report to the client, which is so useful for us when customers are curious about their bill. I can say this software is great for teams as big as ten employees (could be more, but I can't attest to that as we are a small company). We currently have 20 clients and several internal projects, and it handles all of them seamlessly. We can assign and set hours to our employees and color code each project so you can quickly see what has been taking the most amount of everyone's time.

Pros: The small price and big function. I went through a lot of options and free trials to find a project management tool that offers as much for as little. The time tracking and reporting work fantastic. They keep slowly improving and adding functionality.

Cons: There are a few minor glitches that really irk me from time to time but they are trivial. It doesn't seem like there is a way to set preferences for window views so every time I log back in I have to reset the view (shut off the archive items, set the view to go from newest date on reports, things like that). Nothing that has been close to a deal breaker for me.

Recommendations to other buyers: There are a lot of bells and whistles here that I don't even use and haven't ever explored - dig around. They have a free tier that lets you use everything and try everything for as long as you need to. It's well worth exploring.

Pros: The time tracking apps are awesome.

Cons: Pre scheduled cronograms would improve my capacity to preview future exceeded hours budget.

Overall: With Paymo I can analyze my entire company performance and analyze inside project progress.
Paymo allow me to control each project adding custom or pre-configured task-lists and tasks.
I use zanier to connect with my CRM, so everything works fine and integrated.

Overall: I'm freelancer creating websites and I was looking for perfect project management and time tracking solution. I've tried almost 30 different tools but none of them was good enough for me. So I've decided to use Paymo. It's simple and intuitive, you can track time, manage your projects and clients and create invoices. It's the only project management tool which has most of the features I need for managing my projects.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are freelancer with only few coworkers then don't look for another software. I did it and Paymo is at this time the best.

Pros: The ability to customize, create templates, and easily modify and share projects. I love the fact that Paymo is constantly improving and is very responsive to our needs and wishes for improvements.

Cons: The inability to integrate easily with other apps. This is the single largest thing holding Paymo back. Luckily, they are responsive and show efforts to make integration more widespread.

Overall: I've been using this product for a little less than a year and am 100% pleased with it so far. I've used a few other solutions that either had far too much or far too little or were priced out of my budget. I wanted a complete solution for a small business and Paymo delivers.

Recommendations to other buyers: Review all other software before choosing. Just because it works for my needs doesn't mean it'll work for yours.

Pros: Everything I listed in my experience, as well as the other features like team collaboration (that we haven't tried yet, but are going to in the coming months)

Cons: Without the invoice add-on, you only have the option to create one invoice per month...I wish it were at least 2 :(

Overall: For a few years, I've been using Paymo and it has become an essential part of project management for our business. We're able to keep our project, client and time reports organized, as well as files and invoices...yes they offer an easy invoicing system that integrates with the tasks and projects created very well. So, they've been good to us and are constantly improving to keep up with the needs of their customers!

Pros: What I like most is that is a everything you need is in front of you on the dashboard. This program logs your time that you worked on the project, project due dates, and your milestones with your company.

Cons: Not much to say here, it does what I need.

Overall: I was introduced to Paymo by my boss. He created my account and now I can see all the projects he wants me to do. I can't imagine an easier and more convenient program.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would recommend this to someone that is looking to contract individuals from other cities and states.

Overall: I was first introduced to Paymo because a client was using it already for their own internal business management logistics. As I became more familiar with its features and functionality, I began using it for my own projects.

Recommendations to other buyers: There aren't many tools that will give you 100% of what you're looking for or needing in an application. So, I recommend picking one that gets you as close as you can and then getting as familiar as possible with it so you can learn how to make more of it work for your needs.

Comments: I tried software after software trying to find the right one that met my unique needs as a virtual assistant. It was painful. Paymo offers amazing features, such the ability to add projects that have a flat rate and/or budgeted hours, which is exactly what I need and could never seem elsewhere. Comments: We are a human resources consulting firm. As such, we need to track any time worked for our clients in detail. Paymo is the perfect solution for us. The product helps every employee track time either online, through a widget, or via a smartphone. And, the time can easily be converted into reports and best of all invoices. It has been a huge time saver and a great way to keep an eye on our time spent on projects. The final piece we are waiting for is an integration with Quickbooks.

