Fantastic, great team. They are so good it feels like we are part of the same company sometimes! They are fun, very helpful and well mannered! I love customer service and this team are a great example of how a company should project those skills.

Pros

I love that rotacloud has allowed me to gain time back for other responsibilities. It makes rota writing so much easier and quicker, helping my work load be more manageable.

Cons

I would say our staff would raise issues because they are reluctant to use the excellent help section. I personally do advise to use the product on the laptop rather than the app for those who struggle with mobile tech.

I had been recommended Rota cloud, some years before. I was so happy when we were able to finally start using it.

Pros

Simple and easy to set up and use. Reliable and all the team found the option for the app great. Shift reminders allude clock in/out reminders also greatly appreciated.

Cons

Holiday entitlement working out was not so easy for part time workers whose hours fluctuated however support available to assist

the app for staff, easy to amend rotas live so all can see. ask for shifts and publish to staff to claim. easy reports for monthly payroll

Cons

working out different levels for the team and integrating into payroll but once i had it explained to me it was very simple

RotaCloud was a game-changer for our business when it came to scheduling our labour across multiple sites each week. The system is good value for money, easy to navigate and on the rare occasion that we have had to contact the team our issues have been resolved quickly & professionally. I would highly recommend for any business.

Pros

The ease at which we can schedule our working week. Working in construction things often change at the last minute and RotaCloud allows us to make changes at the drag of the mouse. Viewing the weekly schedule in one screen allows us to keep on top of our planning.

Cons

We probably don't use the system to its full potential, but what we do use I have no complaints or issues

I use it every day it every day, it is easy to use and secure, I like the feature that uses all employers email to email them all together with information that you want to know.

Pros

Easy to follow and easy to use also it is quite secured not too hard to add employers and names to it.

Cons

You can not print a specific section of the page that I want to print. Also When you approve the shifts if you have other department open, you approve the whole lot even if another manager using that page.

As already said I find it very easy to use; it has reduced a lot of time for completing weekly rotas and I find it very good

Pros

It’s very easy to use; staff can access their rota on their phones. It has everything I need to complete the weekly rota

Cons

The default when copying a section of time to another week is for the system to automatically copy all shifts rather than the default being not to copy if a shift has already been manually entered on that day

Rotacloud is very user friendly and the help team if we ever do have an issue are exceptional. It has good functionality though we don't currently use all the functions fully.

Pros

Rotacloud makes it very easy to manage the rota for my team, most of whom are part time and spread over 3 different sites in multiple roles.

Cons

The only downside is that it doesn't link in to our Outlook calendars in quite the way we would like, or our HR system which could then automatically input holidays.

Value for money Simple to use, should what we need to view on the systems and very easy to navigate..

Cons

Didnt find anything that i wanted to see that was not avilable on the system. Having to wait for someone to chat back, sometimes there was a long wait, which does not suit the person on the other end of the phone, there needs to be a contact number for a call( this is a must)

I was sceptical at first, always used an excel document for holiday and rota but I'm so pleased we moved to Rotacloud it has reduced my workload and makes it easy for staff to be informed of changes to their working shifts without the need for me to email separately.

Pros

User friendly, easily accessible from multiple devices. Saves a lot of time and keeps a clear record of holiday and hours worked.

Cons

It would be nice if when a member of my team requests holiday it automatically works out the total hours by using the implemented rota hours.

### "RotaCloud - A Simple and Effective Payroll Solution"

RotaCloud is a very user friendly system covering most of our requirements for Staff time management and payroll as well as other areas that we wouldn't necessarily expect from this type of product. I still find it both visually appealing and easy to use despite the fact that it has many complex skills and features 'under the bonnet'. They are also very open to update suggestions and engagement which is clearly something that has kept us onboard as it has evolved over the last 4 years. More of the same in the next 4 years please!

Pros

The user interface was great and still is. Implementation was very straightforward. It has all the features we were after compared to the other products we looked at and the administration of these has generally been quite straightforward. The team behind the curtain were very helpful and communication during set up and the following months was excellent.

Cons

There were initially some teething issues with our business as we are a Private Charity Nursing Home with very specific staffing needs. This made fitting into RotaCloud take some getting used to rather than buying a bespoke product. However, one of the Pros to come out of any of the Cons is that the team are very hands on with customer issues and product updates initially came thick and fast. Nearly all of our early problems were addressed, resolved or a workaround found. I now look forward to what software updates are incoming to further improve our day to day use.

Predominantly due to its ease of use and the fact that they offered us a Charity discount on an already very competitive rate. The team's initial trial period was very generous and allowed us to fully explore the product.

Overall a very positive experience. We get a lot less mistakes with the clock in and outs compared to our old system, which means that it's a lot quicker to do the sense checks and approve time sheets each week prior to payroll.

Pros

Ability to easily schedule shifts and share these shifts with employees. The clocking in terminal on the ipad makes it very simple for Employees to clock in and out for breaks and when they arrive and leave with minimal mistakes.

Cons

Would have preferred either fingerprint or facial recognition for verification of employee presence at the clocking in and out terminal. Also, the fact that you can't edit mistakes on things like peoples break clock ins / outs until the end of their shift is quite annoying.

Reason for choosing RotaCloud

Pay Escape wanted a lot of money up front, compared to £0 upfront from RotaCloud. They were also quoting 3 months to get setup and going (later reduced to 1 month as I' d expressed concern). I really can't see why it would need such a long setup period. I tested RotaCloud and got the basics setup within a couple of evenings so that I could have a play around with the functionality, and it was clear it was going to do what we needed at a fraction of the cost.

Excellent, a really great product. I have used other simimar products and Rota Cloud is by far the best.

