The staff like it and can check shifts on mobile phones as well as laptops. Pros I like that it is easy to use. It is great to keep staff updated on changes to the rota and is so easy to use. For our staff booking holidays and comms it has been useful Cons We have to manually store historical reports because once a Wage/Salary changes, it will change the historical too. We would like to be able to pull out reports with the wage % per location per week but it's not there. Most actions were a click of a button. I liked the fact that it gave flexibility to set start and finishing times if staff were required to come in outside of usual working hours e.g. to attend training, or when called on short notice to cover sickness etc. Pros Rota cloud was easy to use for clocking in and out, shift approvals, it was good value for money, it also had mobile access which made it easy for managers to use, each staff had their own pin and the system would also capture their pictures when clocking in which made it more secure and reduced chances of other people clocking in on behalf of someone else. Shift allocations were easy as you could have at a glance view of the Rota for the week or Month. As we have separate department dealing with payroll I can't really comment on this but from what they used to share, it was easy to calculate what staff should be paid each month etc. Cons Initially it didn't give option for managers to put a cap on maximum hours staff could work in a week so that an alert could be come through to notify managers if someone was exceeding their weekly hours which might have required further approval from the manager to override this. Pros It has been an amazing experience using RotaCloud. From the very beginning, it was very easy and initiative to use. It has made shift allocation and staff management part of my job seamless. It has also made it possible to track and capture staff attendance and punctuality through the clock in and clock out system which shows not only the clock-in time but also the location, giving a sense of security for not only the people we support but also the staff. The availability of the mobile app helps during emergency shifts to know what staff member is available and quick assigning of shift. I must say that the RotaCloud I met when joining is not the same RotaCloud that is currently available as there is constant update of new features, giving great value for money. Cons There is nothing not to like about RotaCloud, from its intuitive outlay to the ever available and helpful customer service. I had worked many different digital rota systems for different companies but this one was an instant hit. Took around 10 min to get an idea of how it works then you learn as you try different things. So much easier and better than any other I had tried previously. Having 40+ rotas life would be very hard without Rotacloud. Pros Easy to use for staff using their mobiles phones. Ability to see all rotas on one week for that staff member. The ability to change shift details from one location. The ability to put up an open shift for all staff members instantly. An invaluable tool for multi site rota management the best I have used so far. Cons A little slow loading, does not show the full title of the rota in the drop down which is a pain if all your rotas titles start the same way. Minor issues though really. It has streamlined rota management, improved communication with staff, and reduced the time spent on scheduling and payroll preparation. It’s an efficient and user-friendly system that has made day-to-day workforce management much easier. Pros RotaCloud has greatly simplified my staff rostering and saves a lot of time. It makes it easy for staff to see their upcoming shifts, and it’s very effective for highlighting unfilled shifts so they can be picked up quickly.