Comments: Do the free trial to see why. You'll get an initial impression that compared to the feature rich apps of Wrike, Asana, Basecamp, Teamwork and many others that Paymo is fairly simple. It is but it has some very-well considered functionality around user permissions, pricing and invoice/report generation. The user interface again looks simple but works great.
For us, what's great about Paymo is:
1. Pricing. Great at $4.95 per user. That's a real per user price. 1 user = $4.95 per month.
2. Additional users (we use many collaborators) can then be switched on/off as required.
3. Good user permissions (switch on/off admin, tasks, projects, invoices, estimates, expenses)
4. The general focus on user performance metrics/utilization (with a good dashboard + individual user metrics by hour, month, project and billed/unbilled time.
5. Fantastic, customisable client reporting and wrap-up invoicing with unlimited free client access to these features*.
*The invoice module ($9.95/month per account - which is great way to charge for this) monitors unbilled time with a one-click invoice generation button. That's a great feature whether you use Paymo to send (and receive payments) or not.
In similar fashion, the client report generation tool is cleverly set-up so you can group time/costs by client, user, projects, task lists, tasks, time, day or billed status as well as include the original budgets by project or tasks. For us that's a massive time-saver and a feature-set that not available or so quick and easy to manage on any other PM system we've tried.
The con's on the present feature list (hence why I've only rated Paymo 4 stars overall):
1. There's no easy to see/use UI control over project/task timescales.
2. Equally, no-billable tasks/reminders don't sit as well in the system.
3. Updates aren't realtime, another great Wrike feature.
4. There's no client/guest access to the project details (which I would have thought Paymo could add easily, by making making the default user status 'view only'.
5. Generally speaking Paymo isn't a slick or richly featured as other leading-class PMs.
However, as of May 4th 2016 there's a promise on Paymo's pricing page that Gantt charts, task scheduling and progress tracking is 'coming soon'. Would be great to know roughly what that means Paymo but those three features even if relatively simple but robust (in Paymo's style) would considerably round-off and build-out the Paymo App experience.

Comments: I was for a long time looking for a software that will help me to have my business organized to be able to worry about my work and don´t spend time managing invoices and tasks. I've tried a lot of solutions and always found something wrong, fundamentally I wanted something simple and that would allow me to automate some tasks; with paymo I found it.

Pros: - the invoices addon is easy to use - allow me to customize the number of invoices according to my accounting - allows me to set a date of expiration to the invoices and sends emails automatically to my clients if the invoice is not paid. Repeating these reminders every x days - you can add a link to pay the invoices so that the customer can pay them through paypal, stripe, etc. - you can create automatically recurring invoices every month - you can ask for invoices to be sent automatically or do it manually.

Cons: There is only one thing that i would like to add to paymo. It´s the possiblity to customize the name of the invoice files with a format that i can choose

Comments: I've been searching the web for the perfect project management software for my needs and Paymo is spot on. I have my own design agency so I don't need a project management system bloated with features I don't use. Paymo is simple and has everything I need. I can even disable things I don't need. Many project management systems lack som basic "CRM" features like clients/contacts and notes/wiki. Paymo has both. As a small business I don't need all the advanced CRM features, I just need something simple to manage both projects, contacts and important notes. Combine that with a great user experience, simple but powerful features and a customisable interface and you have Paymo.

Pros: - All the right tools - Clarity - Great overview - Customisable UI (basic) - Easy to use - Desktop and mobile apps - Time tracker - Integrates with Zapier - Basic CRM features - Notes

Comments: I've used Paymo for my private company (over a dozen users) for a year and a half. It was a rocky start at first, but Paymo has done a great job updating the platform. We periodically review the new project management platforms and always confirm that Paymo is the right solution for us. There are other platforms that are better than Paymo at certain things but none that integrate everything - and the price is unbeatable. If you don't go with Paymo, you'd have to integrate a bunch of other solutions.

Pros: - all in one: time tracker, task tracker, project manager, budgeting, invoicing, etc etc - very responsive to requests/complaints - great pricing

Comments: We have found this platform when we were watching for some project management system with an easy to use team callendar feature. And believe me or not it is not so obvious to found this type of tool. Comments: The Paymo app delivers what it promises. As a free-lance graphic designer, I needed a tool that could perform multiple tasks at the same level as a much larger organization: project management, time tracking, estimating and invoicing . The Paymo app allows me to easily perform these tasks and present professional customizable documents to my clients that align with my brand. Feature highlights: The tracked time easily converts into an invoice that can be emailed to a client. The invoice can be synced to a pay pal account allowing the client to pay the bill online. The invoice includes a built in status alert which allows you to track client activity on the invoice. Another benefit of the app is it can be used on multiple platforms. I have used the system for several months now (on my windows, android, and apple devices) and only once had to contact tech support. When I did I received help in a timely manner. I highly recommend this app.