Pros

We use the rota management side of Rota Cloud and really like the ease of use of the platform. The Rota Cloud team are also very open to development feedback and are always really supportive if you have a question.

Cons

Not being able to drag a shift from one week to the next. However, if I used the templates more i could help myself!

We were bought out by anther company and Quinyx was their rota management software of choice. It is much less user friendly than Rota Cloud. Thankfully due to integration issues we have managed to hang onto Rota Cloud. Long may it last!

I love Rotacloud - it has totally transformed the stressful relationship I previously had with rota planning and timesheet management.

Pros

It is intuitive and really easy to use, and is packed full of useful features.

Cons

It is hard to find fault with Rotacloud, really. Since I apparently have to write something here, I would say that I wish it was a little harder to accidentally make changes to rotas once they have been published (being able to "lock" a published rota would be great, for instance).

My independent bookselling business based in the UK has seven locations using RotaCloud and we have recently added Special Events for the shows that we attend. We find it very useful and generally the staff like it.

Pros

RotaCloud can be used easily on both desktop and mobile devices. My payroll specialist is able to see all vacation and holiday taken by each staff member. I'm now using RotaCloud to handle staffing for events.

Cons

Some staff find it tricky to use. I'm not super happy with the plane symbol for vacation, how about a palm tree?

Very good. Customer service is great but as we grow we would like weekend support as well. we are a 24/7 operation

Ease of implementation and ease of use. Very Very easy to use

Cons

Some areas are being developed. Would like to be able to put staff changes on in advance so they come into action on the specified date. At present have to sent a reminder in my calendar.Not able to control who picks up available shifts - so don't use this function. We have to consider skill mix in our rotas.We would like a HR option as well but cost is a factor - we are a charity.

Reason for choosing RotaCloud

Generally much much better. Easier to use. As a company they listen to your issues and see where they can develop and help. People planner had no flexibility.

Overall, RotaCloud is our life saver! All of our team benefit from each feature on RotaCloud, from managers to HR to care coordinators to our health care assistants.The customer service is one of their greatest features, as all the team are so helpful, friendly and professional!

Pros

Firstly, the customer service from RotaCloud is outstanding, they are always on hand to talk, they are friendly and always do their best to help you via their chat service. It's a great balance between professional and fun, myself and the team will send funny gif's and memes!The system itself is put together very well and is very user friendly - its very easy to schedule shifts on the Rota, to complete time sheets and monitor annual leave. The reports system is an amazing feature, it breaks down everything from sickness reports, to how many hours worth of shifts per month. It saves us a lot of time working it out individually. It is my favourite feature working with HR. Another great feature that we use all the time is the bulk action tool, which allows you to move shifts from one employee to another in one go, rather than one by one. It saves the company a lot of time!

Cons

A feature that would need to be improved on timesheets would be that it would be helpful if when there is a missing clock in record, it flags up which clock in record is missing, rather than flagging up the day. Due to the nature of our business (community care) our staff can have 10+ shifts allocated per day. So when it flags up, it becomes quite time consuming to go through each one to check where the missing record is! We are currently experiencing a bug with the bulk action tool whereby we are unable to bulk action any shifts from the "open shifts". However, this has been reported to Meg and she has been a great help in getting this looked into!

Great - staff starts and finishes, holiday accrual - vital. Ease of use. Just a really great product.

Pros

UK based- rapid response to queries. Very user friendly - extremely reliable. Employees can use it easily. Easy administrative function. Multiple sites and roles and staff can be managed.

Cons

Staff have to use 'Other Leave' for appt requests or shift swaps. Maybe a different tile? Not sure what. 'Request' - don't know

Uk based - seemed smaller - was based in Yorkshire - I think new grads who were enthusiastic and when contacted always an immediate response. And it is a jolly little user interface and easy to use and oddly flexible.

The cons I describe above are really small, and are 'enchancements' or dev requests more than problems. I could not run this business without RotaCloud!

Pros

Being online means I can create rotas at home or work, and the app means team can access their rotas in the way that's easiest for them. I like being able to copy a shift from one day/person to another, and being able to copy a week's shift from one week to another. The reporting is good also, enabling me to do payroll easily.

Cons

A few things are bit fiddly and could be improved. 1. having to change between publish mode and rota mode. it would be better to be able to publish a week with a button, or a right click for just one shift. 2. it is cumbersome having to create holidays in a different screen. it would be better to be able to do it from within the rota screen. 3. if I'm creating a rota for next week, and then navigate away to, say the holiday screen, when I go back to the rota screen it will go back to THIS week not the week I was editing. On more than one occasion I haven't spotted that and erroneously then edited THIS week instead! 4. it would be great to be able to include paid leave in the report so that I know to include that person's day in a pay run. At the moment, I have created a role of 'paid leave' so that their holiday hours get included in their hours for that week 5. I like being able to see how many shifts a person has for that week (ie in a row) but it would also be helpful to see how many shifts are logged for each day (ie in a column).

The whole are incredible supportive, there is a brilliant online chat function. Any problems we've had they've dealt with so quickly & are friendly with it too. Nothing is too much trouble.

Pros

Its really user friendly for both employees & admins. We're a huge fan of being able to add notes to employees shifts, it's handy for keeping staff in the loop. The reports make it easy to monitor the amount of hours staff are doing. For us the best thing is being able to have separate departmental rotas but them being available for other departments to see.

Cons

There are a couple of features that you can't access from the app or a webpage on your phone (eg the reports on staff hours) but that's only a really minor thing all works fine from a computer or tablet.

Pros

So simple to use and any problems, there is always help at hand. Since switching to RotaCloud it has saved me countless hours of manually counting clock cards, checking leave entitlements left and creating a rota.

Cons

After 2 years I am yet to discover something I least like.