Comments: I love the reports functionality. I have ten reports saved, all that update in real time. Also, the system is extremely user friendly, easy to learn, has a really terrific UI, excellent dashboard, and gives me exactly what I need. I evaluated ten different products, and this was by far the best. And the pricing was better than the competition. I've also had just a couple minor questions, and was amazed with how quickly the company answered my questions.

Pros: Reports, UI, pricing, ease of use, dashboard, ability to track retroactive hours manually

Cons: Perhaps more comprehensive importing with mapping from excel for system transition

Comments: I really like the way it works, using the timesheet view where you can enter easily your time for different projects. There is also a very useful reporting function to send your time spend to all your clients. All the different applications for web, mobile, etc.. make it easy to view and track your time.

Pros: * You can create estimates for your work, turn that data into invoices and you can track your expenses. * design, usability of the webapp * automatic time tracking of the effort spent per project * professional and friendly support to their users

Cons: There is nothing I don't like about the application, the offered service works pretty nice!

Comments: I have loved this app since it was free.. now I am happy to buy the license for the upgrade, the support and the invoicing options. You can even track your time with the applications you are using live on your computer.

Pros: It helps you track your time on your mobile, tablet, lap...

Comments: I've recently set up as a 3D designer working from home. As an arty designer type I really do not like the whole "paperwork, TAX, invoices, accounting" side of things but I realise that keeping that all in order is imperative to the smooth running of a business. I also need a good, quick and simple project management system. Paymo has fulfilled everything I could have wanted with my business. The less time I'm spending on the admin side of things the more money I can get paid for doing actual design work. I can't think of a better, more simple way of getting things done than Paymo.

Pros: Super simple. Does pretty much everything that you need to get done with the minimum of fuss. The mobile app is an added bonus for logging time whilst not at your computer. The way everything seamlessly ties in from timesheet to invoice, etc. One of the most important things to consider is the online support. With Paymo it is excellent, less than an hour usually and you have a reply - I can't stress the value of this side of things enough.

Cons: I had a slight issue with different clients within one company needing to be billed on the same job (2D work and 3D work). This isn't as simple as I'd hoped BUT there was an easy workaround. Expenses cannot be imported from Shoeboxed - but that's quite a specialist requirement.

Comments: I love this software mostly because as an independent contractor and self-employed consultant, I have to make every dollar count. Being able to track billable time, compile an invoice with that data, and keep track of which invoices have been sent out, paid, or are just drafts keeps me organized while I can focus on more important tasks. The only problem I have with Paymo is that you can only set up a project where you bill price per hour. There is no feature that allows me to differentiate a price per project fee, so when I plug everything into their invoices, I have to be careful that I don't over-bill or under-bill a client. Otherwise, I would highly recommend Paymo!

Pros: The support is very excellent. Each time I had a question, I receivend a answer within a couple of hours. Comments: I recently became a paid user of Paymo - using it about a month now -- I like it. The set up was really easy (started off with the free trial) - they give you a walk through tutorial that is really helpful. The user interface it pretty intuitive and I will say friendly. I did have a question that I posted to their chat support - they answered by the next morning. From what I understand they recently went through a big UI over haul, so I think as they get feedback they improve more and more -- which is nice to know they are working on things. The only issue I had was -- I was hoping there was a way to set an hourly rate per client. They only offer it per project currently, which is not a big deal, easily worked around. But the BEST FEATURE is the dashboard -- I LOVE seeing how I am progressing in my hours for the week/month. So helpful. I think it is a really good option for the price.

Comments: I have a small business, and I use Paymo to track the time my partner and I spend on different projects. I've also used it to track my non-billable hours just to see where I am spending my time. I haven't yet sent an invoice from Paymo, but I plan to.

Pros: The timer is really nice so that I don't have to remember myself how long I worked on something, but I can enter time manually into the timesheet as well in case I forgot to use the timer. I like being able to quickly choose the projects and tasks I'm working on and also write notes about what I'm working on.

Cons: Right now I am using a free trial, so I have two users. I wish It didn't cost an extra $5/month for another user AND $10/month for more than one invoice. I need only two users and will probably send around 2 invoices a month, but that adds a whole $15/month - $180/year, which I probably won't do.

Comments: After trying over 10 apps, i chose Paymo. Easy to use, covered everything i needed (unlimited clientes, projects, tasks, reports and monitor time both on laptop and ios app) and the pricing is affordable for an independent or start-up. I also found that I could translate invoices and estimates into my local language with no hassle. I highly recommended to those starting solo or small businesses. Trust me, 4.95/mth for unlimited projects is hard to find elsewhere.
Pros: Pricing Excellent customer service Easy customisation and interface Awesome reports

Cons: Rollover time from project to project. I work on different projects for the same client and sometimes they ask to take time budgeted from one to the other and i can do it manually but would love to be able to just transfer that time with a click!

Comments: I went on the hunt for a project management software not too long ago. After meticulously comparing features, testing products, and looking at pricing, I decided to go with Paymo. One of the most important features for me was an easy way to track my time while working on various products. One thing that I had never thought of was how cool it would be to bill directly from my Project Management software based on my imputed time! Comments: I've used Paymo for several years and its been super useful. The recent changes, although lost a few nice layouts, have made it easier to manage projects and tasks while continuing to provide a sophisticated but really easy to use billing system. Support is always prompt, helpful and friendly.

Pros: Support is fab and the billing system I love.

Cons: The new layouts are harder to navigate although it does provide greater sophistication on the project management side of things.

Comments: I have used GP Dynamics, CRM and other software to manage budgeted hours and billing. For a fraction of the cost, Paymo far exceeds my expectations. I couldn't recommend this product more highly. I very rarely, if ever experience technical difficulties. When I have encountered issues, my help request was promptly addressed and solved within an hour. When I inquired about a specific reporting function, initially I was told Paymo did not have that reporting capability. However, I wasn't surprised to see that it was added as a new feature with the next development team update.

Comments: Pinnacle Communications & Media Inc uses Paymo to track my time when working on multiple projects for multiple clients. It's given me an improved snapshot of how long things take, which will improve my estimating and bottom line. Pinnacle Communications does planning, research, writing, design and implementation for small business, government, and non-profit clients. We outsource some work to designers and web developers, who I coordinate, and often underestimate that time. We recommend Paymo to the designers as well. I also use it to track administration time, which helps me feel productive especially when I have fewer billable hours in a month.I plan on using Paymo to track time towards our own marketing goals.

Pros: -Desktop tracking and updating app makes it fast easy to add tasks for tracking "on the fly". The browser doesn't need to be open. -Useful to track internal, non-billables too, such as administration, and business marketing. - Customer support is efficient, timely, and friendly. -The dashboard displays my clients and billable reports in a nice clear, coloured interface.

Cons: I haven't tried the invoicing beyond the free trial, perhaps when our invoicing volumes increase.

Comments: I love using this app to track time, organize and bill clients. It has an expense tracking section that I have yet to use but hopefully with the help of Paymo I will get organized enough to track those too. Only gave 3 stars in support because I have never needed it.

Pros: Easy to Use, Great Layout and design

Cons: You have to upgrade to 9.99 a month to send multiple invoices but they have to make money somehow.

Comments: I am currently just a freelancer, so in that a one man company :) But my the amount of invoices and quotes I started to send out started to really pick up. Paymo made this process really fun, simply because I love data and tracking of how the business end of my projects are going. This includes a really well built in system to track the time spent on projects. There is even an app on android that syncs to my projects to do quick time tracking (there was an error and reported the error which got fixed in a day!) With this you get an desktop app which I am starting to use a lot, due to it even stopping when your computer is idle for 5 minutes, just brilliant! I now have data on invoices sent, payments received, by which companies, hours spent on projects vs income and more. This service has some downfalls and will list them but I think it is a extremely well built service and I am sure it will just get better as it grows. The only downfall that I can think off is that you can't have more than one user on a paymo profile sending out invoices, which is strange because I am sure there are companies that would like to give a few people the right to do this? Currently this does not bother me so much. Thanks
